Dr Anthony & I visited OKA Harrogate
Dr Anthony & I visited OKA Harrogate, our favourite home furnishings store, late last Saturday afternoon. We were greeted by wonderful staff namely, Talia and Carole; Zoe who had been working at her desk finished off her work then offered both Anthony & I welcome refreshments whilst we were making our selection. As usual we were directed by Zoe to the most appropriate person, Carole, who offered us expert help on cushion and throw colours. Talia meanwhile carefully gift wrapped our presents and finally helped us with the trolley to the car with our purchases. We are very happy with the quality of products at OKA Harrogate which along with great staff makes shopping at this store an obvious choice for Anthony & I and no doubt other interior designers!

Helpful staff. Products are always high quality and staff are knowledgeable about stock. Much prefer to look around without staff ‘hanging’ around - your staff don’t!

Great staff
Bought a large vase and lamp shade from Harrogate store. I use this store regularly as the staff are very helpful and will put different combinations of lamps bases/shades together, flowers in vases to achieve the look you are wanting. Michelle helped me with this purchase and together with being helpful she is very good at putting faux flowers together.

Called in to my favourite OKA Harrogate…
Called in to my favourite OKA Harrogate store to order their icon Sheki Olive Armchair, id been pondering for a while, along with the large Sycamore Rug and matching Pouffe as just gone into sale (both great buys!).
Claire and Louisa were so helpful in holding the Pouffe id spotted the day before, so i could return to take my time to see if items worked together prior to ordering. Always great customer care, on hand to chat through ideas, taking time to see options and advise on etc., no rush or hard sell.
Thank you to Tahlia for her help with carry out too.

Trade experience in Oka store
I took my client with me to an oka store as she finds it extremely difficult to visualise. The staff once they realised I was a trade customer, treat us with in difference to the point of rudeness. I was also worried that when I purchased the cushion pads we required they came from a cupboard next to the till (it looked like a cleaning cupboard) and were not brand new in the usual concealed bags).
I even upsold to my client and purchased a side table, lamp and shade that she hadn’t got on her list.
I need to go back to the store as one of the cushions wasn’t right in the light of her troom and the incorrect size cushion pad had been sold. We are also going to purchase another two lampshades. I am dreading this because of the attitude of the sales people.
It was so bad that when we come to do the next room I don’t think Oka will be a suggestion I can make to this client.

It's always a joy walking into Oka Harrogate. All the team are super helpful. On this occasion Carole and Sam helped me. Nothing is too much trouble, they give you the time which is a rarity these days!

Customer service above and beyond, I can’t praise this store enough. The staff go out of their way to be kind & courteous. I would like to give special thanks to Claire and Talia who assisted me with an on line order that was delivered broken. Harrogate replaced the broken products and matched the original sale price. Thank you to an incredible team who are clearly well managed and offered a master class in customer service with clear communication and understanding.
