I had to at least give a 2 star rating because after four purchases, I have been fairly happy. The last two orders something was wrong with -the heat had gotten to them and on most recent order it appeared that the packages were cut maybe by a box cutter??.. however when I called and emailed to let them know, they promptly let me know. It would be fine when my okra turned white, They simply told me to scrape it off with a spoon, and it would be fine, but what I wonder is if they would scrape fungus off of their food after paying a high price for it and then eat it. I wanted to post a picture of how terrible this pickled okra looks but I am posting the literal response that I got from them as if I was supposed to be tickled pink!!!!
“ Good news, that photo confirms it's kahm yeast. A white, chalky surface growth that forms when oxygen contacts live ferments. It's completely harmless; just spoon or rinse it off and keep enjoying!”
SERIOUSLY DO BETTER PEOPLE
