Absolutely terrible experience!! It was a stressful situation already with our garage door sticking since winter; called for help-made the mistake of trusting Olympus Garage Door Albion; got ripped off for $20; PLUS took 30 minutes to get the guy to stop harassing me and leave! No joke, not kidding at all! He had absolutely NO IDEA what was wrong (by his own admission) but insisted first that we had to redo the entire installation (it's worked beautifully for over 5 years exactly as it's installed) then fixated on replacing parts that were not broken or worn (said “I don’t know” when I asked him to show me where they were broken our worn), then tried to play the price is right game despite my continued “NO I don’t want you to do anything” and kept exclaiming that he was "trying to help me"! He just would not stop and would not leave! I called the company to complain, they rushed me off the phone and the supervisor never returned my call! I wish I had read the reviews prior... just glad I'm only out $20 and 30 minutes of my time (which I want BACK!)... other people lost hundreds, even thousands!!

This is a total scam from the website to the workers to the customer service department. Over charge, and charge to use a credit card. I think it may be a money laundrying situation for every location.

Absolute crooks. They are not licensed or insured. Overcharged on the visa card. $2500 for a new opener. Visa said it's straight up fraud. BEWARE...now they are putting fake charges on my credit card....called police...

I am a properties manager at a church and needed a garage door repaired. I would stay away from this company. The shady business practices after the repair were questionable. We need proof of insurance and a W2 for contractors and what they provided is suspect. The repair also seemed very costly. I only wish I would have done my research before calling them. The techs were very hard to understand as English was not spoken very well. Do not use this company. Also tried to bill more than what I approved.

These people are straight out crooks. They charge multiples what a normal company charges

The price was not clearly quoted and ended up being way too expensive when checking rates of other companies. I regret that I did not do my research and was taken advantage

The repair man came and he proceeded to tell us that we need a new door and not a repair He even claimed that even if he didn't get the job, whoever comes will tell us the same thing. He lied and we got the job done for a fair price, he is a low class person, Stay away from this company.

I let my guard down and skipped my usual research on the task/company before starting. Hoping this helps someone...

They sell parts that are not needed, at inflated prices, then install them improperly and don't provide any warranty.

Following Olympus' service call (which cost me $1303.05), a local/reputable (4.9 star) company determined new springs were not needed, overpriced ($500 vs $148 they would charge), not adjusted properly (over 50lbs putting extra strain on the motor) and rollers/hinges were not lubricated (tech claimed they were and stated so on the invoice). They also will not provide a written warranty.

Their receipt didn't mention Olympus, just listed "Garage and Gates." In a call to Olympus they claimed those were just the services they provide, but my credit card listed GARAGEGAT 18889980076 OR. That phone # is for a local dispatch service (with complaints about other fraudulent businesses). Calling the # on the receipt (which is a local # for a handyman without a conscience) just gets voicemail.

Watch out - the company name changes based on your location. Links presented by Google add your local city (/boston.php) to the url which changes the company name within the website to make them seem like a local business.

Company is registered to Alexander Tchoubikin who has others like it that mimic the name and websites of local companies (search for alexander+tchoubikin).

Olympus Garage Door & Gate Repair deserves negative stars for deceptive business practices and price gouging.
