This has taken a serious mental and financial toll on us. Constantly chasing their team for basic updates has been exhausting.
If not resolved immediately, we will be forced to take formal consumer action. Proceed with caution.

It has been over two months since we completed the booking, and despite paying 60% of the total project cost, no work has been initiated. The company continues to delay execution by conducting repeated meetings and issuing revised quotations without any actual progress on-site.
This clearly reflects poor project management, lack of accountability, and failure to honor commitments made at the time of payment. Such conduct is unacceptable and misleading for customers who trust the brand.
If immediate action is not taken, I will be forced to escalate this matter further through consumer forums and other legal channels.
I strongly advise others to be cautious before engaging with Livspace.
Trapped by Discounts: A Livspace Cautionary Tale
Be very cautious with Livspace DLF Newtown. Their sales team used heavy pressure tactics, pushing us to book immediately with a “25–35% discount if you book right now.” Under this pressure we paid ₹40,000 (₹25k booking + ₹15k site evaluation). The store is often filled with employees occupying the space, giving the impression of heavy customer footfall. After two months of repetitive design meetings, the BOQ they shared still had errors and repeated entries, and most materials listed were low-grade MDF. When we decided to proceed with just one room, they removed the promised discount and quoted ~₹6 lakhs for an MDF setup with very average, boxy designs. They also kept changing rules during the process — suddenly saying only 3 design meetings allowed, only 2 revisions for 2D designs, and 3D drawings only after paying 60% of the project cost. When we refused, they kept the ₹40,000 as “design fees” —and didn’t even provide the drawings. Completely unethical. Classic bait-and-switch. Don’t get lured by the discounts and the crowd (artificially set up by their own employees!) And the only thing they will do is send a link to again give a feedback there.

I had a disappointing experience with Livspace. Initially, I was quoted around ₹6.2 lakhs, but later the estimate increased to ₹18–20 lakhs without proper explanation.
There was a lack of transparency in terms, scope, and pricing. Despite informing them about my financial constraints, there was no flexibility or support.
I paid a ₹40,000 registration amount, and even after cancelling the project, the refund has not been processed. Instead, I was asked to select products and pay an additional ₹2 lakhs.
This has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I hope the company resolves this issue promptly by refunding the amount and addressing customer concerns more responsibly.

It is big fraud/scam...like falling into the trap..will not get to know anything unless we raise some issue or concern after booking amount is paid..we also liked livspace initially went for interior design and lost 40k to their scam...they won't provide the designs based on our interest... whatever the boxes they already have , they will convince us to go with them...if we want to go with our interest then they will say go for customisation they charge extra and no warranty will be given ...and no refund or cancellation options..if we choose to go with any one of the works they say they won't take it unless the cart value is 2L...they are forcibly looting us again here...either we have to leave our 40k behind or go ahead and lose 2L to this scam
So please guys...better get full knowledge about the process/ prices/ customisations even before making a deal with livspace.

Worst experience with Livspace. Don't even go with these guys. If you have a wrong door delivered with the original shipment, that will never be resolved. It's been an year the project has been completed and I still couldn't get the correct door.

I was promised a 10 year warranty and the team never shows up. I have written umpteen messages and i get standard auto responses but not a single action has been taken.

I had a very bad experience
I had a very bad experience; this company is fraudulent. They promised a professional designer and 3D designs for my kitchen, but neither happened. A site manager never showed up to check the quality of the work; his only role was to get the contracts signed and collect the advance payment.
The company sent someone to demolish my old kitchen who left all the debris—which was full of live termites—in my backyard and refused to dispose of it properly. The project was not completed on time. Additionally, the corner shutters do not open smoothly. Despite raising 7–8 tickets, the issue remains unresolved. Now, the post-sales team claims they cannot help because I didn't report it during the handover. The company refuses to take accountability for its own work, and the drawer fronts are already starting to fall off....unprofessional attitude

I paid the advance for this project in 2025 with the understanding that the apartment keys would be handed over in March 2026, and that the home would be ready for move-in by early April.
As I currently live outside India, I wanted to ensure that my parents could move into a fully furnished home without having to worry about coordinating the furniture setup themselves. For this reason, I contacted the Livspace team on 3rd February 2026 to inform them about the possession timeline and to begin the process in advance.
At that time, I was informed that the project would restart on 10th February. However, when I followed up again during the third week of February, I was told that approvals were still pending and that it would take another 10–12 days because the project had previously been on hold.
On 28th February, a Livspace representative visited the property for a final inspection before placing the order with the factory. During this visit, he identified that changes were required in the kitchen modular setup to ensure correct installation (this was due to few things overlooked at the first visit by livspace executives). Following this, I came to know on 10th February that the order had been put on hold due to a backend issue. Another Delay of 12 days.
On 2nd March, I received an email from the same representative who visited the property stating that the tentative delivery date under the standard timeline would be 21st April.
Now I am being advised to opt for Express Delivery if I want the project completed sooner. However, even with Express Delivery, the promised delivery date is 24th April, and I am being asked to make 100% payment immediately to proceed with this option.
Given the sequence of delays and the shifting timelines, I am concerned that the project has been repeatedly postponed, leaving me with little choice but to opt for Express Delivery and make the full payment.
Some serious ethical issue.
From my understanding, the delays may be intentional as the financial year is ending and companies often try to reflect higher revenue or profits in their books during this period.
I would also like to raise awareness so that others can avoid facing a similar situation and are careful about making advance payments without doing proper research.
Hopeless
Fraud practices, they will loot your money, mental peace and destroy your excitement of moving new home.
They will disappear after installation in-spite 10yrs warranty claim. Don't go with this company

My first home interior experience and unfortunately it was with Livspace.

Location: Livspace Experience Center – Electronic City (the showroom on the right side just after getting down from the Electronic City flyover toll).
Paid around ₹3+ lakhs for a kitchen that looks decent only from outside. Once you open the cupboards, the reality of the design and execution becomes very clear.
• The design shown during sales and the final installation are completely different. A lot of cabinet space is simply wasted.
• Bolts, nuts and screws are visibly exposed everywhere.
• The L-angle rotating partition that was supposed to rotate in a circular mechanism has been installed as a one-sided opening unit, leaving almost half the storage space inaccessible.
• LED strip lights were just stuck with double tape and started peeling off within 3 months.
• Gap cover ply fixed with a single screw placed on the edge with the screw clearly visible.
Another shocking part during installation there was no Livspace designer or engineer present to coordinate or supervise the work. The technicians themselves said they had no idea about the design logic and were just installing based on instructions they received. They asked us to “wait”, fixed everything anyway and left.
For ₹3+lakhs this level of workmanship and coordination is extremely disappointing.

Payment discrepancy
I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment regarding the responses shared by your team in the WhatsApp group.
The pending payment amount has been revised three times within a single day without proper clarification. Initially, I was informed that the balance amount was ₹86,000. Subsequently, I was asked to pay ₹1,25,000, then ₹1,09,500, and finally ₹1,02,000. These repeated and unexplained changes in the pending amount reflect a serious discrepancy and unprofessional handling of my account.
Due to this inconsistency and lack of transparency, I am no longer willing to proceed with the remaining payment or continue the interior work with Livspace.
I request you to either:
Provide materials equivalent to the amount of ₹1,77,414 already paid, or
Provide electronic items worth ₹1,77,414

Despite raising a complaint through their customer care service twice, there's been no response. They don't even bother to respond to calls or messages. Complete waste of time and money. Wouldn't recommend Livspace to anyone.
