Another company whose system cuts your apartment number off your address *after* you've checked everything and clicked "place order" or whatever. PayPal did this after I had already had multiple deliveries through them and so I make damn sure to check. Item was destroyed bc it couldn't be delivered. I'd give no stars if that was an option. If I can't buy it locally I'll live without. Sod buying online. No accountability.

I received an e-mail saying they had been sent and I would receive a tracking number in 48 hours. Email never came. I followed this up and they sent a tracking number which seems to be a real tracking number and it said it had arrived in New Zealand and then said it had been returned to sender due to more info being required but no one ever contacted me.

TOTAL SCAM but from the sounds of other reviews I am not missing much if the shoes did arrive.

Do not waste your time and money ordering from Ortorex. Its a scam, ordered a sleep mask end of October and it still hasn’t arrived. The same eyemask is available on temu for $2 or less. Shipping link and scans also look fake and links do not work

Stock is not available locally. Their website is misleading. Customer service said will be shipped from China. Never arrived. Scam

Otorex nz is not a registered company in NZ it falsely misleads people into thinking so with their name as such. I am reporting them to the Commerce Commission, NZ Police & all others that deal with them. We need to stop the bullshit where China or whoever the hell these people are established from their lying & deceptive means of stealing our hard earned money. Who the hell do they think they are! I have now lodged a formal complaint to the commerce commission.

After purchasing some very well priced shoes I was dismayed after discovering poor reviews about Ortorex and chastised myself for not doing a company search before ordering. HOWEVER my experience has been excellent. The shoes arrived in a very reasonable time and the product is great. I will happily order from Ortorex again

Noted some poor reviews....but my experience extremely positive in NZ.
Stupidly clicked two items to buy when only needed one, emailed company and order changed and promptly refunded.
Ordered product was as described, in good condition and I received same in a couple of days.

Scam, ordered and never received product. Got fake shipping tracking form China which never arrived and after ages said ‘left in letterbox’ which was a lie.

Thought I was dealing with a New Zealand company and therefore quick delivery but I was scammed!!! The goods are actually in China, where I could have easily purchased them at a third of the price I had paid. I thought I was paying extra for goods already in NZ and quick delivery. Still waiting for delivery. Will never deal with this company again as it would have been quicker and far cheaper to use Temu. Sellers shouldn't be allowed to use .co.nz if not based in New Zealand.

Upon receipt of goods, I emailed Otorex they were unsuitable and advised I was returning them. As there was NO paper work with the goods I asked for the return address which was in Poland( shoes were dispatched from China. ) Their site is a NZ email domain. The cost of return was more than the shoes were worth($55-$111) .I believe this is unfair trading and wish to caution people that they purchase only when they have done due diligence on Otorex.

Fit on one of the shoes was loose and sloppy. Even though unworn they would not refund, or allow a smaller size. Would not recommend this company. Thought I was getting a better price on a style similar to my allbirds. Allbirds were fabulous to deal with online. So valuable lesson learnt.

So gutted.

Feeling very ripped off and silly.

Total scam (maybe not TOTAL - the product did actually arrive), but completely crap quality and unwearable. I fell for the scam thinking it was a NZ company, which it is falsely set up to look like, first sign was no shipping cost.
I got the shoulder strap posture corrector - it's gone straight in the bin after wearing it for 2 minutes. Extremely uncomfortable - cuts in very tightly under the arms, and I'm a size 8 - it would be completely unusable for anyone bigger and even for me it was extremely uncomfortable, actually painful to wear.

Do not purchase from this place!!!!

Don't be deceived! They present themselves as a New Zealand company selling specialised orthotic/orthopaedic products, but in fact they're a Polish outfit and the goods are cheap crap straight from China, sold for an absurdly inflated price. In practice goods are not returnable since you would have to pay for shipping yourself all the way back to Poland!, which makes it unfeasible, something these scumbags must be counting on.

They're dropshippers, they don't import goods then ship them to you, the goods just ship straight from China. Like Temu, except you're paying ten times more. If you want to buy cheap Chinese junk (which you shouldn't, since they've been found to contain dangerous levels of certain metals like lead), you can buy it direct from China for a quarter of the price! Just do a google search for the product name or photo from the Ortorex website.

Their ‘award-winning’ support cannot answer even basic product questions because they don’t handle their own stock. I asked for the length of the socks and they spent 3 weeks saying that someone would be in touch soon.
