We have been using Outgrow for quite sometime now. We used it to create a business growth calculator which has helped us to be able to show potential clients the value of using our digital marketing services to grow their profit and value of their business. By showing them how much profit they would make by increasing the number of clients and the impact this would have in their overall growth, they are usually sold on our services. So I like the tool as it helps us to convert clients

Very easy to create quizzes, calculators and many other. The interface is very easy to use and the builder is also great. The possibility to install your tracking pixels also helps a lot for retargeting. We are using also Mailchimp integration to send automatic emails to those who fill out our forms and use calculators. Pricing packages are also very convenient and suit any kind and any size business perfectly. But what it excels in is customer support, immediate response on any issue and willingness to go extra mile to make your campaign a success. All in all it is a great marketing tool for lead generation and acquisition. Highly recommended.

Very good tool to make various calculators. Customer support is awesome, skilled and very helpful. Used Outgrow as an MVP to test a calculator before we invest lost of money into custom building it.

Nice Software - Very easy to use!

Outgrow was a great surprise to me.
When I checked out that Outgrow could create quizzes with calculations, I thought it was something more basic. My great surprise was to verify that more than a hundred functions are possible to create the calculations. When I saw the templates, I thought it was a small change of photos and arrangement of the elements. Again surprised with very different templates from each other, with well-defined functions. In addition, knowing that Outgrow has a lot more templates makes me happy because it greatly extends the reach of what we need to do. What I need: Creation of quizzes with variables to create results reports. Another need: Extend my contact lists. Outgrow is ok to me 100% in these two situations also. I really recommend this product. It really worth the investment. Another point: Very easy to edit questionnaires and quick to edit (good servers).

What do you like best?
Easy to set up polls, quizzes, calculators, etc., with lots of flexibility in terms of how long they can be, the types of responses that can be asked for, branching logic, etc.

What do you dislike?
Getting access to all of Outgrow's impressive capabilities can get quite pricey for solopreneurs and startups, but if you're a well-established enterprise, Outgrow can be a cost-effective engagement powerhouse.

Recommendations to others considering the product
If increasing prospect and customer engagement is important to you, and you're looking for ease of use, maximum flexibility, lots of templates to choose from, and you're wanting to rent this kind of software rather than own a more pared down version of this sort of thing, definitely check out Outgrow.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Getting prospects engaged, keeping customers and course-takers involved. As to benefits, whenever we can get people interacting with us, the likelihood that they'll purchase or remain customers only increases. Outgrow's software makes doing this as simple as possible while providing an unusual range of flexibility with ways to engage.

My messages in the chat got finally replied and after a long communication and a skype call with the outgrow team I got the chance to downgrade the subscription.
Also, I got an email + call from customer care regarding my review requesting to get it updated with the new info ie. that my chat got a reply and that we found a compromising solution to the issue.
TBH I didn't have the time to test the actual functionality of their tool, as my schedule is a bit busy with other tasks at the moment, still I hope that it works as the rest of the reviews on trustpilot indicate. Otherwise it will be really disappointing, when I am to the point to actually use it.

Dark UX patterns in use, when canceling a trial + Upselling trials when contacting customer care.

My experience with outgrow started positively. They seemed a great service with many personalization options and good customer care. I started the trial to understand how the tool works, what kind of experience it requires and if that would suit our needs for lead generation. After 2-3 days we decided to not proceed with Outgrow as it seemed a bit overpriced for what we planned and we didn't need all of their features. Trying to cancel the subscription I got a prompt to get a personalized offer for the service, tailored to my specific needs and requirements. I clicked the button and got advice that their representative will contact me shortly. I never got a call or email back, but after a few days (the day my trial I tried to cancel got expired) I got charged for an essential yearly subscription ($900+) which I don't really need. I contacted customer care, which acknowledged the misshapen, however never came clear back to me on what I can do to cancel - if I could still cancel. I got offered to get additional support, a chat or call with a representative to tailor a package to my needs - exactly what the prompt promised when I tried to cancel as well as some help with a customized quiz. While I really appreciate how hard the customer care tries to upscale - I am really wondering if the whole experience I had is how the service experience is designed for users who try to opt-out of the trial. I did a horrible mistake not canceling at the moment and trusting the company that they will offer me a personalized offer.

The product itself seems ok, didn't have the chance to test with users yet and still unsure if that would ever fit our requirements, however, it was quite easy to use and handle when we tested it.

The fun part is I was the one insisting on their tool, as they seemed to offer tailored services which we could take advantage of. If you already know you will use them instead of competitors, go for it, if unsure start the trial but if you decide to cancel DON'T accept to get an offer personalized to your needs. The offer will come - if ever- after you get charged for a year and after some point, your messages to customer care will get ignored.

The pre-built calculators and templates make it easy to set up something useful very quickly.

The support team is responsive and extremely helpful - especially with more complicated calculations.

A great software that has helped us very much with our lead generation.

Not great. Won’t be using again

I work for a Carsharing company and we use Outgrow to easily make calculation tools where people can quickly see if a shared car is beneficial for them. They are super easy to make, and can be duplicated and modified within minutes. This allows us to scale our company more efficiently. Our company is relatively small, so every euro has to be spend wisely. The Freelance package offers enough for us to do exactly what we want to do with our calculations. I've done some research into alternatives, and I find that the competition is not on the same level. I recommend this software to anyone that wants make basic or advanced calculation tools for their website within a few hours.

The reason for the 10/10 is that the one time I got stuck within Outgrow, there helpdesk was able to fix it within a few hours. The calculator wasn't displaying properly and I don't have the technical know-how to resolve the issue myself, but with the support of Outgrow I got it up and running the same day.

I'm looking forward to any updates that this software will have in the future to get even move value for my money.

I use Outgrow to help clients generate highly qualified leads. Outgrow quizzes are one of the most successful "lead magnets" I've ever used because the conversion rates are very high AND it has the added benefit of qualifying leads before the business spends time and resources following up. As the lead goes through the quiz, they leave valuable demographic and psychographic information that enables us to tailor our offers to their specific needs and wants. Very few leads will fill out an extended form that will capture this information, but they do complete an extended quiz because it's fun and there's the promise of gaining value at the end. You can't get this type of intel and interactivity when you're offering an ebook or video course.

I highly recommend Outgrow to anyone seeking a lead generation tool that qualifies leads and aids in the sales process.

Very easy to use, provides good templates for a few scenarios to get started, and I like the variations of logical steps you can choose to really add many variables and customisations when creating a quiz.
