Absolute scammers

Absolute scammers. Take deposit from you then keep calling to change appointment, engineer van problems, etc. each time they call they try to get rest of payment from you and book you in for other services. Luckily I refused full payment but don’t hold out much hope of getting my deposit back!

Everything Looks good from the website

Everything Looks good from the website, my first concern is that no invoice was sent to my email & I received a text from a number reported to be a scam. Following up a few days before appointment no email reply, a phone call day before to say person can not come next day & to re-arrange later. I declined and asked for money back if which I receive an email asking to add my bank details for a refund. I know it’s easy to give refunds so alarm bells are ringing again! My card is frozen and I really hope the bank can sort out.

Disgusted customer

After paying oven support in March for an oven clean, up to the 7th April our appointment has been cancelled 3 times, always with the excuse that the engineer had gone sick, and so I’ve cancelled my appointment and asked for a refund, if anyone is looking for an oven cleaner, please do yourself a favour, and give this unreliable company a very wide berth 😡😡😡

I have used this company before (over a year ago) and had a good experience and even recommended them. However, the company seems to have deteriorated over time. I scheduled a clean for beginning of February, they cancelled on the day. I had paid upfront and it took a month to receive my refund (with me chasing.) When they contacted me to reschedule I agreed on the basis that I would not pay upfront again. Good job I didn’t as they cancelled again today. Complete waste of time and a frustrating experience.

Good Job Lee!

When I looked at the reviews ( after booking) my heart sank. However as I had paid my deposit I decided to hold out. If you have this company please ask for Lee. I am very pleased with the final product. Lee was on time, rang me half hour before arrival, very friendly and chatty got the job done quickly and professionally.
The company did rearrange the appointments with me twice before this one which was frustrating and that’s why I have given 4* however this is no reflection on Lee, but at that point Lee wasn’t there person who was due to do the job.

Worst Service ever

If there was a negative score option here I would score -5.
Booked a double oven clean. Surprised to have to
Pay upfront but as we thought we were dealing with Cookerburra we went with it. After declining sales patter trying to sell us contracts we waited for the representative to arrive as planned.
Within 30minutes he had smashed the glass on the oven door. Accidents happen but the process following this has been truly appalling. We were without an oven for 2 weeks. We did all the chasing up of the repair people and the customer service team, despite multiple promises of calls back, did nothing. We are still “on hold” for the return of one person from sick leave to deal with our requirement of a full refund as a minimum. We don’t have confidence that he will be the person who can make decisions on refunds but the other “service” personnel insist he’s the only one who can deal with it.
There are allegedly no “management” ever available. I was given the name of Dave Reynolds as a Director. Also never available. Without doubt the worst service I have ever received. Apart from the person who is currently off sick, who was at least polite, the other 4 customer service people I spoke to were indifferent at best and totally dismissive in general. Cookerburra, if they are Franchising to the likes of Ovensupport, would be wise to disassociate from these people. If they are one and the same then they deserve to fail.
Absolutely awful experience.

Ovensupport were due to come and clean…

Ovensupport were due to come and clean my single oven on Tuesday 3 March between 1-4 I had a text message to say we’re running over an hour late I then received a phone call to say wouldn’t be coming and would reschedule for following Tuesday. I haven’t heard from them since!!

Excellent service

Excellent service. I read a lot of negative reviews after I had booked and was worried. Can only say that Dan, turned up on time, was polite ,even took his shoes off, and did an excellent job on cleaning my oven and hob. I will use them again

Scam company AVOID

Paid £20 upfront with £20 to pay on day. Received call today asking for the rest of the payment. Alarm bells ringing. Googled company and found out that are scammers. Shame on me. I'm normally much smarter than this!

An untrustworthy company - avoid at all costs

If this is a genuine company (which I very much doubt) they are the very worst of them! On two occasions they cancelled their appointment with implausible excuses. I cancelled my order and asked for a refund which never happened. My telephone is never answered by customer support (perhaps my number is now blocked??) and when I speak to an employee on the booking line, I am advised customer service will return my call but they don’t.

I strongly advise anybody considering using this company to think again; they will take your money in advance then fail to provide the service you booked and then fail to refund you.

Dishonest

They quoted £55 for an oven clean and I paid half. On the day they rang to confirm and quoted £80! I refused to pay and asked for a refund which they reluctantly agreed - that was a month ago. Now I find e
mail cant be delivered to the email on their website or on my order confirmation. I don't suppose I'll get my £27.50 back.

I booked a clean of my oven December…

I booked a clean of my oven December and paid a deposit in good faith. The date was confirmed and I paid the final amount a few days before the cleaner arrived. After 4 cancelled appointments I cancelled and demanded a refund, on 20th January.
After a number of calls, speaking to sympathetic staff I am still waiting for the refund in week 1 of March 2026.
I will be in contact with my bank to retrieve my money.
Do not use the company, they are not honourable!

Worse customer service

Worse customer service. I would recommend not using this company. I booked a cleaning however no one turned up. They cancelled and there was no attempt to contact me via email as they couldn’t get hold of me via phone. Happily sat on my deposit until I contacted them. When trying to rebook, was told of an added surcharge of £25 to clean 2 small racks as I live in a flat. Rude customer service told me that per the t&c I have to wait 28 days for a refund. The lady then proceeded to hang up on me with no remorse. Completely rude. I would never use this company again.

Unexpected Surcharges

Booked in for an afternoon slot. Driver came at 8:30am ergardless, claiming that he couldn't see parking on my road. I said that I could see a spot from my window and offered to go down and stand in it. By the time I'd got downstairs he'd hung up on me and was no longer answering.

Company rang back in the afternoon to re-book, claiming they needed surcharges for parking and because I was on the second floor (despite there being an elevator). Neither of these were made clear in the booking process. Refused to issue a refund.

0 stars! Do not use this company is nothing more than a ponzi scheme to take money from you and ignore any attempts to refund. AVOID! On companies house the individual listed is David Alan Reynolds and the listed address is 130 Old Street, London EC1V 9BD. I imagine he will be getting some fan mail you are disgraceful as a company and nothing more than fraudsters who should be prosecuted for theft.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I booked online in advance for someone to come to my daughters flat to clean a freestanding oven and grill. She was moving in and had no other means of cooking. This company requires half of the money upon booking, then phones up a day prior to them arriving to request the remaining half of the fee.. then stating that they charge an additional £10 to clean the top of the cooker! Trying the hard sell (other appliances, Teflon liners etc)...then to top it all, during the 3 hour window they gave they rang up to say that the cleaner had broken their tooth and couldn't come...they tried to reschedule for 1 weeks time...I asked if they had other cleaners in the area, and apparently they hadn't. I asked them to refund and that takes 2-3 weeks to process ...yet they are quick to process taking my money without providing a service. An appalling experience with this company....avoid at all costs!!!
