I needed to understand the extra bin…charge
I needed to understand the extra bin lift charge. Our bin lid was damaged and our bin excess related to the amount of water rather than refuse. Courtney one of your staff members explained the extra cost. In reply I mentioned about our damaged bin lid . Courtney followed on this and offered to replace same. I asked would there be a cost involved, very pleasant surprised, no extra cost.

Picking a skip was easy to do due to the wealth of information and prices given in their website . From then on all I needed to do was telephone and the date and time were pretty bang on . Collection was the same and the driver was very helpful and professional

Rang at approx 11.30 on the day of…
Rang at approx 11.30 on the day of delivery. Lady told me she would get it to me asap.(But driver was out)
It arrived at 8 p.m.
Driver wanted to leave it on the road side. In my housing estate it would have bn full in a hour & not with my stuff.
On day of collection. I had to go out. So asked for driver to close the gates when he was leaving..
That evening my son was driving past and the bin was gone but the gates were left open..

Courtney offered me many options that I would be able for. She was very knowledgeable about recycling, waste & composting. I can't believe how enjoyable it was considering the topic. She was friendly & patient but very professional. I know she would be a great advocate via recorded videos for your service & your customers to help understand the process & importance of all the bins.

The skip was not delivered until 5pm on the first day and it was due to be collected yesterday and has still not been collected yet.

Quick and easy to book the skip online. I had down to collect on the Monday but had to ring next day and they collected in late that evening

The reason i can’t give 5 stars
The reason i can’t give 5 stars, there was no answer to may email what time you will be coming. Also collection i ordered next day, but Oxigen kept it one more day even i did contacted them to collect it.
Other than that it was easy to order, got the right skip.

29 August moved house
29 August moved house, arranged for bins to be moved to new address. 3-4 days I was told. Sent email 5 Sept asking for update, reply received 9 Sept saying they would definitely be with me 10 Sept, did not arrive. 11 Sept phoned them, apologies (again) would definitely arrive 12 Sept (today). 12 Sept received phone call - sorry won't be delivered until Monday 15th Sept - at this point I have absolutely no faith they will arrive. My collection day is a Monday so I will miss that collection - 3 weeks without bins but I know my payment will be taken without any delay. Absolutely terrible service - avoid at all costs. Safe to say I will be changing my rubbish collection company.

My experience as a new household…
My experience as a new household customer - On the 3 occasions I put the brown bin out it wasn't collected as scheduled..after the second occasion I was assured it wouldn't happen again. On the third occasion I rang to cancel and was told I had to pay a cancellation fee. Ridiculous really considering Oxigens failure to fullfil the contract. My advice is go with another provider.
Updated 18/9/25 -refund of money on account received and no cancellation fee charged.
