I did an awful lot of research before settling on P4 Solar for our solar/battery solution. I would like to share my experience with P4 Solar's services because I believe it deserves a recommendation. It is important to me that my opinion is authentic and not influenced by any unreliable business practices that many companies use to buy customer reviews.

My personal experience with P4 Solar began in mid-November 2022 when I contacted them based on a colleague's recommendation. After a few emails and calls, I accepted their final offer for a full installation of solar panels with a 9.6 KWh Battery System on November 29, 2022. To my surprise, the installation took place just a week later on December 9, 2022.

The entire process, from negotiation to installation, only lasted 21 days. I am not sure if I was lucky or if it was due to the winter season or the fact that I paid in cash.

Initially, I was disappointed with the system's operation as I had little knowledge and understanding of how to use and configure it. Additionally, the initial use of the system was during winter, affecting the results. However, in June 2023, my energy supplier informed me of an overpayment, and I received a £494 refund.

I was also informed that my standard charge direct debit (gas + electricity) was reduced from £140 to £72.78 each month. Although it seemed like an abstract idea, I took the risk and accepted the proposal to reduce my direct debit by half. As of March 2024, nine months from this decision, I have saved £700 this year.

I want to emphasize that this result is due to my full awareness of use, understanding of the entire process, analysis, and changing bad habits of all users in my family. The building's insulation also had an impact on such a good result.

In mid-February of this year, I noticed that one of the batteries was not charging, which affected the other two (battery com faulty error flashing). As I was going on vacation, I didn't have time to deal with the issue until my return on March 11, 2024, at 1:43 p.m. I then called customer service at 0333 344 6369 P4 Solar to resolve the problem. I was redirected to a gentleman named Justin, who was very professional and tried to solve the problem with me over the phone and through the app.

Justin followed the root cause analysis process and determined that the master battery was faulty. He told me that he had a meeting at the company at 3 p.m. where he would present the problem on the forum and provide me with information on the further repair process. At 4:27 p.m. on the same day, I was informed that the battery would be replaced the next day, March 12, 2024, at 11:45 a.m. This was less than 24 hours from the start of my complaint process.

I am grateful for the approach to the client and full professionalism. In summary, I highly recommend P4 Solar for their speed and professionalism, not only in their implementation but also in their approach to clients. I hope that they will maintain these high standards, which will lead to continued business success.

We have just had solar panels and a battery installer at our property and P4 were outstanding. Throughout the whole process every member of staff has been, polite abd respectful even taking the time to talk through various configurations.
The install was very professionally completed and the install team were very clean and tidy. When the commissioning was completed they took the time to ensure I understood the app and had no questions prior to them leaving site.
I cannot speak highly enough of P4, they have set the bar very high. I would have no hesitation in recommending them at all - great job, great company - amazing results. Thank you.

P4 Solar installed our panels and batteries in April ‘23. From the initial survey to the installation and the post sales support, everything was very smooth. The pre installation report ensured that the system was correctly sized for the household energy use. This was then installed over a week with little impact to the rest of the house. We are really pleased with the installation. Every was left very tidy and neat. We have no hesitation in recommending P4 Solar, especially when there seems to be a lot of solar installation companies out there and you not sure who to trust.

We have just added some extra batteries to our solar system which has made a huge difference to our off grid capacity. P4 solar supplied and fit them at a very affordable price and the installation was carried out very professionally. Thanks guys for an excellent service.

From start to finish a wonderful experience. Got our batteries and hybrid inverter installed much earlier than expected and all working brilliantly. Fred needs a medal as he must have answered hundreds of questions I threw at him: incredibly supportive both in the process of finding out about the systems and in the follow up.
Why go with anyone else?

I rececently approached P4 Solar about fitting a solar battery. I had done my own research but it was quite confusing given potential export tariffs/cost of equipment given that i have had solar panels for 13 years now. I don't have an electric car. P4 were absolutely excellent. No BS and absolutely no pressure. Fred did a first rate job in explaining the ins and outs and, overnight, gave me some figures to consider. Even approached my energy provider to confirm tariffs for import/export etc. P4 Solar, in my humble opinion, is an excellent company and will guide you professionallyto a solution even if that solution does not give them a sale. As time goes on and costs change, I will go back to P4. No doubt.

Excellent. I have not experienced levels of customer service as good as this. Quality installation by skilled and personable staff. Looks really good and works well.

P4 Solar gave good advice on the system, the installation was carried out efficiently by pleasant and competent staff, and the system is working as expected. There was a small hitch in that they forgot to install the bird proofing with the panels, but returned and completed the job without issue.

I had a construction company for 40 years and so understand most aspects, although I did a lot of research on solar, Peter’s knowledge and advice was excellent. A date was booked for the installation and adhered to, the workmen were professional, tidy and friendly. There was a small problem with the CAT5 cable, but the electricians were back to following morning to rectify.
Fred has been excellent with his technical support.
P4 Solar are an excellent company & very professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Excellent from start to finish. Plenty of information and good communication. The installation of solar panels and batteries was complete within a few hours, and one minor teething problem resolved in days. All documentation was provided in good time and post-implementation support has been great. More than happy to recommend these guys to anyone looking at moving to solar and batteries.
