We are so grateful that we used Pacific For Less for our honeymoon to French Polynesia! They rescheduled due to the pandemic quickly, easily, and professionally. I always felt secure in the regular updates and information I received. Even without the pandemic, we loved the ease of scheduling and information provided. We even got a cute gift of a coral donation in our name as we returned. We received a free ATV ride by booking with them and it was a highlight of our trip. They were great with scheduling our wedding ceremony at a third party location that I located, as well. They were spot on with the hotel recommendation, as we saw other hotels it did appear that the Hilton Lagoon and Spa in Moorea had the best lagoon, we noticed this from lookout points, as well! Staff was always friendly, responsive, and helpful. Highly recommend!

We were initially hesitant to using them for our trip to Bora Bora in French Polynesia because we had never heard of Pacific For Less (PFL) before, only big names such as Costco Travel, etc.

After reading many excellent reviews of their clients' past experiences and initial phone discussions with Cathi, PFL's Tahiti travel specialist, we decided to choose them to book our anniversary trip.

Cathi was patient with us and prepared several packages for us to fit our interest and, especially, budget. She was professional, approachable, showed empathy and very knowledgeable of the packages and related hotels.

We had to take our time to review and save for the trip. Cathi patiently waited, for months, until we were ready. We finally came back to her and chose Le Bora Bora (formerly Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa).

We were initially hesitant to book with Le Bora Bora because the photos the hotel had showed an outdated property, but Cathi assured this property was being renovated and would have a soft-opening during our scheduled stay. At our request, Cathi procured recent photos from the hotel and we were quite pleased and relieved after that.

We made our corresponding deposits, travel and hotel reservations (I communicated with Jeanna, the accounting manager) for these. Jeanna was always so helpful, willing and able to assist us even with things not related to billing or payments.

Then Monika, who was like our Personal Concierge at PFL, made reservations for activities and things we wanted to schedule during our say. We thank her making the scheduling easy for us.

Jennifer, the Senior Travel Consultant, kept us updated on important information for our travel (required COVID testing, travel insurance, etc.).

Claudia, the Managing Director, was also readily available.

When we arrived at Le Bora Bora, our jaws dropped with pleasant surprised when we saw that the even the recent pictures we got did not do justice to the current beauty of the hotel property, our overwater room, the pool, the restaurant, the lobby, etc. It was STUNNING!

We usually book our own travel but decided to use PFL for our Bora Bora trip due to the significant expense of the trip, their expertise in the region, and the overwhelmingly positive reviews about their agency.

Cathy, Monika, and Jeanna all did a fabulous job at answering our questions and helping us create the perfect itinerary for our trip. Their intimate knowledge of the properties and available activities on Bora Bora were very impressive and every suggestion they made worked our perfectly for us.

My wife and I booked our 11-day Bora Bora honeymoon through Pacific for Less originally slated for April, though we ultimately had to shift our wedding & honeymoon to August. I have never worked with a travel agent before because I have always felt that if I do the research myself, I can find a better deal than someone else. This strategy seemed to produce real results in previous vacations I planned. I initially did a lot of research for this trip finding a great deal at Costco. Before I booked, I read several reviews that highlighted Pacific For Less and the unbelievable service and value they provide. With the investment I was making in this trip, I felt compelled to call them and see what they can offer.

From the moment I called, I just felt like I was dealing with a family member looking out for my best interests based on what we were looking for in this adventure. They were just so knowledgeable and friendly. While the initial costs were surprisingly comparable to Costco, the value really surfaced during this pandemic.

During the pandemic, French Polynesia closed its borders and international travel was put on hold for several months. Resorts shut their doors. This affected our travel dates in June. This might have created some anxiety, panic, and confusion for may travelers, but not for us. Pacific For Less was constantly providing communications on what was going on from day one. I never had to reach out to them, as they Initiated every call, text, email. Several times a week they were providing updates based on French Polynesia government travel guidelines, new resort protocols, and airport COVID testing rules and locations. They were like my own personal assistant, taking care of every detail. It was not one person, but a team working flawlessly together to keep me informed. Once they provided the dates of when the islands would re-open, we easily updated our itinerary without any issues. One of the biggest surprises was that because of their existing relationships with the resorts, they were able to get us free dinners at the resorts as a thank you for re-booking! Food and drinks in French Polynesia are really expensive because of the remote location. This saved us close to $1800 that we expected to pay!! Once we arrived, we even were upgraded on our rooms.

During the vacation we had some questions and called them directly as they are on the same time zone, and they answered immediately. Even after hours they responded and keep us at ease. Just impeccable service.

Our vacation was for 10 nights that included Mo’orea, Taha’a, and Bora Bora. The best vacation we have ever experienced, from start to finish.

Once we returned, Claudia called and was interested in hearing about the trip: the highs, and lows (none), and if there was anything else they could have done to enhance our experience. Just a true professional to continue to want to impress and service her clients. We ended up talking for an hour about our experience in paradise, all because they planned it for us. She really cares about her clients.

We got out honeymoon to French Polynesia planned by Pacific for Less and it was incredible! This was the first time we reached out to a travel agent and it was well worth it. Incredibly happy with pacific for less. Like others I was a bit hesitant about giving a company out of Hawaii so much money for a trip with meeting them but I’m so glad I did! I couldn’t image traveling during COVID without all their help! We had to rebook our vacation twice but they made it very easy (no fees!) and always kept up informed on what was going on in Bora Bora. Highly recommend!

This was our 2nd trip to the South Pacific and the 1st time we used Pacific for Less. Having used Tahiti Legends the 1st time we found there was NO comparison to Pacific for Less. We found PFL went above and beyond on assisting with complimentary upgrades to personalized service throughout the trip to even "checking in" during travel to the South Pacific to see if everything was going okay. Who does things like that?? Pacific for Less does!!! Without a doubt on our next trip to the South Pacific (which there will be) we plan on using PFL!! Allow me to start by stating Claudia and her team assisted us with our honeymoon at St. Regis Bora Bora back in 2014. Everything was arranged perfectly for us back then.

Come November 2019, we are celebrating our 5th anniversary and decided to return to Bora Bora, this time with our 3-year old twins. Pacific For Less arranged everything for us once again (this time we chose to stay at the Four Seasons), and I cannot begin to tell you how flawless everything was. Claudia made sure our life before and during travel would be a breeze, considering we are travelling with little kids. She gracefully made adjustments with our seats on the plane, and our package included access to the VIP Lounge in Tahiti. This was a much needed bonus, as our kids enjoyed the trip soooo much, that they were so tired by the time we were leaving the islands. The airconditioned VIP Lounge (with lots of snacks) was a lifesaver. Claudia and her team also arranged for us to have a private Safari Lagoon Tour which included an informal photoshoot at the resort and during the tour. It's truly something we would treasure forever. Although specific villas cannot be guaranteed upon reservation (only villa types, but not the specific ones), Claudia did everything in her power to ensure we were assigned one that is kid-friendly (in shallow waters) to give us peace of mind in case our twins would accidentally fall over. The Four Seasons did board up our balcony with plexi-glass as well. Oh, and let me not forget the service we received upon arrival in Tahiti - complete with a lei reception, and us being escorted to a "special VIP lane", avoiding the long lineup at the customs area (again, definite bonuses when travelling with little kids!) We were most definitely pampered the entire trip.

Obviously, a trip to French Polynesia is expensive. As they say, you get what you pay for. I can honestly say that even if we're among "the average middle class" who can only afford to do this trip once every 5 years or so and have had to make "cheaper" choices to make this trip more affordable and plausible for us, Claudia made us feel as if we're as important as the next millionaire client.

I only hope and pray we are able to return for our 10th anniversary, 5 years from now. I can most definitely guarantee we will be dealing with Pacific For Less again when that time comes.

Imagine being on your honeymoon and COVID-19 happens...

Being in a foreign country, we heard many rumors from other guests and at the resort about what would happen to tourists on the island as information on the island was limited. Claudia was extremely helpful in maintaining communication throughout all the frequent and changing developments. She rebooked our flights to fly back home to the USA as the government banned tourists from being in the country. While we unfortunately didn’t make it to Bora Bora from Moorea, she was able to give us a full refund for that part of our trip. I couldn’t imagine trying to rebook this travel back home without her help. Having her open line of communication was invaluable during this crisis and she worked hard to try to put us at ease by giving us frequent updates on the changing government guidelines at the time.

On top of this, the process of booking the trip was so fun. They gave invaluable insights about the hotels, excursions (give you two free ones!), on-island eating, etc. You can really trust Pacific for Less through this entire process. I would totally recommend!

My husband booked our 2 week honeymoon at St. Regis Bora Bora through Pacific For Less, and it was an absolute dream!! Literally perfect weather (late September, rained 1 day) and amazing over water villa! Staff was top knotch! We took them up on the helicopter tour, jet ski tour, two spa days, and watersports (included). Every meal was superb. We loved venturing into the city and going to the markets and black pearl shops. Overall, a fantastic trip and we would LOVE to do it again someday!!

Some background. My wife and I had used PFL back in 2015 for our trip to Moorea. They were great back then and that trip went off without any issue.

For our planned March 2020 trip to Bora Bora, we planned to use PCL again, but I also got quotes from a few other agencies and from Costco - the latter has been making a big push, it seems, into travel.

Reason we selected PCL for March 2020:
- service and responsiveness. Claudia and her team priced a lot of different options for us. Fly on one day vs another. Overnight or mid-day flight. LAX vs SFO as gateway, etc. I didn't realize what a big deal this was until I tried to do the same with Costco. Costco doesn't "save" the pending quotes, so each time I wanted to try a new option, it would be a new call center person and I'd been starting from scratch.
- cost. PCL was not the cheapest. Costco was about $200 or so less, but when given our total cost, this was about 1.5% of the budget. The point above was worth that very modest extra cost plus the personal service has value to me.
- comfort with past experience. We had used them before, they still had good reviews on Trip Advisor and there was no reason to not use them again.
- accuracy. I found that PCL's final documents always match what I agreed to. No hidden stuff, no bait and switch, no errors.

Why I'll recommend PCL to anyone:
COVID happened! We were supposed to depart from the US on 15MAR (a Sunday) and travel restrictions were just starting to take hold. French Polynesia was adjusting their entry rules and overall there was just lots of uncertainty. My wife and I on Thursday had made the decision that if travel was allowed, we would go. I had a brief email exchange with Claudia on Thursday as PCL was sending frequent updates to their clients to keep them informed.

Friday, we changed our minds. I sent PCL a note and within 30 minutes they were calling me back to begin adjusting things. Before the end of the day, the entire trip had been moved to March 2021 and the hotels arranged. Since the flights could not be booked that far out, PCL committed to getting them booked and they did that in early April 2020.

No charge, no change fees, nothing! Technically, I had cancelled non-refundable airfare including the inter-island airfare and PCL made it work. This was about the best outcome I could have possibly imaged when having to cancel a trip to paradise. And they did it in a day. I can't even begin to imagine what it would have been like if I was trying the Costco call center on that Friday. The internet was buzzing with horror stories from all the travel companies and their hold times.

In summary, I was happy with PCL in good times. I'm a permanent fan of them for how they handled what we all hope is a once-in-a-lifetime scenario.

AMAZING HONEYMOON!

Pacific For Less helped us plan the PERFECT honeymoon to Moorea, Bora Bora, and Tikehau. They helped us with awesome deals and add ons that other travel agents couldn't provide.

What an amazing atoll -- completely different from Moorea and Bora Bora as you are in the middle of no where and it is SO incredible. This is off the beaten path and true French Polynesia!
