Writing a review for Tommee Seaton at the Watford branch of Palmers Motors was extremely helpful, polite and professional to deal with when buying our car. Carole and Steve Cannon

Posing as a "private seller" with just a mobile number, despite clearly operating as a trade business on AutoTrader. Living 50 miles away, I asked for a simple walkaround video of the vehicle before making the trip—a standard request in 2026. Instead of basic customer care, I was rudely told to "try elsewhere." Zero manners, zero professionalism, and a complete lack of basic courtesy. Save yourself the wasted trip and look elsewhere.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. My company is at the beginning of a warranty claim with them and the manager Paul Hill is not returning our emails, just one brief email saying to "contact the manufacturer ourselves" none of our questions have been answered at all and our follow up email has been totally ignored? Our contract is with the dealership not the manufacturer, even it it wasn't, common courtesy of a reply would be good, among our questions was for the email address of the Managing Director of Palmer's, Danny Palmer as we want to escalate our complaint, and not even that has been sent to us. I have always found their customer service very poor, they never have a loan car for servicing unless you want to wait months, they hold hardly any spare parts, I got an original part myself quicker than they could all the way from Korea, they did not even have stock of a light bulb we needed at one time, I run a company and know exactly what good customer service is and they fall very short.
This poor customer service stems from the top, because when we bought our vehicle and took our other vehicle in to be appraised, the used car manager sent the salesman out to take pictures to then show him, it was so belittling to the salesman in front of me, instead of walking 20ft to have a look himself, I would never treat a member of my staff like that! No wonder the customer service is so poor as staff moral must be very low to be treated in such a manner.
Buy your car somewhere else!

Appalling I’d advise anyone not to buy a car from here they are terrible quality and customer service is disgusting that is even if you get to speak to speak to someone good luck with that! Do not get a car from here!

These guys tried to sell me a used car with the double of miles they claimed and with an outstanding finance recorded. Thank god for history vehicles checks! Avoid these scammers!

Was very happy from the service we received from this company, professional and not pushy. Staff were all polite and friendly, would recommend buying a car from here

Seriously avoid this garage especially on mobility they are con artists
Tried to charge my brother £500 pounds extra for his mobility car after he gave them his grant of £7000. Mobility confirmed this should not have happened.
Staff are also rude and unhelpful.
Luckily another garage did not charge this and his application went smoothly.
Also old guy in waiting area said he bern waiting nearly 4 hours for his service

I have come back to Peugeot as I love the cars and had such an amazing experience first time around with the now Sales Manager, Dan. Ola was patient and helpful and I couldn’t be happier with my lovely 3008!

Today as requested by mail and confirmed over the phone. I took my Motability car to Palmers Watford for their requested service. Only to be told it is too early! But Palmers contacted me and confirmed by phone but the irritated man in service wanted to have one up on me by berating me saying” I should know when the service is due as I drive it so would be obvious” it is a 45 minute each way drive to Watford but he was not interested in my wasted time, fuel and earlystart to be there by 8am again requested. I have a Motoability car because I’m disabled and things aren’t easy but I do not need to be treated like a child and sent away as though it was my fault. It certainly was not. The Palmers group take great pride in advertising how long they have been in business and how they have superior customer service. Today proved what utter contempt they show and “ Motability won’t pay us so you will have to come back again” But Palmers contacted me and confirmed everything. I feel abused and distressed by their actions and hope that no one else receives such negativity. Palmers Watford, well done you NOT! But I guess Mr Grumpy is very pleased with himself.

Popped in to see Fabio in the Fiat service section on a query for my mother’s Fiat Panda and a recall he was brilliant straightforward and exceptional good to see in a car dealer ship these days.

Helped my daughter get a new car from palmers watford ola was so helpful couldn't do enough for us very friendly

I had a great experience getting my car thanks to Ola. I wasn’t sure what I was looking for at first, but Ola took the time to understand what I needed and guided me through the options without any pressure at all. Tried to charge me £147 to change a dash board light bulb (which costs less than £4). Queried this extorionate cost and it was reduced by 50%. Still too much! The work was marked as 'urgent' (even though I had pointed out it needed changing). I have not been left with a feeling of trust so walked away. Would not recommend.

I bought a used car from Palmers. Mario the sales guy was very helpful leading up to the sale and continued to be helpful with post sales advice.
