Great webinar about neurodiversity. Just enough detail to maintain an overview/ breath and gain a general understanding.

Unlocking potential
Unlocking potential: a guide to recruiting and supporting neurodiverse talent. Though this was a helpful and informative session, it went too quickly for a neurodivergent person to keep up. I would suggest moments for digestion of info, and to warn when the screen will move on to the next slide.

Genes, DNA and Stress..explained!
I found this presentation very easy to understand and very informative. It drew the link between genes and how our DNA can be affected by stress. The presenter provided information that was easy to understand and highlighted the importance of lifestyle to managing stress in our lives. Excellent!

Really well presented
Really well presented, the information was easy to understand and linked directly to the impact the elements contributing to stress may have on us. It also provided useful counter measures to relieve/minimise stress that is encountered. Very informative and bite size in nature.

Very Informative
An excellently informative and well researched webinar on Ovarian Cancer by Laura Jordan who seemed very knowledgeable. Really interesting to learn that transactional/buying behaviours can indicate this cancer.

ToHealth.....Brilliant!
Big shout out to Laura Jordan of ToHealth for organising the PMA for myself and many more people. The Executive PMA provided by ToHealth is another level and I’d highly recommend this investment. This assessment covers everything from a lifestyle assessment, blood analysis, cancer screening and so much more! My assessment confirmed that my cholesterol has climbed up again and even after some lifestyle changes, I’ve now ended up on statins. I wouldn’t have know how high this was if I hadn’t had a PMA with ToHealth. Thanks again!

Good informative session, not overly neurodiverse individual friendly
Good session, lots of information, however as a neurodiverse individual myself I found the pace of the session too fast to keep up with. For ND individuals with auditory processing issues, it is difficult to make sense of both what is on the slides whilst trying to listen to what is being said as there were not enough contextual clues within the information in relation to the words being said and the slides were moved on too fast.
That being said there was lots of information on available types of technologies to assist in the workplace. But was a very brief skimming overview.

There's a great deal of useful information here, but perhaps an hour long session would be better. We formed the impression that the presenter had a lot more that they wanted to say on several of the topics. I especially appreciated the focus on inclusivity, workforce culture, and making the most of the advantages people with various neurodivergant condition bring to the table.

Excellent - knowing HDL & LDL readings was life changing
Excellent access to having the full breakdown of Cholesterol done, blood pressure, height, weight etc etc. No speech from the nurse taking the bloods/measurements about your current lifestyle but a few little areas you can adopt new habits in. For me I had a melt down as I've always been ahead of the curve re heart disease / diabetes as both run side by side in my immediate and extended family. I already knew I needed to lose weight and I'm 50 this year too. I have no signs of diabetes, my heart is very healthy and blood pressure is normal/good - but I do have 3 disabilities which physically affect what exercise I can do and how I do the exercise too.
The nurse then hit me with the bomb shell that my HDL (good Cholesterol) was 0.9 and for a woman of any age it should be 1.2 but nearing the menopause it should be 1.4 as the lack of estragon / other hormones being made by the body as the menopause progresses for the next 10yrs is what the body uses to lubricate everything, even our hear values - so this was a huge wakeup call as I'm already heading into Menopause.
I went home - hit rock bottom for a week, ate all the rubbish I could then seriously put time into studying how to increase my HDL as I've never been a lover of fish. Once I got how to improve my HDL into my head I was ready............ all the cupboards were emptied of processed foods, jars, cans, all white products, convenience foods from the freezer and so much more stuff than I can mention here (donated to friends and family). I then went on line to Zero Bulk Waste and order everything that I could which has been recommended to eat (pulses, nuts, legumes, wholewheat pasta/rice/quinoa/couscous, oats) and it was delivered to my door in a huge box a few days later - none of that going round the supermarkets as I would have been tempted to get my 'old lifestyle' shopping instead. Salmon purchased and put in the fridge and found ingenious ways to cook it without it being 'too fishy'.
I'm now nearly 3 weeks into my NEW-LIFESTYLE and other than a family funeral (buffet) I have had no cheese, no saturated fats, no sugars, no sweeteners, no processed drinks, no chips from the chipshop, no crisps but I HAVE had a rainbow of fruits/veg everyday (10 not 5 portions), using Avocado Oil instead of Olive Oil to increase my HDL and now mix Avocado's mashed up in to rice/pasta/mashed potatoes etc.
It's been a lot of change but I'm reaping the reward for looking after myself as I'm now 13lb down from when I started - I've not been hungry AT ALL and I can honestly say that the trigger to start this lifestyle change was definitely because of my 'free workplace health check' which my organisation had paid for.
If only a few people make these sorts of changes it can only be a positive for the organisation who they are employed by.
Thanks you ToHealth for giving me the finer readings of Cholesterol, the why's about the HDL levels and the triggers to aim for to change the level and increase it.

Very educative and informative session. The delivery was well paced too. I have left the session with more awareness but also with a few questions which I will be passing on. To be honest, everything that has been said will apply to all characteristics with just a few specific related points. Thanks
