Poor experience when reporting faults

Reported a faulty charger which has been out of use for well over 1-2 months now, to be told 'we're aware but we can't tell you when it'll be fixed.'
Cannot believe companies like this who win activity in public/council car parks don't have SLAs in place for repair and re-commission times.

Thank you for your review. Sorry to hear you have had some issue with your local charger.

To clarify the situation, ParkRecharge provides a remote software and support service to the council. In this case, we do not provide maintenance and repair services, this is provided by a 3rd party that the council contract directly. 

As part of our support service, we automatically notify the council and their maintenance provider as and when their chargers go offline or experience faults. We also log and forward any direct reports that come from users to the relevant parties to emphasise the need to resolve. Additionally, our network managers hold regular catch-up meetings with maintenance providers to chase for updates on outstanding issues so that our support team can update users whenever possible.

Unfortunately, in this case the maintenance provider has attended the site but due to the manufacturer leaving the UK market they are having difficulty sourcing the replacement part needed to resolve the issue - the council are aware and the maintenance provider has operated within their SLA agreement.

Our team will continue to chase the maintenance provider for updates and support resolution of the problem in any way we can remotely.

Much better with an RFID card!

Disgusting exploitation

Had to pay 10 pounds to pay for the privilege of charging my car up in a corporate building after being given advice from the companies customer care team that this would be the best method of loading credit on

Apologies you are not happy with your experience using Park & Recharge. We operate chargers based on the owners requirement which normally requires users to pay for usage.

Update: Sorry for the confusion around this issue. RFID cards are not mandatory to use on our system as you can start and stop charging sessions through the Park & Recharge app. Our support team often recommend RFID cards as an optional alternative start method for users that prefer not to use the app each time they plug in. If you would like to return the card and request a refund, please contact the support team on support@parknrecharge.net.

Apologies for the delay in the RFID card reaching you. We generally expect RFID's to arrive with the customer within 2-3 working days from the point of being dispatched - I have just checked our logs and can see a card was dispatched to you on the 14th, the morning after the order was placed.

Hopefully the card will arrive before the end of the week but if it has not arrived by Monday 25th, please contact the support team on support@parknrecharge.net and we will dispatch a replacement.

Very reliable EV Car Charging

I have used the Hubleon/ParkRecharge EV charger weekly in my local council carpark for over a year.

It has constantly given a first class charging experience. In the early days I needed to report a fault, which was rectified quickly, and since then there has never been a problem.

Obviously this 7Kw charging point is never going to be a rapid charger, but by arrangement with the council, the price per kilowatt is similar to what one pays at home, and therefore much cheaper than a forecourt. If other cars connect, it does mean that charging times increase. That's the only drawback.

The customer support is first class. They pick up, listen and act.

Write to your council and insist on a Hubleon/ParkRecharge charger.

Apologies for the delay in the RFID card reaching you.

I have just checked our logs and can see a card was dispatched to you on the 17th, the day the order was placed. We would normally have expected the card to have arrived by now so there is a chance it may have been lost in the post. If the card is not received by the end of the week, please contact the support team on support@parknrecharge.net and we will dispatch a replacement.

RFID cards are not mandatory for using the chargers at your work place so you are still able to use your credit to start and end charging sessions from the app in the meantime.

Alternatively we can also issue a refund for the credit and card if preferred.

If you need support with using the app to start, issuing a replacement card or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact our support team over the phone or via email for help. Your workplace has a dedicated phone line which we do not post online but the number can be found in the contact us section of the app as well as on the chargers themselves.

*Update: Hi Mark, just wanted to follow up - I can see you received and used your RFID card last week Apologies again for the delay in this reaching you. If you have any other issues please contact the support team directly on support@parknrecharge.net.
