The seeds I ordered spouted every one so far also ordered rubus 'jewlel'raspberry plants was concerned because roots were not in anything to keep them moist but put them in water for about half a day and planted them just checked yesterday to my surprise they have buds on unusual to get fruit first year but maybe not for this variety

I ordered different seeds from them and the overall germination rate was very poor. The worst ones were the super sugar snap peas: out of 30+ seeds planted, roughly 80% ended up rotting. The ones that ended up germinating looked weakly and eventually died off. In contrast, I also bought snap seeds from two other companies and the germination rate was 100% & speedy. This means that the issue was with the seeds specifically ordered from Park Seeds. I submitted a review on their website and I'm more than certain they will not be posting it publicly. I only see 5-star reviews for all their products, with several years apart.

Awful. Same problems as the others. Incomplete order was sent, no response to emails, long hold times on the phone then agent disconnects.

I placed an order with Park Seed on April 3rd for 4-100 3” Jiffy pots for a total of 400 pots. Total came to about $62.97 including $13.00 in shipping. Today I received an email saying my package was delivered “at front door” in Brooklyn, NY via UPS. I live in Oregon. So I’ve tried calling the company many times and no one answers the phone. I’ve emailed and no response. I’ve now submitted a fraud complaint with my bank and I’ll also submit a complaint with the FBI IC3 department for internet crime complaint.

Customer service is terrible. I had a billing error that I called them 4 times about. Only was corrected after I requested help from Better Business Bureau.

The selection was terrific and my Zinnia seeds arrived promptly. But, the amount of seeds from one packet to the next varied wildly. Even though the colors are different I felt the quantity should be about the same. Wouldn't you know the germination rate of the packet with the fewest seeds only had about a 60% start.

I have been using Park Seeds for about 5+ years now. I feel like their germination rate is around 60 to 80% on most seeds packets. All of my orders (to date) have been filled successfully - no issues there. The reason I give Park 3 stars instead of 5...these crazy seed packets. Literally, the packets are terribly hard to read. They are so dark. Whoever came up with the seed packet design should be fired and banned (from everything).

Over the years, I have purchased a wide variety of plants and seeds. In every case the plant has died and none of the seeds have been productive. I thought it was me so I kept trying until I switched to other brands, which were successful. Don't waste your time on these subpar products - go elsewhere!

Placed my first order with this company while planning out my new rose garden at our new home. I was excited to see that they had a few varieties that I had been searching for, so I decided to place an order despite a more extravagant shipping cost for only 3 bare root plants. All items were in stock when my order was placed weeks ago. My order arrived out of the blue (no tracking information provided) a couple of days before the weekend, and I was excited to get my plants into the ground considering how much time had passed since first placing my order. As much as they were not in the best shape and arrived in a damaged box, the thing that really frustrated me is that one of the items from my order was missing entirely. I reached out to the company to nicely ask if and when the item I ordered could be expected to arrive, or see if maybe it had fallen out of the box in transit. They informed me that I was contacted about the missing item (this never happened) and told me the decision was made to ship the order even though it was now an incomplete order. Considering the outrageous shipping cost, I would have canceled the entire order if given the opportunity had I known. Customer service was not understanding or helpful in the slightest which was unfortunate as I am looking to order more plants in the future for the garden. I will be looking elsewhere after this experience.

I have been ordering from Park Seed for years and have always been happy. Not sure what is going on this year but I placed my order in January. At the end of April I received an email: "We regret to inform you that several items on your order is no longer available". 1) How is it no longer available when I ordered in January? 2) Because it took 3 months to tell me that my order had been cancelled I can't purchase the seeds elsewhere because by now everything is sold out. I sent them 3 emails asking this question and never heard back. They have lost a customer.

I bought a calla lily Odessa from this site and was really excited to receive it. When I received the bulb it was covered in green mold and activated my allergies immediately. The bulb was squishy and molded down to the core. I emailed this company and told them that I would like a refund. The person (Guillermo) apologized that my bulb did not do well in my garden and offered to send another bulb. First, I never planted the bulb and never said that I had. And second, I never asked for a second bulb, I said I wanted a refund. I would use the refunded money to shop elsewhere.

I then called a customer service rep about getting a refund. She sounded uninterested and mean. Eventually, she understood that I wanted a refund and said that she would process it. I never got a confirmation for a refund. And now, here I am, a week later, with an open case on PayPal waiting for the company to respond.

I do not recommend this place to ANYONE. I wish I would have looked up the reviews before purchasing anything. You are better off finding a local nursery, or if you have to shop online, shop at Holland Bulb, American Meadows, or Eden Brothers.

Corn seed had less than 20% germination, poor seed quality!

Had an issue with seeds. They responded quick along with a refund. I've bought products last year with great results so kind of bummed this year it didn't work out.

After following up with the company and providing my feedback the comany stood behind their product and resolved the issue so at this point I no longer have an issue with Wayside Garden or Park Seeds
I received the two cheer drop trees for $29.95 each and
$19.00 shipping for a total of 77.54 and wow was I surprised. These trees look like a very very small Christmas dinner table decoration.
I emailed the company and followed up with a phone call before ordering and they responded by saying the plant height was 18" -24" high. The plants I got were seven inches high, these so call tree could fit in a coffee cup, I took a picture of a coffee cup next to the tree so folks could see the size comparison. confirm your order details from this company, The website says Wayside Gardens, but the phone message states Park seeds.
I read a couple of reviews but did not read enough and after receiving the email and speaking to customer service rep I thought it should be fine. These are not what you see at a Walmart or home center store or what I expected, but the company made things right after a few emails, and stated they were working on improving the order process.

I ordered seed from park seeds as they received great reviews on the gardening sites I was looking at. I ordered $50.00 worth of seeds, which was pricey, but you get what you pay for, right? Wrong! I planted my cold weather seeds in a raised bed garden soil temp high 50's and I have a cold frame, I'm in zone 7. At best I had a 15% germination so I tried indoor starts with the same results. I have concluded that Park Seed Company is either incompetent or a scam. I need to replant my entire garden and have lost a month thanks to them. My advice buy Burpee and avoid these guys.

I recently placed an order with Park Seed for 2 packs of seeds. They wanted to charge me what they called an upcharge fee of $20 in addition to regular shipping charges and the total of order came to $35 for just two packs of seeds. I do realize shipping is more because I live in Alaska. I have ordered online from numerous companies including seed companies and I have never even heard of an upcharge fee. Why do they have to over charge people in Alaska? The last I heard we are still part of the USA.

Timely first class mail delivery. I ordered 3 times from Park Seed, all seed orders, and I'm pretty satisfied. No problem with seed germination if used within the same year. The celosia and marigold varieties had excellent and fast germination, close to 100%. There are other varieties of flower seeds I planted the following year but they did not do well. I did not refrigerate them so maybe that's why. They have a good selection of dwarf varieties for my tiny garden space. Prices have gone up, and quantity of seeds per packet reduced. This motivates me to shop for cheaper seeds at the big box home improvement stores. Would be nice if Park Seed offer $2.99 flat rate shipping all the time for seed purchases. Their pricey shipping rates have had prevented my purchases in the past. They are still my favorite place to shop for hard-to-find varieties of flowers seeds. Great info on growing on both their website and catalogs.

Living in Florida I like to plant flower displays for the Holidays. With that in mind, part of my seed order with Parks included seed for Burgundy Star Easy Wave petunias. Beautiful plants and set out December 2nd, and a week and a half later they started blooming. All of the seed packs must have been mislabeled as they were all purple and NOT the red and white star, thus ruining my display for Christmas.. After two e-mails to PArks not a word from them about this issue. I am sure they had to be aware of the problem long before now as most gardeners would have planted their seeds many months ago, and would have reported this by now. Parks certainly does not stand behind their true to type seed guarantee.

Horrible germination, equally bad service. When I asked for suggestions on what might be wrong they said I bought seed in Nov so they are not able to replace or reimburse me. Guess I should plant in December in Massachusetts? Offered me no advice on what might be wrong. Stay away from this company.

i ordered zinnia and cosmo seeds. about half the cosmo seeds greminated. of the half that germinated they bloomed at 4 inches tall. their website is so unhelpful they might as well not have one at all. you cant reach them by phone(always closed) the machine tell you to go to their website.. i went to the web site cant ask a question on live chat or contact us. does anyone know if i should snip the flowers off so they would continue to grow??
