My sister and I paid $506 towards an electric bill to be paid through the services about a week ago with no further communication... today our power was disconnected and upon checking it was still stating the bill was scheduled to be paid ... i did email them to cancel the payment.. no further communication

Unetheical and crooked company


I had an extremely disappointing experience with PayLaterr and would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

I paid $500 with the understanding that they would promptly pay my power bill and allow me to repay the balance through installments. At no point during the initial transaction was I clearly informed that there would be a delay in payment.

Only after they received my funds did they inform me that they could not pay the bill for up to 30 days and that there was no way to expedite the process. This completely defeated the purpose of using their service, especially since my power was at risk of being shut off—something they were fully aware of.

When I requested a refund due to their inability to deliver the service as expected, I was refused. Their response was dismissive and unhelpful, offering no viable solution and no accountability.

This experience raises serious concerns about transparency and business practices. Customers rely on services like this during urgent financial situations, and failing to clearly disclose critical limitations upfront is unacceptable.

I have since disputed the charge with my bank, but in the meantime, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this service read the terms very carefully and consider alternative options.

We take customer concerns seriously, but we also need to clarify the facts of this situation. At the time of your transaction, the terms of service—including processing timelines, refund timeline, chargeback, payment processing etc —were presented and agreed to prior to payment being completed. Our service does not guarantee immediate same-day bill payment in all cases, and this is disclosed during the process.
After your payment was submitted, you contacted us requesting a refund and we initiate a refund but you subsequently filed a dispute with your bank. More importantly, once a dispute is initiated, the funds are immediately withdrawn from our account by the financial institution as part of their investigation process. Because of this, we are no longer in possession of those funds and are unable to issue a separate refund. Doing so would result in a duplicate refund—one through the dispute process and another directly from us. We strongly encourage you to continue working directly with your bank to resolve the dispute THAT YOU FILED, as they now control the outcome and final determination of the funds.
We remain committed to transparency and encourage all customers to review the full terms of service prior to completing any transaction to ensure the service aligns with their needs.

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY. I was scammed out of $619.98. Call the complaint with BBB they responded and said they issue a refund. Disputed transaction with my Bank Chime Financial claim was denied. Due that I closed my bank with them because they do not protect their consumers. I paid for a service that never got rendered and they just walked away with my money. I'm afoul a small claims on this company because I don't think it's right to take money from people.

The customer filed a dispute with her bank while also requesting a refund, which may result in a duplicate refunds. As outlined in our terms and conditions, once a dispute is initiated with the bank, we are unable to process an additional refund because the disputed amount is immediately withdrawn from our account. We recommend allowing the bank dispute process to proceed to resolution.

Does anyone work at this supposed company

Wanted to pay a credit card bill. I put it to be paid by February 27th 11 days in advance. Paid paylaterr ok February 15th. Fast forward to the 27th no payment has been made, I check the bill details and it says canceled. I recieved no notifications at all about it and have yet to recieve a response about it. Now I'm waiting on a refund that still has not come or been initiated. The website still says that the payment is pending while the bill has been canceled. Paylaterr if you see this you need to refund my money!!

I used this service in December for a…

I used this service in December for a BASIC subscription and a 24 hour expedited bill payment. The expedited service was never completed and the bill was not paid within the stated timeframe.

I contacted customer service multiple times and initially received no response. When the company eventually replied, they said my emails went to spam and asked for additional information. Due to the lack of communication, I requested a refund instead.

The company later told the BBB that a refund was issued, but they never confirmed this to me directly and then stopped responding, while still sending marketing emails. I ultimately had to escalate the issue with my bank.

This is a scam company.

Because the information provided could not be validated, the request was denied and no bill payment was processed.

If I could give them a zero I would

If I could give them a zero I would. My bill was never paid. I reached out to customer service several times after being told that my refund have been issued. It’s over 30 days and I haven’t received any refund. I’ve sent several emails about the refund. This is so frustrating because they know they didn’t pay thr bill for me and they will not give my refund.

I believe I have been subjected to a scam!

I believe I have been subjected to deceptive practices in the course of using their service.

Despite being assured that my refund request was granted, I have yet to receive any reimbursement, even though more than thirty days have passed—the timeframe clearly stated in their company policy. To make matters worse, when I reached out to your customer service team for assistance, I was unjustly called a scammer. Before that they claimed their records showed I filed a dispute with my bank,which I did not! I believe that was a tactic to delay given my refund!This is both unprofessional and deeply concerning.
In the meantime, I don't see any refund processing at all!
