After years of working in a corporate role unrelated to travel, I've made a decision to join Travel Counsellors. To say I was nervous would be an understatement! However, my experience with the TC Head Office team has been very positive. They've been nothing short of supportive and helpful. I'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Julia, Jocie, Kerry, Cathy (a fellow TC and mentor), and a special shout-out to Kristina, who is an absolute superstar. Your hard work, patience, and enthusiasm have made this transition so much smoother.

The training provided is rigorous and comprehensive. Once your business is up and running, the support doesn't stop there. The business coaching team continues to guide you, and each new business owner is paired with a mentor. Additionally, there are numerous opportunities for further development through seminars, take-over days, supplier events, and a large, welcoming community of established TCs who are more than willing to share their knowledge and support.

I genuinely believe that Travel Counsellors are invested in the success of each individual business—after all, the more successful you are, the better it is for everyone involved.
My only piece of advice is to thoroughly research your own area and speak with other TCs to gain insights into the business. Some regions of the UK already have well-established TC businesses, so it might be challenging if you're operating within the same communities or networking groups.

From the moment I made my initial enquiry with Julia, to the point my business went live - I have never had a moment's doubt. TC are truly a professional outfit. But it's more than that, there is a true sense of support and community that I've never experienced previously. Everyone genuinely wants you to do well! Academy was busy, a lot to learn, but Kristina and Josie were so kind, patient, and funny! I never felt overwhelmed and was always encouraged to ask questions. This was truly a life changing decision for me, and I am so glad I took the opportunity!

It's a very comfortable environment where you learn a lot in a short period of time but also feel like you can ask any questions. The initial onboarding process was very professional and honest, making sure we were a good fit for each other. You'll be shocked (in a good way) at how big and efficient the support systems are for the TCs.

I was made to feel welcome from the first contact, the training team and everyone are all fab and there every step of the way. The support has been amazing and I know with their support my business will be successful and I have 100% made the right decision.

From my initial call with TC to the onboarding and training my experience has been wonderful. With the support of Julia, on joining and Kristina and Josie for my training to all the business support team it has been great. I have never felt alone. The initial training was exceptional as is the ongoing training. There are so many events to be a part of and I'm looking forward to this new adventure ahead.

I do not have one bad to say about travel counsellors. From my very Initial Call with Julia I knew I had made the right decision to Join. She answered all the questions I had and put my mind at ease straight away and decided there and then I was going to Join. In my few weeks leading up to training Julia was in touch constantly giving me updates and making me feel super welcome. Even a message on my first day to wish me luck. Dawn the trainer then took over with 2 weeks training. Which was intense however she simplified everything and made us all feel so welcomed. No question was a stupid question for Dawn. From my initial call 2 months ago to now doing my first booking I have never felt so certain that I have made the right decision joining travel counsellors and I look forward to seeing what the future will bring

When I decided to join Travel Counsellors, I felt a bit apprehensive and thought it over, again and again. But talking to Julia on the video call, I found myself getting really excited about the opportunity. Julia was really informative and easy to talk to. By the end of the call, I knew this was what I really wanted to do. Now with only 2 days to my launch day, it is getting so real and achievable. Massive thank you goes to Kerry and Kristina, our tutors. Nothing is ever too much for them and they help with any queries, with smiles on their faces. If you have any second thoughts about TC, don’t. Everyone is so friendly and most of all, supportive of each other.

What an amazing company & training academy they provide. From the moment in enquired Sue was just brilliant, she was at the end of the phone for any of my questions or concerns I had before signing up & believe me I have 100’s. But nothing was too much trouble & she had the answers to all what I needed to know.
Once I started my induction training academy I realised what a great decision I made becoming a travel counsellor.
