Ordering with Perte D'ego was unfortunately not a pleasant experience. Although the shirt I ordered was beautiful and very well made, it was the customer experience that was significantly lacking. Like other reviewers have mentioned- the shipping time was long, and the customer service not responsive. Their website policy states (or did at the time that I ordered) that orders are processed within 2-4 business days of your order being placed. I placed an order on 12/13, and my order shipped on 12/27. I paid $20 for 2-day shipping, and it just arrived today, 1/3. Not as bad as some other reviewers have stated, but still much longer than expected based on the terms I read before placing the order.

I emailed customer service on 12/19 to check on my order status and did not receive a response. After not receiving a response for a few days, I messaged the brand on Instagram asking if customer service received my email. Again, no response. This really made me tense the entire waiting period between my order being placed and arriving, and made me feel less satisfied with the shirt when it arrived despite being a gift that was loved by the recipient.

I would like to note this review is edited after receiving an email from the brand after my initial, lower rated review. They made an effort to make the situation right, which was unexpected and appreciated so I’m happy to update the review.

My advice to the brand is to be more transparent about processing times since each piece is hand-made to order, and to improve customer service by responding to emails and messages. Other than that, the clothes and craftsmanship are very nice.

If you don’t mind waiting a little while for your clothes to come in, I would say this is still a good brand to order from. I believe they will continue to improve as they grow.

I ordered an item that was in stock at the end of November and paid for expedited shipping. Two weeks later contacted customer service as it hadn’t arrived and they said there was small print on the listing saying it would take 15-20 days. Then I asked to cancel the order as I needed it before Christmas, but they stopped answering my emails. Finally asked for Amex to do a chargeback because they ignored several follow up emails. Extremely poor customer service - will not be using again, and thankful that I will get a refund from Amex.

Discovered through Instagram ads, and the quality lives up to my high expectations. Gifted a shirt and it was the hit of the holiday party.

I’m always hesitant buying stuff off the internet because it’s 50/50 chance that the product you buy is actually the one you are seeing online…but Perte D’ego is the real deal. Bought two shirts both amazing quality and detailing, beautifully made and surpassed my expectations. Fast shipping and came packaged beautifully! Buy with confidence you won’t regret it. I can’t wait to wear and look forward to my next purchase!

Phenomenal product and great quality. Do read on the delivery terms being that it’s truly a made to order product. I literally get flagged down about the shirt I bought So I will Shop again.

Fantastic clothing; the design work is incredible. Now, I will say, it’s going to take a minute to get your items. This is something I understood going in. But you’ll be happy once you’re receive them.

I ordered the clothes a month ago and still have not received them even though I was given a 3-4 day shipping timeframe. Their customer service team has given delayed replies promising that the purchase I made will be sent and still have not seen anything come through. Don't shop with this store - seriously. If you've also experienced an issue like mine (which I can see there are many complaints like mine) you should report them to the better business bureau and the federal trade comission.

Patience is key when dealing with the shipping. It was initially frustrating waiting for weeks on my order, but when I received my clothes I was impressed with the quality.

Shipping was seamless and arrived before expected!

I ordered from them on June 7th. I even paid for express 3 day shipping. I was willing to be patient as this company is not located within the U.S. but after 2 weeks and not receiving even a shipping notification, I emailed them where I received a response a few days later stating my order would be shipped on Monday. Monday comes and I receive no shipping notification. I emailed them again and I was told I would receive shipping updates in a couple days. A couple days pass by and I still receive nothing. I emailed them again where they apologized and guaranteed that I would receive shipping info in 24hrs. It's been 3 days since then. I have become extremely frustrated with this company and really could care less how good the quality is at this point.

I just received my first shirt from Perte D'ego and I have to say that the quality, craftsmanship and detailing on the shirt are excellent. It has easily become my favorite shirt. My order was shipped via DHL and arrived to Chicago, IL pretty smoothly!

I ordered the silk matchbox shirt , it is such good quality and I love how versatile it is. It can be worn by both men and women. I also love how the print is very unique.

Since the brand ships from New Delhi in India and I live in the US, I was expecting shipping times to be relatively slow, but was pleasantly surprised when my order came in 3 weeks. Th brand uses sustainable packaging and produced high-quality upcycled clothing, I was impressed! I love supporting up-and-coming designers, and Perte D’Ego is certainly no exception!

Patience, patience and patience. I can’t stress this part enough. Clothing are handmade so it can take a minimum of a month to receive your package. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience. I was promised and guaranteed a ship out date and I stopped hearing from them after shirt was purchased. The website chat and email correspondence are ran by different teams which is difficult because no one in that company is on the same page. Other than that It’s a legitimate site but if you need something quick forget about it. The quality exceeds its self as its one the best. I had to call my credit card company to get my money back. But no hard feelings, just have patience with these guys.
