I am so frustrated

I am so frustrated. I really hope you actually read the reviews. I have been a paying customer for years. Old Pic Monkey is 5 stars. New Pic Monkey is HORRIBLE. Have you Beta Tested? Your lag times, click times, download speed is just awful. No more immediate download to the exact file I always use. Your new version forces me into two extra file clicks. The lag delay on choosing JPG instead of PNG is unacceptable you guys. Oh, and the worst of all is the "Touch Up Edit." I use lip tint for 100% of my photos for my business page. Your new one forces me into two extra clicks. I am so upset about this "forced change" into your new version that is clearly inferior to the version that was not broken in any way.

Don't use this company. They keep charging even after you've discountinued using the service.

They do not provide users with a method for deleting their subscription account outside of removing them from auto payment. There is no means to delete an account, and they often provide no notice of a pending subscription renewal.

I had to remove them from my automatic payment account in order to ensure I wouldn't be charged again next year. And they are slow to respond to billing complaints.

Would not recommend this company at all.

UPDATE: I have resolved my billing issue with them. The error was mine, but I stand by my statement regarding their lack of notification when a subscription renewal date is approaching. Other businesses provide that courtesy and I can only surmise they don’t so that they can continue charging.

charged me for three years without me knowing or ever using this service. i must have signed up for a free trial years ago to use the service for a quick editing task. then they charge me for 3 years!! it seems they do this to everyone. Let me tell you guys something at picmonkey. WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND AND ITS GOING TO COME BACK TO YOU FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF INNOCENT PEOPLE

PicMonkey I love you but....

PicMonkey I love your concept and I've been a paying customer for years. The one star is for this new version, not for PickMonkey as a product. I don't think you beta tested this new version very well. If I have a picture that I am refining in say the beauty section, there is no clear way to get back to the landing page so I can pick the next round of edits. I've found this to be true on my laptop and my desktop (windows). You also are not giving customers the ease of using the old version. I don't know why that is, it's impossible to find the choice, though your marketing keeps insisting we're able to. Also, I can't help but wonder if PicMonkey is positioning itself as a business tool now. It seems that your FB page is geared towards bloggers and small business. Isn't most of your demographic average people? We are feeling forgotten. Throw us a bone. Thanks for refunding the accidental charge. ;)

DO NOT DO THE FREE TRIAL

Recently signed up to a one week free trial to try it out - logged onto my account today to make sure it was definitely cancelled before they charged me (after having the account for only six days) and turned out they had already charged me for a full year membership. Being a student - this is a lot of money to me. They did not make this clear and it's already been taken from my bank account. Very sneaky and feel a bit tricked by the company. I've accidentally forgotten to cancel a free trial before (amazon prime) and got charged and learned from that to not forget to cancel things before free trials end (however amazon prime were great customer service and cancelled/refunded it within 24 hours of me contacting them). Please be aware that 'one week free trial' does not mean one week. Very disappointed as I was considering using this platform in the future.

This is totally strange to see this - we do offer a one week trial, as in 7 days totalling 168 hours - that's how our system is set up, it's really not possible to be charged earlier - also we do offer a cooling off period so you can request a refund no problem. I need my money back

I need my money back! I got $173.88 AUD dollars taken out of my account without any notice from PicMonkey after the 7 day free trial.
It was never made clear me that I’m going be paying an annual membership after the free trial, it was only showing that I would be given the option to sign up for a monthly subscription that’s either basic or pro.
I have cancelled my subscription now and right away I can’t use any of the features in picmonkey even with a payment made until September 2021!
I can’t believe this, such a dishonest company. I need my refund!!!! Someone needs to get in touch with me!

Hi, very sorry for the bother you've had and the bill shock. We outline from the very start the cost of the sub you pick and date you will pay, once the trial ends. Sorry this wasn't clearer, we don't say anything about an option once the trial starts. It's very specific messaging, that the fee will be taken unless the sub is cancelled prior to the end of the trial. Also you retain full access to the site for the time you've paid even if you cancel the subscription renewal option.

Picmonkey used to be a great program…

Picmonkey used to be a great program years back. Now it is nothing but frustration. Constantly getting "trouble in paradise" error messages, designs do not update (for days sometimes). First time I contacted customer support it was supposedly my computer and then things just magically worked again. Second time they are telling me it is my computer again. I can work five times faster in Canva with NO issues. Will not renew this time

Sorry to hear you've had issues. We do need to check things locally first (your computer) to make sure everything is working well. Once we do this we move onto other areas. We constantly run updates and checks on our site via multiple browsers to make sure all is working okay. When it is the likely hood is the issues are local and not wide spread. And if it is a larger issue we'll be sure to get the dev team on to figure things out.

they charged me $162.00 at the moment I signed up for trial version of 7 days they offered, I was unauthorized charge right away the moment I agreed with the offer they made to me. I've send some emails to them, but no answer received yet, also did a report of unauthorized charge in my paypal account, as well as my banking institution. This is a total scam, I hope I can resolve this problem and get to get a total refund asap. Don't even try this service, at the end there are a lot of other better services online and totally free, DON'T TRY THIS EVER!

Sorry for the bill shock. You should always get a free trial when you select that option unless you already used it up. The only other way you'd be charged right away is if you use premium features not included in the trial. But you'll get a pop up message advising you'll need to convert to a paid sub before continuing. Sorry we've not been back to you, we've a lot of queries to get through and are a few days behind. But we will be in touch.

Meh.

Was decent before the transformation from freebie features to an all-premium approach. There are better options for less money and more features.

They tell you free with your email-so you go spend 2 hours creating a collage-but before you can download your work of art-They tell you , that you have to purchase a plan. I hate these people-THEY ARE DECEIVING SLIME!!!
AND NEVER- WILL I LOOK TO SEEK WORKING WITHIN THEM AGAIN!

£128 taken with no approval!

I signed up for a free trial, and have been charge £128 for doing so, any help or suggestions?! I’ve emailed but no response, I cannot afford this right now, it’s put me past my overdraft, and behind on my bills with out even realising. Please help, and advise would be great! The money came out of my paypal. So disgusted this company can get away with doing this to people!!!!!

I had a fraudulent charge from this…

I had a fraudulent charge from this company in the amount of $120.00. I contacted them and identified the transaction as fraudulent. They showed very little interest in solving the problem. Most of their replies are by a bot. I turned the matter over to Mastercard and they are proceeding. Mastercard suggested filing a police report. Anyone else have a similar problem?

I have never signed up for PicMonkey

I have never signed up for PicMonkey. They have been charging me $7.99 for the past 2 years! Since the amount was so less, I never noticed this! My wife found out today when she was reviewing the statement line by line. Picmonkey is a scam! I do not have any email records! I will be disputing all the charges of Picmonkey with my bank

Free Trial...No Welcome Email...

I love pic monkey. I use it every week. I use it for putting words and addresses on my pictures.

so I signed up for the new Pro version trial. Like the other people in the reviews, I did not receive a welcome email or confirmation that I had signed up for the free trial. I don't want to be charged for the whole year unless I get the new tools figured out.

What can I do?
