Had the most fantastic tasting evening with Al recently! Such a great selection of wines introduced to us by an amazing host. His passion and enthusiasm for what he does and the wines we tasted is undeniable. Relaxed, informative, enjoyable experience with friends! As a red wine drinker, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the selection of white and rose wines which we also tried - well done Pieroth! My friends and I made several purchases and I've already scheduled my second tasting session with Al and friends which I can't wait for!

Had a great wine tasting evening on 26 Jul with Lewis. This was a gift experience bought by my sister who is also already a Pieroth convert. He arrived promptly and described how we were going on a journey of wine exploration and how we did! Starting with some really interesting sweeter white wines that also had a dry finish we journey through Rose wines on to some luscious reds. The taste buds were certainly exercised and challenged! A lovely evening with 2 of our friends.

Last week, Gini came to our home to give a tasting to 6 of us. It was a very convivial evening. She was enthusiastic and introduced us to a wide range on unusual and interesting wines, some of them unexpected. The final wine was really unusual, being both a sweet and a "normal" wine simultaneously! Two of our number are experienced wine drinkers and have said how much they enjoyed the evening and Gini's introductions to them. Naturally, we preferred some wine to others, but all were good quality.

4 of us Had a wine tasting tonight with Colin. It was a great night, Colin had quality knowledge about all the wines he showed us and we bought a selection of our favourites. Loved the way Colin portrayed the whole evening. Great crack.

Thanks to Lewis Dudley for a great evening presentation of your wines. He was very engaging and informative and presented us with a great selection of wines. A lovely way to spend an evening with friends.

Lewis was so lovely coming into my family home for wine tasting tonight, he was pleasant and full of confidence! Making a few jokes and had a right laugh with him and the family! Thankyou again Lewis for tonight had a lovely evening :)

Had a lovely tasting experience with Al. I would definitely recommend to family/friends. It was a beautiful selection of wines that we sampled and will be placing an order in the near future. The flagship white(Blue bottle), flamboyance of flamingos, Auslaser and jamilla stood out as our favourites. Looking forward to sampling the Christmas wines later in the year

Last night was our 3rd wine tasting session with Al. It is always such an enjoyable evening and we learn something new every time! Al is so personable and really takes time to get to know us and what we like/dislike. The wines are beautiful and the communication from ordering to delivery is spot on! We look forward to our November tasting...just in time for Christmas wines! 🍷

Just had a great wine sampling evening with
Lewis. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. We enjoyed it as did our neighbour and we bought some we liked.

We had an intimate and interesting wine tasting with Colin on Monday 24th June. We were open to trying all the wine that he brought for us, even though some were not to our taste. (or so we thought) The evening was relaxed and chilled, with some surprises about our favourite wines across the night when we looked back over our tasting sheet. My usual go to wine, was not one of my favourites of the evening. Colin did not rush us at all enabling us to enjoy the wine we tasted. We did order a selection, all new or different to our usual choices. To make our evening even better, we were given a complimentary bottle as Colin left. I’m looking forward to re-tasting the wine when it arrives. Many thanks to Colin for a lovely evening.

We recently had a lovely wine tasting evening with Lisa. Her knowledge of the wines is excellent and she presents it in a relaxed and enjoyable way with no pressure selling. She knew exactly what wines we would like and I ended up buying some red when I’ve been drinking white for years. We look forward to having another fun wine tasting evening with Lisa in the future and learning more about your fabulous wines.

I’ve now been to three wine tastings with Jack being the rep at all three, he has been brilliant at all three and very knowledgeable. There was no pressure to buy any wine, however I did as it’s so good. Wine was delivered very fast no issues at all.

I went to the first wine tasting not liking red wine and now I love it, well Pieroths. Would definitely recommend to anyone as it’s a really good evening. Can’t wait until the next!

I should be clear that I never got a chance to sample the wine. This rating is based on communication and not quality of product.

Edit: please also note that the following relates to my experience between Oct 18 and Feb 19.

I was given a gift certificate for my birthday last year for a wine tasting for four. I went through the online process requesting the use of the certificate for a date on a Sunday but they emailed informing me that they only provide consultants for Monday to Saturday. This was unfortunate as the only date that my sister-in-law was in town was a Sunday; and otherwise we would be a group of three, but fair enough I supposed. So I emailed the company asking for some advice which is when I found out how terrible their communications were.

Over the first 4 months, they took an average of 29 days to respond to my emails and then they only responded to my emails after I'd sent them three. I ended up spending hours emailing them and facebook messaging them. Calling them went straight to voicemail (unless I got through to their sales department wherein they transferred me to the voicemail) and despite giving them my number via voicemail, email and facebook, they've never tried to call me. Even when they requested my available times, they wouldn't call when we'd arranged a time. At one point, they offered a refund and four months later I still I had no idea if they were doing anything about it. After months of chasing they finally gave my aunt a refund after going through several identity checking processes. What a palaver!

Again, the wine might be excellent. I'll never know.

Al gave us a great wine tasting experience, very informative and I even enjoyed red wine which I don't normally like! He knew which wine we would and wouldn't like and we all enjoyed our evening!

We had a great wine tasting session with Duncan. He knew a lot about all the wines and it was a relaxed evening. The wine we ordered arrived very quickly, but there was no pressure to buy it. I'd definitely recommend this experience.

Great evening with Al. We tasted 14 different wines, a mixture of white, red and rose and also sampled a port and a sherry. Al's knowledge of wine was vast and he is clearly passionate about ensuring that people enjoy quality wine.
Evening was an education but never dull. Would definitely recommend a wine tasting with Pieroth Wines.

Her knowledge of the Pieroth wine selection is excellent. She learnt my preferred range of wines that suit my palette very quickly and does not waste her time or mine on wine that would not appeal to me. She does not use the 'hard sell' technique but instead let's the wine sell itself. She is extremely personable and knows exactly what I need as the customer. I actually look forward to seeing her and to learning more about the new Pieroth wines - even though I often make a purchase when I really don't intend to!

I recently had a Pieroth wine tasting. The wine adviser was called Lisa and was from Liskeard.
We had a fabulous evening and Lisa’s knowledge of the fantastic wines was second to none. We purchased wine on the evening and look forward to seeing Lisa again for another fun and interesting evening.

Had 2 wine tasting evenings now and both were fantastic. Al is very knowledgeable and so personable.
The wine is second to none and I wouldn’t buy any other now. Top class service!
