I am helping my daughter to sell her property and she signed a contract with Pittis after they were fairly enthusiastic about their ability to sell. They persuaded her to accept the ‘modern method of auction’ and not to update the property as planned. This made the property unappealing to the average home buyer as they would need to pay a huge non refundable reservation fee - about £15000- on top of the selling price. This system might work for builders and developers who want tatty properties to improve but my daughter’s property definitely doesn’t fit this category. Then there was the expected recommendation from the auction company to reduce rhe starting price by about 20%. Pittis themselves have consistently ignored emails and phone calls and never returned any calls when asked. I can honestly say that they have been totally abysmal.
