We had a fantastic experience with our mortgage advisor, Craig, throughout the process of buying our first home. One of the biggest advantages for us was how flexible the meetings were, with appointments organised around our schedules. With both of us working full time and having a toddler, this made a huge difference and really helped reduce the stress of the process.

As first-time buyers, we had no idea what to expect, but Craig explained everything clearly and broke things down in a way that was easy for us to understand. We never felt overwhelmed or unsure about what was happening.

Communication was always timely, and Craig’s knowledge was clearly up to date, which gave us a lot of confidence throughout the process.

We would highly recommend Craig to anyone looking for a mortgage advisor, and we would also like to say a special thank you to Lucy for all of her support along the way.

Overall, I had a positive experience, though outcomes can be subjective depending on whether you receive a mortgage offer. One important point to note is that the £800 application submission fee is non‑refundable if no offer is made. It’s essential to carefully read and understand what you are signing before proceeding. I believe Planet Mortgages could make this clearer in their advertising, as many brokers operate on a “no win, no fee” basis, which sets different expectations

From the initial call to selecting the best mortgage and obtaining insurance, Craig has been an excellent adviser: great communication, high-level of expertise and a sincere desire to provide the best customer service. I must also mention the great work done by Lucy and everyone else at Planet Mortgages. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

I am writing this review even though I have not used them for mortgage. I had a great experience with Samantha, who really helped us to find the different mortgages available for my situation. She was very helpful and timely in her responses. Unfortunately, I went ahead with another mortgage broker due to costs and other personal issues, but I would highly recommend Samantha and Planet Mortgages to other buyers.

Frankie and the team have been absolutely incredible!

As a FTB, I was very nervous and anxious about the whole buying/mortgage process but Frankie and the team made me feel at ease from start to finish and made the experience a lot less stressful for me.
