From the first phone call to the final letter Rachel was professional, thorough, supportive and quick to turn things around.
She was able to reference policies and regulations relevant to the application and demonstrate the factual and personal impact on us, as neighbours to the proposed extension and dormer conversion.

For the ordinary person, the planning process is a maze. Planning Voice acts as a guide through the twists and turns of that maze.

Planners use their own methodology and language for structuring applications. Developers have the time and money to employ their own planning experts – experts who speak that language, and can use their expertise to present applications in the best possible light. In the process, the people impacted by planning proposals can easily find themselves outgunned. The great thing about Planning Voice is that it redresses the balance, giving you an opportunity to have your case heard, on equal terms.

When I first realised that I would need to submit a planning objection, I was surprised how hard it was to find professional help. I contacted several of the local planning consultancies, and was turned away by all of them. The explanation given was that they had promoted schemes in my area, and so had a conflict of interest. A lot of the time, however, it felt to me like they were instinctively on the side of the developers (who provide most of their work), and unenthusiastic about the hassle of dealing with lay customers.

Against this background, Planning Voice was a welcome change. Their website made it clear that their service was aimed at the individual who is impacted by a planning application. They replied very quickly when I completed their online form, responding thoughtfully to all of the issues which I thought were important (as well as warning me off some of the things that the planning authorities would not take into account). They produced a professional letter of objection within two days, as they had promised would be the case. And then they stayed in touch over the following days (as the deadline for submissions approached), dealing patiently with the follow-up questions and amendments that I suggested.

The service is excellent value for money: I would definitely recommend it.

When the planning application arrived on my doormat. I was totally at a loss as to what to do. After a google search looking for valid and acceptable reasons to object, Planning Voice came up on the feed and after reading reviews I though this is the company to contact.
Rachel was quick to respond to my request and said she could help with writing a planning objection letter. She wasn’t wrong, the letter was comprehensive, well informed and an enormous amount of research had been done to support the objection, including quoting Policy context. She listened to my reasons behind the objection and made sure they were included in the letter along with points I hadn’t even though about.
She clearly has a handle on planning objections and the various scenarios that fit for each objection. Evening emails from me, when I would have considered the office to be closed, were answered immediately.
I was about to leave for holiday and was worried the objection wouldn't be submitted before the deadline, but Rachel took that on for me and submitted the objection to the Planning Department. You have no idea how grateful I am to Rachel for "being there" whilst I was away.
I am happy to say that the planning application has been rejected and we can rest easy for a while.

Rachel is a credit to her profession. I cannot express enough her dedication, understanding, knowledge and professionalism. An example, I sent an email at 2045hrs on a Saturday expecting a reply Monday PM, a reply within 5 mins, revisions sent back by 2130 hrs. Not many committed people around like that anymore. I did a little research into planning policies locally, compiled a list of possible objections and sited other applications etc which help my case,I spoke to Rachel who understood my situation and provided me with a well informed objection letter which we tweaked a number of times which was then submitted. Result :- the application was withdrawn. A revised application is sure to follow but I am reassured in the knowledge that Rachel's help and expertise is on hand.
