Be careful because they enter in a subscription

I made ordered Superfood Softchews on April 4 and now Pluto says that I enlisted in a subscription because I got a discount. I was not aware of that because it was nowhere mentioned in the order confirmation.
No use to try to cancel the subscription because they don't answer to emails. I will not order anything from this company as I feel to be cheated

PLUTO.CO IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY AND A SCAMMER

I placed an order on March 25th and today is April 5th and I haven't received my order. I've called the customer service number over 25X at different hours and days and no one ever answers. THIS IS TOTAL FRAUD AND A SCAM. IF THE HAPPENED TO YOU, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TAKE LEGAL ACTION BY CONTACTING A LAWYER TO SUE THEM, WRITE TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND IMMEDIATELY POST YOUR SITUATION ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA

Don’t buy this product

So I order Pluto pets to try and of course if you order more than one it’s cheaper. So I did because I have 3 small dogs. The price is $90 approximately. I’m trying to get my pets to eat them. Absolutely no success. Breaking them up and putting them in with the food all different ideas … nothing was working. So I emailed their customer service department to let them know to cancel all future orders.. guess what ?? You have to establish an account now to cancel your orders. Didn’t need to establish an account to order.. really? So in the meantime they send me more product. Charge me another $90. That’s was in September. So I established “an account” to cancel my subscription. Requested to cancel future orders. Well I get an order in October and November. That’s $270 worth product my dogs will not take. So I sent those 3 packages unopened back to their office at my EXPENSE. Guess what ? They send me a package again in December. So 4 months and Iput return to sender on that package! That’s$360 in product and they finally refund me about $60. What crap. Bad customer service all the way around and product my dogs won’t eat!

Useless product/ don't respond to emails

Useless product. Will let you cancel your subscription by email one month, then completely ignore you when you ask to cancel. The phone number listed has a voice recording to send an email so you can never talk to anyone.

DO NOT get their free sample pack ... there's more to come

I ordered their free sample pack from one of their teaser ads on Facebook on 11/20/2025, Arrived Nov 26. I was not impressed. As many other products on the market it did nothing for my old dog and he did not like it.
On 12/4/25 at 2:14 AM I received this email: "Order #24757 confirmed." Of course I did not see it until about 8 am. I checked my bank and they had charged me $37.88 without my consent. No email "we're about to charge you, please update your subscription" or nothing like that, like reputable companies do.

At 8:21 AM I sent them an email with subject "NO!"
saying, "I did not order this. You people need to quit doing that. Cancel this and give me my money back."

I was informed the order had shipped, and the only thing I could do was return it unopened and I would get my money back. Well ... that was no so. Meanwhile, my mortgage payment bounced, since I had not calculated for the extra charge on that account.

I returned the package and informed them that I had done so on 12/21/2025.

Fast forward to 2/28/2026, and four more emails from me, I still have not received the refund.

UPDATED MARCH 28, 2026:

.... as would be my luck, the package got lost. I even initiated a missing mail search and provided Pluto with this information.
After some 5 or 6 emails, on March 22, 2026, I received this email: "We apologize to hear that. Let me consult our warehouse and accounting team with this. Show the claim will proceed if this was lost. Thank you for your patience.
Pluto Customer Service"
i have not heard back from them.

Note, the refund request has been ongoing since Dec 2025.

Update 5/2/2026: The post office followed up and the product was finally delivered back to their facility. I never received a refund .

Great product but unfair billing practices

I have used the Pluto soft-chew product for about 5 months and I like the quality. I think it is effective for my dog, Max. However Pluto offers teaser commercials with sneaky monthly subscriptions attached. But many companies do that. However with Pluto, it is impossible to cancel a subscription. They send and charge me for a new shipment each month despite me emailing and calling EVERY single month to cancel. I have read similar reports on the internet. It appears to be a deliberate business practice to make money. Very disappointing. Their website by the way is plutopets.co (not .com)
