Well I have to say that dealing with Powergy has been incredible. From the first contact, to Harry completing the quote, to Kiele keeping me updated with the progress and finally to the install team of Mike, Robbie and Lee... WOW!!! I just cannot say enough and it's been a pleasure dealing with everyone at the company. Yet the install guys completing a Tesla PW3, gateway and 20 panels in less than 6 hours, safe to say they Def had their Weetabix. A very neat job and cleaned everything afterwards. Many many thanks.

Spot on service, was completed in a day, 15 aiko 475 panels with Sig energy system, and already saving my bills, clean setup and would recommend to anyone.

Harry and the team from Powergy were excellent. Very fair and clear pricing. Proposed good quality panels with high output +Tesla battery. Routing of cables, battery position agreed via sketches & photos etc.

Would they travel to Somerset (around 150 miles?) - yes they would.. and did! Mutual trust assured with no deposit required. Install date fixed and team arrived as planned. Couple of hiccups were overcome - that's an important test of service. Necessitated a 2nd visit a few days later when installation was completed and commissioned. No fuss, no bother.

Superb from start to end. I spoke to 4 or 6 solar installers, the prices and payment terms varied wildly, and how professional they came across. Some of them I wouldn't want to rewire a plug... Then I found Powergy. Superb. Louise was great, provided us with a quote with a couple of options and batteries. Explained that they would do all the DNO bit before hand and that no payment was needed at all till we were happy, after the job was complete. The installer guys were great, got it all installed in a day, and how we wanted the cables etc, and were all super tidy. Solar was installed last Wednesday and I have had all the MCS stuff today, which I have passed onto Octopus wit regards to selling back to the grid. I also had a couple of questions about the Tesla app, and Louise was great and answered those questions too. Couldn't recommend more.

Great experience from start to finish. No pushy sales patter. All staff very helpful. Kept in the loop with all the stages. No payments / Deposits required upfront. All in all very happy with the Installation.

Superb experience right from the outset, I dealt with Harry who was always easy to contact, having a less than ideal for solar roof layout (long narrow depth slope & skylights) Harry really put the effort in when it came to planning the system whereas others did not, the layout Harry put forward had two extra panels over competitors layouts and looks alot better too.

Once the layout was agreed, everything was just seamless from the DNO application to the scaffolding, everything happened when Harry and Kiele said it would and without fuss.

Installation wise, a big thanks to both Lukes and Brandon who were all really polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The install is really neat, with all wires hidden.

Should also note that no payment is required until the installation is complete and running and you are happy.

Very pleased with my AIKO solar panels and Sigenergy inverter/battery/home backup system supplied and installed by Powergy 3 weeks ago. Like others, I did a lot of background and comparisons; the zero deposit contract provides confidence, the team are very professional and their pricing is the best I found. Louise and Kiele kept in touch throughout the process - scaffolding installed the day before installation, install team did a first class job in one day and the scaffolding came down within a couple of weeks. Highly recommended - & that's coming from someone who rarely writes reviews..

After doing lots of research around Solar installers, I was a bit nervous about Powergy given all the comments on Reddit. However, I can't fault them at all.

Louise has been immense as my project manager, making sure all questions were answered quickly and accurate. I was very impressed by her knowledge of the industry. She even helped me through some settings on the mySigen app to ensure it was set up correctly.

The install was equally good, can't fault the cabling at all. An old TV antenna was removed for me and all mess was tidied up at the end of the day.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Powergy for anyone else!

I found Powergy online and made an enquiry about the possibility of installing a solar and battery system in my house. The interaction was very professional and as I have been shopping around they gave a very competitive price. They did not apply pressure and gave me the opportunity to research them and do my due diligence. The installation process was straight forward, Louise was easy to reach and she communicated promptly answering any questions I had. The installers were very professional and the battery and solar panels were installed with a good aesthetic result. I would highly recommend their services.

After researching solar panels for several months and collecting multiple quotes, I found the whole process quite confusing due to the wide range of products on the market. I eventually decided on Aiko panels paired with a Tesla Powerwall 3 and Gateway system. Choosing this setup meant I could compare quotes on a true like-for-like basis. Most companies use different panels and, in reality, there isn’t a huge difference between them or in their cost — the main expense tends to be the inverter and battery.
After gathering several quotes, I came across an advert for Powergy (Terra Energi Ltd) and contacted them for a price. Louise at Powergy was fantastic from the start. I explained what I was looking for and shared copies of the other quotes I’d received. Their price for the exact system I wanted was the most competitive by far. I went back and forth with a few other companies and some were genuinely surprised at the price I’d been offered.
There was absolutely no pressure to commit. Louise actually encouraged me to do my due diligence and come back when I was ready, which I really appreciated. I’ll admit I was slightly sceptical at first given how competitive the quote was, but after some consideration I decided to go ahead with Powergy.
I asked about a deposit to secure the order and was told none was required — they would install the system and I could pay once the job was complete. That made the whole process feel very low-risk and gave me real confidence in the company.
Powergy handled the G99 application and, after a short wait, an installation date was arranged. Scaffolding went up three days before the install. On the installation day, the team arrived on time and talked me through everything. I explained my preferred cable run and they were happy to accommodate it.
During the panel installation, Mike let me know he had accidentally broken one of my roof tiles. He reassured me not to worry and immediately went to a local builders’ merchant to get a replacement and fix it properly. I was impressed by the honesty — they didn’t try to hide the issue or patch it up temporarily.
The installation took two days in total. The work was very neat and tidy, all rubbish was removed, and Mike took the time to show me how the system works. I’m already seeing small savings on my electricity and am looking forward to seeing the full benefits during peak solar months.
Overall, I would highly recommend Powergy. A very professional, honest, and competitively priced company.

I requested a quote from powergy and they responded back very fast! The quotation was the most competitive i recieved for the system (Sigenergy) they were offering. I compared on many different sites and this was the best quote recieved. Harry and Dan who I was liaising with with was very helpful and answered any questions that I had right from quotation to install. They did not ask any money upfront I had requested this after installation for peace of mind .The installation was great and was done very neatly. Would hundred percent recommend Powergy!!

Like many customers, I was initially hesitant to commit to Powergy due to a few early discrepancies I noticed during my research (company name variations, MCS registration details, etc.). This naturally made me cautious. However, Louise was absolutely outstanding in addressing every single question I had, openly and patiently, which very quickly built my confidence.

Louise designed an initial system and then worked through a large number of design changes as my understanding of solar improved. To put this into context, my original quote was around £7.5k, and I eventually chose a much larger, better-engineered system costing roughly £5k more. At no point was there any pressure, upselling, or hard sales tactics. Every change was discussed logically, explained clearly, and made solely to improve the final design and long-term performance. Louise is extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and accommodating, a real credit to the company.

One important point worth highlighting is that Powergy is actually their own worst enemy during the sales process. They don’t emphasise enough that they have dedicated staff for aftercare, system support, and billing. Knowing later that Dan exists to support app setup and system questions, and that Kiele handles payments and documentation, was hugely reassuring. This level of structure is actually one of Powergy’s strongest selling points and should be mentioned earlier to customers.

The installation experience was equally positive. Despite the installation being scheduled just after a heavy snow week, Luke and Brandon arrived on the planned day without issue. Both were friendly, professional, and clearly experienced. Luke discussed cable routes and system details with me while Brandon got started on the roof. The job was originally planned for two days but ran slightly over due to unavoidable issues, which wasn’t a problem for us at all. They returned the following Thursday, this time with Harry alongside Luke, and completed the installation and handover.

The handover itself wasn’t overly detailed, but this was entirely understandable as it was very late, extremely cold, and they’d had a long day. The key system elements and app setup were explained, which was sufficient at the time. Any follow-up questions were handled promptly afterwards. Scaffolding took a few extra days to come down, but I was kept informed throughout, which mattered far more than speed. The scaffolding team was based several hours away, so the delay was expected and communicated clearly.

Another point that may concern some people: Powergy never visited the site prior to installation. Many local installers treat this as a red flag, but in my view, it really isn’t. Everything was handled accurately through photos, videos, and remote design tools. Unless you have a particularly complex or unusual installation, an early site visit often feels more like a sales tactic than a technical requirement. In my case, the install went exactly as designed.

After installation, I was handed over to Dan, who helped with app configuration and system setup, and then to Kiele, who managed payment and paperwork. Importantly, Powergy completed the work before taking a penny, which says a lot about their confidence and professionalism. All documentation promised by Louise was provided exactly as agreed.

Overall, I’ve ended up with an excellent solar system at a very competitive price, delivered by a genuinely strong team. For anyone considering solar: do your due diligence, ask questions, and get multiple quotes but don’t fall for the “local installer” myth. Many local installers are one-person operations managing everything from sales to aftercare, and you often pay significantly more for that. In reality, most system monitoring and optimisation can be done remotely, and any physical faults are handled under manufacturer warranties regardless.

I honestly don’t see how I would have received better service by paying £5k more with a local installer or a big national name. Powergy delivered exactly what they promised.

I’d be more than happy to act as a reference for anyone considering them.

I saw an advert for powergy on Facebook, it seemed like an insane deal, originally I wanted to get a Tesla power wall but after doing my own research the thought of additional batteries led me in the direction of having a Sig energy installation, had a lot of back and forth with Harry P, he was great he went above and beyond to help reassure me of the price, explained how it breaks down and also said that I had to pay nothing until I'm happy and it's all installed. I decided to go for it and I'm glad I did, I can see immediate results. I originally wanted 10 panels and 9kw battery the installers came with 15 panels and tried their best to fit more but my roof simply couldn't fit them and this wouldn't have cost me any more so that would have been great but wasn't to be. Install was great on time, friendly, professional. Highly recommend.

Powergy installed 16 x Aiko 475w all-black panels across two elevations, along with a 10kw Sigenergy Inverter, 2 x 10kwh Sigenergy Batteries and a whole house back-up gateway. From initial quote through to install they have been great to work with, particularly Dan who did the site survey, paperwork and answered all of my ridiculous questions quickly and efficiently, and Luke who did the install single handedly over 2.5 days!
