I’m very sorry to hear that your order has not yet been received. I can see that your order was placed on Sunday and dispatched on Wednesday, following the bank holiday on Monday.

As it is currently the weekend, I’m unable to investigate this further until Monday morning. However, it is possible that DHL has experienced a backlog following the four-day Easter break, which may have caused a slight delay. Under normal circumstances, your battery would have already been delivered, so I do sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

I have also sent you an email to confirm that I am looking into this for you. Once I have more information, I will update you as soon as possible. In the meantime, I would be happy to refund your carriage costs in light of the delay.

Regarding the tracking, on this occasion your fuses were shipped directly from Victron’s dispatch centre to avoid additional stock transfers. Unfortunately, this service is not tracked, and I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

I’m sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience, particularly as you required the batteries urgently. I do appreciate how important timing was in this case.

I would like to clarify a few points regarding your order. The items you purchased were in stock within our wider UK network; however, as noted on our product pages, not all items are held on-site at our Alcester location. We do highlight this under the “Collection Available – More Info” section, where we advise customers to contact us in advance to confirm availability at a specific branch before travelling.

Your order was placed on Thursday and, under normal circumstances, we would have arranged for the batteries to be transferred to Alcester for collection the following working day. Unfortunately, due to the Easter bank holiday (Friday and Monday), our usual transfer schedule was disrupted, which meant the earliest collection date was Tuesday.

I’m also sorry that you experienced difficulty reaching us by phone and live chat. We do experience particularly high demand at times, but we recognise the importance of being accessible, especially when orders are time-sensitive, and we are reviewing this internally.

That said, I’m pleased we were able to arrange for you to collect directly from the manufacturer in Fareham as a workaround, although I appreciate this was not your original plan.
