The delivery was a bit late but I rang the company and they gave me a quick update for my delivery which I thought was great. Apart from that it's all been hunky dory The packaging was great and the food was nice and fresh because of the ice bags. The food itself tastes amazing and you can't really tell it's a healthier version because the meals taste very much like the original versions. I'll be ordering again.

Every meal had alil too much salt in them otherwise they were good.

The packaging is great and the idea is awesome. I chose the vegetarian and fish option. I just didn't like the taste, the food flavouring was too strong.

I ordered 7 meals a few weeks ago. A couple of the meals were really tasty such as; smoky fajitas and peppered steak. I found the jerk chicken, rice and peas meal quite salty, unfortunately, I had to throw some of it away. There was no variety in terms of the veg options and I found the portions to be quite small. I've used a few meal prep companies recently and although the meals are less than 500 calories the portions have been more significant.

I ordered my meals on Sunday (due to be delivered the following Thursday), however due to the BH weekend, my meals were delivered on Friday. A few issues here, it wasn't advertised on their website that there would be a delay in delivery. If I had known, I wouldn't have placed an order. I only found out about the delay when I called and emailed customer service. I was offered 10% off my next order but to be honest, I won't be ordering again.

Yodel is the preferred delivery partner for Meal Prep UK which I think is a terrible choice because my meals arrived after 9pm (their website says they aim to deliver before 9pm) and I noticed the package didn't have the food items label affixed to it. This label usually indicates to the delivery partner that the package needs to be delivered sooner rather than later. There is probably an additional cost for this which Meal Prep UK did not want to fulfil. The meal prep companies I have used previously, have this label attached to it and my meals normally arrive first thing in the morning! So the fact that my meals arrived so late in the day sans the food label really put me off.

Definitely some pros and cons here but the overall experience has put me off ordering again!

We had a problem with the delivery, in which the driver had slammed the boxes down so hard they had broke 15 of my meals. I rang up Prep and after a very kind apology offered to send replacements for the ones lost and a few more as a gesture of goodwill, as well as contacting the delivery company to inform them. I was very impressed by their professional tone and wonderful understanding of the situation, it made me feel confident that they do care about their customers.
And on top of all that the food was amazing! The balance of everything is great, there's an equal amount of meat/carbs/veg. The only thing that was a bit too much was the spice on the jerk chicken. Again, very tasty but the spices build up after a while, it made me sad that I couldn't eat it all haha. Also, the chicken fajitas were so good, I could eat them all day every day!
Overall it was a very positive experience and I will be ordering again next month.

Can’t change or choose the meal you like for the halal food its just 7 meals .. and can’t change them

Not really happy with this. If you ask for a muscle gainer meal,why is the only 3 tiny bits of chicken. Meals are tiny aswell. 4 meals a day for £145.

Think I'll cook my own meals from now.

I have tired other providers before and was always not happy with the food. This is different with Prep UK. The portions are good, the food tastes great, almost all of it, apaert from Auberigne Rolls. Most importantly that they cater Halal food and there is only very fiew providers who cater halal food.

The food only lasts 3 days without freezing. I found it bland and unimaginative too, with few dish choices and no customisation available.

Highly recommend.

Came very quick and was packaged nicely with a cooler type material. Put straight into the freezer and ate one meal after my workout.

I’ll detail every single meal below in rank order

1. Cottage pie. This was one of the best pies I have ever tasted. The sweet potatoes mash was amazing and the minced meat was beautifully spiced and flavoured

2. Sweet chilli chicken curry and rice
Again was amazing. Piping hot. Creamy and full of flavour

3.spaghetti Bologna’s s. Same mince as before amazing

4. Jerk chicken with rice
Tasted Ok. Chicken was nicely spiced and rice was ok

5. Peppered steak. Not a fan of this one tbh. Too much pepper. Ruined the taste

Professional and helpful when I was asking about products and services. By the time I ordered, I was happy and confident that the choice made was right for me and my goals.
The package arrived as and when specified, no delays "cos COVID/Brexit", Safely too, very happy with the measures taken to ensure it arrived chilled and intact.
Working my way through them now. They're filling and taste great.
