We loved everything about our trip to Scotland and Private Tours Scotland accommodated last minute changes and made great suggestions for the whole trip. Highly recommend this company for your next trip to Scotland.

This was the trip of a lifetime. What a magical experience! Every detail was perfectly managed, from our Stellar driver, George, to all the reservations for rooms and dinners, to fitting in everything we wanted to see. If you are looking for a tour company that will create the perfect trip, this is the one.

In my travels, I have learned "you don't know what you don't know." Thankfully, we connected with Private Tours Scotland, who knew MANY things that made our 12 day trip absolutely fabulous.
We deferred to them for hotels and wow, were we glad we did. The driver they paired us with made our trip. The private guides were each amazing and knowledgeable. The activities they suggested and arranged for us were best in class - the sheepdog herding demonstration, the visit to a farm, private boat rides . . . . we could not imagine a better itinerary.
They were also super flexible and accommodating with any changes we wanted to make, or places we wanted to include.

Having just returned from an awesome trip to Scotland arranged and coordinated by Maria & Jessica of MV Luxury Travel Scotland, we could not be more pleased.
From the first contact we had with Maria, we knew we were in good hands. She worked with us to craft our trip, listening to our concerns, making adjustments and recommendations, ending in a final itinerary that was everything we had hoped for.
Once our itinerary was finalized, Jessica took over coordinating every detail. She was always quick to respond to questions and changes leading up to our trip, and stayed on top of everything, notifying us of itinerary changes due to weather and providing great alternatives.
Every detail of our trip was handled with top notch care, from providing our driver, tickets, and hotel reservations, to arranging our dinner reservations nightly.
All we had to do was show up and enjoy. I cannot recommend MV Luxury Travel, Maria, and Jessica more highly.

We had a tailor made trip to Scotland planned with the help and expertise of Private Tours Scotland. Alasdair was my initial contact arranging the actual trip. He really took into consideration all of my requests and desires for the trip, (which I was designing for my husband’s 60th birthday). It included several whiskey tastings, and a stay in a castle. I was then passed along to Jessica, who meticulously arranged all the details of the trip. This included the transfers from airports, train stations and a driver from a private residence in Manchester to Gatwick airport, tours, restaurant reservations and other points of interest. Finally, we requested a blue badge driver, and Alasdair and Jessica secured one immediately.

We were very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism we were given. I would have no hesitation to use it recommends company!

Private Tours Scotland arranged a near perfect vacation for my wife and myself. It was a belated 40th birthday gift, and so expectations were high. She is a photographer and I like castles and historic arms and armor, so between the scenery and the history of Scotland it seemed like it would have something for both of us. I'm pleased to report that the 5 night tour (7-12 of June) of the highlands lived up to expectations. And there were a couple of activities that I don't think we'd have found or chosen on our own that we were both glad we did. We encourage anyone considering hiring Private Tours Scotland to be receptive to their suggestions. And they were notably receptive to our requests, even arranging a night at a property my wife discovered on her own. Having everything arranged, pre booked, and paid in advance (aside from meals of course) was worth expense. They were professional throughout. We would use them again.

My wife and I recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Scotland, expertly arranged by Private Tours of Scotland. From start to finish, every detail was thoughtfully planned and executed. Another standout experience was our private walking tour of Edinburgh with our guide, Michael Crawford, also contracted by Private Tours of Scotland. Although the tour lasted several hours, it flew by far too quickly because it was so fascinating and enjoyable.

What an amazing adventure!! We had a fantastic experience with Michelle and Alan who helped us plan an unforgettable vacation!! We got to see so many beautiful places and so much history!! We loved the fact that we didn’t have to book anything. We just had to decide on what we wanted to see and where we wanted to go, then let the experts Michelle and Alan take over. We had a fantastic driver Craig who was amazing at navigating us through our journey thru Scotland. We will definitely use them again when planning our next adventure!! Cheers

Private Tours Scotland made this trip a trip of a lifetime. They, with their professional expertise, coordinated everything to include all the sites on our wishlist plus more. We did not have to worry about hotels, evening/breakfast meals and driving from one site to the next. The hotels were top of the line; and the driver - well he was totally awesome and a complete joy. We were left to experience the trip with sheer joy.

Our team at Private Tours of Scotland took care of all the details for our trip to Scotland and Northern Ireland. They were easy to work with, quick to respond to questions and requests making the planning stages stress free. They combined our list of must see and do with wonderful recommendations. Our driver in Scotland, Neil was top notch, he took care of all the details and even added extra details and stories related to the sites were were visiting, which let us enjoy the scenery without the worry of how to get where we were going while driving on the opposite side of the road.

One of my favorite experiences was the falconry experience at the Isle of Eriska provided by Elite Falconry. We were able to handle 5 different birds, including a falcon, bald eagle and owl. Well worth the money.

If I ever get the chance to go back to Scotland I would not hesitate to use them again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Private Tours Scotland curated a perfect bespoke experience for our recent family trip. The team gracefully juggled input from seven adults (ranging in age from 25 to 65, each with different suggestions) to create an itinerary that pleased everyone. Responsive, professional and very friendly individuals from our first online inquiry through the planning process and on the ground in Scotland. We truly enjoyed every beautiful venue, lovely accommodations, interesting food options, and the luxurious transportation. We could not be more pleased with Private Tours!

This was our anniversary trip/honeymoon, a 10 day trip private tour with Private Tours of Scotland. This exceeded our expectations and was an incredible experience! We were able to customize our tour to what we wanted to see. It made the process so easy for us, they made reservations for hotels, activities and dinner reservations. Amy, who was our contact, was very accommodating and very helpful in making this tour happen. Our arrival started off with late/missed flights, but they made sure that all arrangements were taken care of and the communication was outstanding. The hotels(we chose 4 star hotels), the people were friendly, helpful and accommodations always had beautiful views. We always looked forward to the dinner reservations as the meals were so good!

Having a driver allowed us to enjoy the sights. Our driver George, was fantastic! He made the trip even better with his friendly manner and knowledge on the different locations. One of the days we only schedule one activity, but we changed our minds and wanted to do more. George suggested a museum on the island (Museum of Islay Life - which I highly recommend) and a couple of additional whiskey tastings (for my husband).

I would HIGHLY recommend this company if you are considering a private tour. They made this experience so easy for us and we were able to enjoy without the hassle of arranging everything. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us!

We were a group of 8 friends traveling from the States to visit a friend who lives in the Highlands. Private Tours Scotland was one of 2 companies we initially reached out to about planning our trip, and they responded quickly and with helpful info. Their pricing was reasonable and a better value than the other company we had contacted.

Alan Kerr planned the perfect itinerary for us, taking into account all the different types of places we wanted to see, activities we wanted to do, places we wanted to eat, etc. This was no easy feat given the variety of opinions, dietary restrictions, etc. in our group. Alan was very patient and gracious throughout the entire process, up to and including being very responsive when we had questions whilst in Scotland. He even (unprompted!) made sure that the 2 people who happened to be celebrating birthdays got some lovely birthday surprises.

We are grateful that Private Tours Scotland connected us to the perfect chauffeur, Grant Brown, who was an excellent driver with a delightful sense of humo(u)r and who had good tips and ideas for stops along the way. We were so glad to have him with us for the week. The Mercedes van fit all of us and our luggage and we were glad to be able to relax without having to worry about renting cars and driving.

Private Tours Scotland did a wonderful job planning the itinerary for our first exploration of Scotland. We absolutely recommend them and would work with them again. Rebecca our Travel Co-Ordinator was so helpful and answered all of our questions during planning process, as well as once we were on the ground. They put together the perfect itinerary for our group. Every stop was well planned (hotels, restaurants, and activities) which met and exceeded our expectations. We had the best time and made wonderful memories thanks to Private Tours Scotland! We just returned from a 10 day tour of Scotland. We cannot say enough good things about the entire trip. The trip plan was excellent and it proved to be outstanding in every way. Amy was our tour coordinator, and was very helpful and responsive in fine tuning our trip. During the trip, she was always available when we made some last minute changes. By always, we even mean weekends and after-hours! Our driver was Ally, and he worked alongside Amy to adjust the trip whenever we desired. Ally was a pleasure to have with us, and he made some great suggestions that helped to make our entire experience 5 Stars! My husband and I worked with Private Tours Scotland to plan our incredible 10-night stay in Scotland. Private Tours Scotland was so easy to work with — they presented us with an initial itinerary and then helped us fine tune it to exactly what we wanted. They even made our dinner reservations (some of the most delicious food ever!).

We began our trip in stunning Edinburgh (my new favorite city!) with day trips to St. Andrews and the Cromlix for tea. After four nights at the luxurious Balmoral, we headed northwest to the beautiful Isle of Eriska and stayed at the gorgeous Isle of Eriska Resort and Spa (you’ll feel like royalty at this country estate).

Next, we made our way by ferry to the Isle of Skye and spent two days exploring the magical landscape, seeing sites like the Fairy Pools, Kilt Rock, and the Storr.

We crossed the magnificent Skye bridge and headed inland to Gairloch to spend one night at the exquisite Shieldaig Lodge before making our way to Loch Ness for a private Loch Ness cruise (so much fun!) and finally to Inverness to spend our last night in Scotland at the lovely Ness Walk Hotel.

This was one of the most amazing trips I’ve been on, and I can’t say enough kind things about Private Tours, Amy (our Private Tours contact), and Craig who drove us across Scotland. Spending 10 days in a car with a stranger can be a bit awkward, but we immediately felt comfortable with Craig and having him as our driver made our experience even better.

I highly recommend Private Tours Scotland if you want a first class adventure straight out of a fairy tale.
