I’ve got a ‘classes only’ membership but the gym is excellent. Great range of classes every evening and morning (although I only go evenings). The trainers are very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. And the other members make you feel extremely welcome.

Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always show a smile.

Good range of equipment from free weights, multi gym to cardio.

Good range of classes available to suit all levels.

Everyone is welcome and I don’t feel people are judged on their shape, ability or size, just shown respect for making the effort to show up.

I’ve lived in 5 countries and this is by far the best gym I’ve ever been to.

Progress gym is a special place ! Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and supportive. I attend classes in the mornings and have weekly PT session. Progress gym is always very clean and tidy which is also important. Couldn’t recommend enough!

I always enjoy going to progress gym as all members of staff are very welcoming and always on hand to assist with any questions or to offer support and guidance on any machine or exercise.

Progress is more than a gym! It brings a sense of community, support, motivation and it feels like one big family. Your never alone when training at progress whether a begginer or advanced. There is always a member of staff happy to help, support, advise, spot or motivate you during your session. Would recommend to anyone and everyone who’s looking for a gym and more! It’s helped me reach my goals and more just from the amazing support and high tech equipment.

Staff are very friendly and engaging, helping to make the gym experience better than what you would find at most other gyms. In addition, the equipment is of the highest quality, providing you with a great foundation to train and progress.

The variety of equipment in the gym is great. You can get at muscles from any angle to ensure that you get a full body workout. The gym team are helpful, polite and friendly and visiting is always a pleasant experience.

I have been going to Progress gym for 5 years now and have to say the equipment is second to none. There are machines for every type of exercise and enough of them so that you don’t have to wait for someone else to finish. The staff are also excellent very knowledgeable and happy to help. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Its great to find a place that does not judge and is not about the brand you wear. It has a very friendly supportive team and lets you develop at your own pace with a great choice of equipment, space and facilities with a very accessible opening schedule.

Moved to Yeovil in March and after a a few free trials at other gyms I chose to join Progress Gym.

I have used gyms for my workouts for over 50 years and this is the best gym I have been in by miles. It is superbly equipped, and the staff are inspirational. It is a very happy place where all the staff greet me by my christian name whenever I come in.

I was in Somerset for the week and was looking for a gym to keep up with training whilst away from London.

I didn’t have high expectations in general and stumbled across Progress Gym on Google. I was absolutely blown away by the gym and so happy that I found it.

Upon arrival at the gym, I was shown around both sites and in the end stuck with just using the main site as I was strength training for the week only. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I went with the weekly pass which worked out to be better value than paying for each time I visited.

All the guys on reception were super helpful, and I even met the owner who took the time to talk to me and run me through the ethos of the gym.

I have been to quite a few gyms around the UK, specifically those for strength training and bodybuilding, and Progress Gym is right up there with the very best of them.

The gym has lots of variety of machines from pin-loaded, plate loaded, free weights, cables and squat racks. Inclines, flats, declines. Different variations for all muscle parts as you would expect. There are loads of single arm and double arm attachments and the gym was super clean! I mean the cleanest gym I’ve seen.

There was a culture from everyone using the gym to put your weights away after use and attachments back on the wall. There was even photos on the wall of where to place the attachments!

I will be definitely be back at Progress Gym when in the area. Great job Rob and the team!
