Quality upgrade for my Defender, backed by helpful service
I recently purchased a steering wheel from Project Kahn for my classic Land Rover Defender and overall I’m very pleased with both the product and the service.
The steering wheel itself looks fantastic and has made a real difference to the interior, the quality and finish are exactly what I was hoping for. There was a small issue initially as the incorrect steering wheel boss was supplied, but to their credit the team resolved this quickly and efficiently with no fuss.
They also very kindly allowed me to exchange the brushed wheel for the polished version, which I ultimately felt suited the vehicle better. The process was smooth and handled professionally throughout.
Mistakes can happen, but what really matters is how they are dealt with, and in this case Project Kahn were responsive, helpful and easy to deal with. I would happily use them again.

We understand that pricing is an important factor when making a purchase decision. Our components are not generic mass-produced items, they are design-led products developed specifically for each vehicle platform, manufactured in limited volumes and finished to meet our brand standards.
While they may appear simple at first glance, the cost reflects the development, tooling, materials and quality control involved.
That said, we appreciate all feedback and are always happy to discuss specifications in more detail prior to purchase to ensure expectations are aligned.
Delay with no real compensation from a premium brand
I experienced a significant delay with my order.
While the manager eventually contacted me and mentioned that the item would be shipped by air to arrive faster, there was no real compensation for the inconvenience caused.
Faster shipping after a delay is not compensation — it is simply correcting a mistake.
For a brand positioned as premium, I expected better handling of delays and more consideration for the customer experience.

I appreciate your frustration regarding the delay, and I’d like to clarify one point for context. Once the issue was identified, we arranged for the replacement wheel to be shipped by air at our expense rather than by standard freight. This was not simply correcting the delay, but a goodwill gesture intended to significantly reduce further waiting time at a considerable additional cost to us.
That said, I understand your broader point. When you choose a premium brand, expectations are higher, particularly around communication and handling when things don’t go exactly to plan. On this occasion, while we acted quickly to resolve the issue, I accept that the overall experience did not meet the standard you rightly expected.
Your feedback is noted and will be used to improve how we manage delays and customer communication going forward.

Their products feel cheap and fake
The shipping prices are unrealistic and if you contact them they give different prices which is sketchy,
The product itself feels fake and have issues
I bought the lights and each unit have different strength, fake!

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, but a few points need clearing up. Our shipping prices come directly from our courier at the time of checkout, so nothing is hidden or “sketchy”. If prices vary, it’s simply because courier rates change based on weight, destination and service level.
As for the product, all of our items are genuine and supplied exactly as advertised. The light units you purchased should not vary in output, so if you’re experiencing an issue we’re more than happy to replace or inspect them. The installation kit is also listed clearly on the product page, so nothing should have been missing from what was described.
If you contact our support team, we’ll sort this properly. We want every customer to receive the service and product quality we’re known for.

Had to buy wheel insterts and wheel…
Had to buy wheel insterts and wheel nuts at an extra cost to the wheels
Which was nearly another £200 on top.
Had my car booked in and they had taken off my origional wheels only to find 6wheel nuts had not been sent so only 18 instead of 24.
Wheels do look great tho so happy with that.

I purchased two body kits and four wheels from this store and also visited them in person. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. At first, I planned to collect the items myself and ship them abroad to Dubai, but I later found out that I wouldn’t be able to get a tax refund. Because of this, I asked them to handle the shipping instead, which seemed much more convenient. And they helped me alot
