A great experience with Protocol Education, especially with Joe! The whole process was quick and smooth, and I really appreciated him checking up on me and keeping me updated. He also took everything I said into account to find me the most appropriate school for me. Overall I’m very happy with how things went and I definitely recommend Protocol Education!

I keep being let down by this agency. I had a bumpy sign on when I started. My original recruiter left Protocol during my sign up, to which I had to answer questions again when signed up to a new recruiter. I had some shortlist offers which appeared on the app, then disappeared with no explanation. I asked my recruiter why this occurred and I was ghosted. I am sent emails about prospective roles and applying for some on their website, which I am rejected from even though I am within the agency. I am offered roles then let down. It would be nice to hear something if I am unsuitable for the role(s), rather than leaving me in the lurch with unanswered questions. It feels like I wasted £49.50 for the DBS.

From the very beginning, my experience with Protocol Education has been excellent. I was first contacted by Helen Duff, Educator Consultant, and her communication was clear, supportive, and professional throughout the whole process. She explained everything I needed to know before the interview, including which documents were required for compliance, which helped me feel fully prepared.

On the day of my meeting, I arrived late, but Helen and Lauren were incredibly patient and kind — they stayed on the phone guiding me step‑by‑step to find the Stockton office. Once I arrived, the meeting was calm, friendly, and completely pressure‑free.

Helen completed most of the compliance steps quickly and professionally, and the only thing left was chasing references. Everything moved fast, and I was cleared to work much sooner than I expected.

Overall, I’m very happy with the whole registration experience. The team is supportive, professional, and genuinely helpful. I highly recommend getting in touch with Protocol Education if you’re looking to register and get cleared to work in schools — they make the process smooth and stress‑free.

Easy to use, reliable service.
I approached Protocol Education as I needed some 'top up' employment during quiet periods in my main tutoring job.
I found the sign up process easy and convenient and I had clear help and guidance from the staff.
I found them very proactive in finding me employment which suited my skills and preferences. I really felt that they care about matching you with the right school.
I will continue to work with them for ad-hoc supply teaching, as this is my preference. However they also have lots of opportunities for full time work.
The Protocol Education App is also a very handy piece of kit as I can show and change my availability so that I'm given work which suits me.
A particular shout out to Louis who has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Proactive, helpful and responsive.

I have been registered with Protocol since 2015 having first used their services in 2010. Two years ago, my main representative retired. Over the last year I was rather disappointed with the amount of work I received from them but, recently, thanks to one astute representative, I have again seen a noticeable increase in bookings. Since joining Protocol agency Adam Buckingham has been Amazing.
He made me feel very welcomed and really listened to me in terms of the role I was looking for. Communication was excellent and Adam was always available to help at all times if had a question.
His friendly approach helped enormously and professionalism too.
Adam gave me a wonderful introduction to a school which gave me the opportunity to attend an interview. It was a great experience and enabled me to gain a permanent position which is just fabulous. I couldn’t have done it without Adam so a big shout out for him.

I have been registered with Protocol Education since 2018. For the first few years, I worked as a TA and then as a teacher once I qualified. They are always trying their best to find me the most suitable role. Overall, I have had a good experience with the agency. Most of the time I have dealt with John, he has always been respectful and polite. I also found him to be a good communicator who responds fast to emails.

Ellie Hayes and the team were fantastic. They got me a trial day and straight away I was secured work. The process was easy and happy to recommend them.

I have recently joined Protocol and I have had several different roles which have all been a perfect fit for me. I have been fully supported right from the initial application until now. I have had most dealings with Helen, Jack and Adam and all have been really pleasant and friendly but also very helpful making my job rewarding.

I have had a really positive experience with Protocol Education Bristol. The team has been supportive, responsive and communicative throughout my onboarding process. A special thank you to Kate Gumbleton for her excellent guidance and quick responses and for securing me a placement so quickly once my onboarding was complete. My experience with Protocol in Bristol has been thorough and amazing right from the start. I found work straight away and I found my experience as TA and Cover Supervisor rewarding!
