The exquisite location of the villa on a hillside…
The location of the well equipped villa on a hillside with sweeping views of vines, olive groves and trees was outstanding, making for a great holiday experience. The poolside outdoor kitchen was well used.. The 14 year old teenagers loved the pool. Local restaurants, boulangeries and large supermarkets were 10-15 minutes away. A highlight was visiting the nearby Roman and medieval hillside towns of Seguret and Vaison La Romaine.
Surprisingly, (not a deal breaker) there were no toilet paper holders. Even vertical holders on the floor would have been appreciated.
By prearranged phone call Provence Holidays staff were helpful in changing the dates for our 2 weeks family stay.
I did not receive any response to my email asking about fireworks on Bastille Day in Avignon.

Beautiful Villa 5 minutes from Gordes
We had a wonderful experience booking through Provence Holidays. Their website is very user-friendly, making the entire process — from paying the deposit to settling the balance — smooth and stress-free. The team was also extremely helpful and responsive, even going the extra mile to arrange in-villa massages, which was a real treat.
The property itself was beautifully presented — clean, stylish, and in a fantastic location, just a short five-minute drive from the stunning town of Gordes. It made the perfect base for exploring the area while still feeling peaceful and private.
A couple of small points to be aware of: only one bath towel per person was provided, which felt a bit limited, especially during a summer stay. The weekly clean was quite minimal and didn’t include a towel change, which would have been appreciated. Also, while checkout was officially at 10am, housekeeping arrived at 9:20am, which created some unnecessary pressure as we were trying to pack up and leave.
That said, these were relatively minor issues in what was otherwise a fantastic holiday. The overall experience with Provence Holidays was excellent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.

Great end to end experience
Attentive service, great follow-up and efficient. The villa we rented "Domain des Arts" is fantastic; superbly equipped, appointed and decorated. A great location just 20 mins from Aix-en-Provence, tranquil and completely private. Strongly recommended!

Soaking up the French countryside
We (7 adults and 4 children aged 7-13) were celebrating special annniversaries and birthdays and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mas Villard!
It was a beautiful villa with enough room for everyone to spread out but still be together.
Our hosts were so helpful ( giving us great advice about the best place to view the Tour de France up close) about things to do and where to eat !
We would all love to go back soon!

Excellent resource for a perfect Provence visit
Planning a Provence trip for 9 women from across the pond was a daunting experience, but Provence Holidays made it a breeze. Amazing place!
This beautiful property is wonderfully appointed - spacious rooms and lots of space for 24 people to enjoy each other’s company - but with enough separation to allow for some downtime resting, reading or relaxing by one of the property’s 4 swimming pools. We had a truly wonderful gathering of friends and family here. A great base for exploring Provence.

Lovely property, great communication and very helpful, knowledgeable staff. We had a few travel dramas and they very kindly managed to arrange a transfer to collect my daughter from the airport at relatively short notice - efficient and much appreciated!
