Purchased a 2 pack of XWFE filters for my GE refrigerator. They didn't fit correctly and generated an error message that wouldn't let me use my water. Replacing with the old filter corrected the issue. Although I'm waiting to hear back from GE, I suspect these are fraudulent. The fitment is too tight, there is no serial number on the new filter compared to the original filter and they bear a "Made in China" instead of the "Made in the USA" (as seen on my original filter) on the label.

I did request a refund which was promptly received back in my PayPal account.

SCAM!! The connectors are different, the colors on the label are different. Wish we'd have looked here first. Also thought we were getting a good deal. I need to listen to my own advice.....if it seems too good to be true.....IT IS!!!!!

Filters are a knock off and don't work. Do not use this scam company !

Sadly did not look at reviews before buying and was also scammed. Ordered three filters thinking I was getting a great deal instead I was getting unusable garbage.

Yup. Wish I would've thought to check here first. They are a scam. Send filters with no RFID chips. They don't work. Luckily they refunded me but ya they suck. Avoid.

I attempted to order some GE water filters that appear to be the OEM type filters. I placed the order, and immediately got the "something went wrong" message. I checked my CC info, and a charge was attempted to Hong Kong. Thankfully, it did not go through (at least not yet)! I did not receive any confirmation of order, so I'm hopeful that I'm safe.
Bottom line: BE WARY, BE CAREFUL!!!!

Scam for sure. I ordered and realized after I received tracking info that it was coming from CHINA and not the US as per their website. I couldn't understand the tracking info so I emailed them and asked for a refund and thankfully they immediately processed it thru PayPal. My dad used to always say "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is". Well said, Dad.

I purchased 4 XWFE refrigerator filters & they are counterfeit!! They do not have the chip needed & the ERROR message was given. Do not purchase!!

Same as the other reviews. The RPWFE filters are counterfeit and do not have the necessary chip to work with the GE refrigerator. I reported it to the BBB. I contacted my CC company and disputed the charge.

Counterfeit products. Waste of money

Do not order from here ! Scam

Fraudulently selling counterfeit GE RPWFE refrigerator water filters. These filters DO NOT work and are a 100% SCAM.
Filters are very realistic but do not contain the OEM microchip necessary for operation.
Received a full refund via PayPal Protection.

ZERO STARS!! DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! These folks are selling fraudulent GE XWFE refrigerator water filters. Everything looks good on initial inspection, including the packaging and instruction insert. However, the filters lack the serial number on the top rim, the QR code on the label, and, most importantly, the RFID embedded in the label that allows the ice maker and water dispenser to work. SCAMMERS!

Filters are fake. Filters do NOT have the RFID chip that is required for the refrigerator.

Actually, I give it no Star. I wish I had read the reviews other people had written before I placed my order. I got scammed. Filters didn't work. I ordered 3 ge xwfe filters, and each one didn't work. I was perplex since each one looked exactly like the one I was replacing, label and filter size and it fit into socket fine, but refig displayed ERR on each one.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY!
these are NOT genuine ge filters. I purchased set of three and opened one today to replace our other xwfe. The new filter did not work, no water dispensed and we got an error message. When reviewing the error message, it indicates this is not genuine GE filter. I opened another filter and same message and no water dispensed again and same error message. Placed our old one back in and it works fine. This is ridiculous and the company should be ashamed passing this off as genuine ge product. I’m ticked that I fell for this scam and spent $69 for nothing but junk.
Wish I could give zero stars, that’s what they deserve!
