Aquatap After Sales Service
We've had our Aquatap for approx 2yrs now, it's great but I'm not happy with the after sales service. They don't come out to look at anything that's not working correctly. Instead they send a video and expect you to do it.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately we are an online company and only offer call outs in certain areas, which can be chargeable especially if you are out of warranty. However our customer service is excellent and the reason why we always ask for a video so we can see exactly what the problem is. If our customer service team are unable to help you we do have a dedicated team of technicans who are always on hand to help over the phone and normally can solve 99 percent of issues that may occur. 4 in 1 tap
I have the 4 in 1 tap with pull out spray. The tap itself is ok but for some reason loses pressure after the hose is used and then drips until it rights itself. Not ideal as it’s 98°C water but unfortunately nothing can be done to fix it. Customer service were really good, sent a new hose and whilst this didn’t fix the issue they offered to exchange tap for a standard model.

This based upon customer service
Having had my Aqua Tap hot tap for 18 months I experienced an issue whereby the receiving valve for the filter was not functioning properly. I contacted Aqua Taps and Sean identified the problem immediately after realising that the left hand-side valve was stuck. He sent me out a replacement and I recontacted both Sean and also Ben for support. Both members of staff were excellent. Patient and helpful throughout.

Our lovely tap is brilliant
Our lovely tap is brilliant. Other brands do not include the extra bits of plumbing and also the installation videos were excellent. We have an 80cm sink and the extendable hose gets into all the corners.

The sales representative, Sean McKean was very responsive and dealt with my demanding requests regarding parts and delivery turnaround times quickly and efficiently. I bought the Aqua tap in March this…
I bought the Aqua tap in March this year at the home exhibition. The staff there very helpful and friendly. We did have a delay in installing the tap as I couldn’t get a plumber to do it for me. We had it installed now and I do love it. It is so easy to have access to hot water and filtered water. We are drinking a lot more water now than we used to. The only thing I would say is sometimes the hot water drops in temperature and it takes at least 10 minutes to rise up to 98°. One day last week the temperature dropped to 37°C And I had to wait. I hope it doesn’t happen often.

This is obviously a fault or maybe with a setting problem. I bought the Aquataps 4 in 1 instant…
I bought the Aquataps 4 in 1 instant hotwater tap in 2022. Within 3 weeks the boiling water child safety button broke so had to pay a plumber again to remove it and after complaint to Aquataps was sent another one and paid the plumber again to fit it. 12 months later the boiler unit broke flooded the kitchen and water damaged the wood under sink area . Another complaint and a new boiler sent out and a plumber paid yet again to fit it. Then last week the 2nd boiler broke and again flooded the undersink area further damaging the woodwork. This time Aquataps offered a new boiler unit to me for £200. and expect me to pay a plumber again to change the units. I complained again and they said they had no record of me buying their filters since purchasing the unit which obviously caused the damage. Pure Tosh. The units are totally unfit for purpose so I'm now having to go down the route of trading standards assistance.

Thank you for your comments.
I have looked into your case and have read all the correspondence from customer service and checked all of your order history. You purchased the tap over 3 years ago and during this time you have never changed your filter. I can see that you had a problem within 3 weeks and this rectified as soon as your notified us where we supplied you witha new boiler. You say that at this time we supplied you with a free filter which we took your word for it. However if we did supply you with a filter than you still would have been due another 4 filter changes and we have no record of you purchasing any filters from us. As you are aware part of our warranty is that you have to change your filters every 6 months and failure to do this would mean you are out of warranty, plus we only guarantee the boiler for 2 years, and having the boiler longer this is another valid reason why you are out of warranty. We also have no record of you taking out the extended 5 year warranty. Out of goodwill we have offered you a boiler at 50% deduction and if you want us to help you this offer still stands. I understand you are frustrated but unfortunately we feel we have been more than fair.

4in1 Tap lowers the flow to 1/3 only!
I need to warn people about their tap - 4in1 pullout. It may be a good tap if you have good water pressure. The tap lowers the flow by 2/3. You will not find this information online. My already low pressure dropped from about 6l/min to 2l/min. My combi boiler requires 2.3l/m to trigger hitting. Having that small flow is also annoying by itself. This resulted that I did not have hot water at all in my kitchen tap. I needed to spend £320 on a mains booster pump and an additional £500 on installation (which was not easy so consider this still reasonable). Before I contacted their support. They asked me to provide a video and a water pressure measurement. I sent them a video and the measurement as a flow rate. I explained that I can't measure it in bars, but this would not be necessary. I'm sure they know about this problem with this tap, and they simply ignored me. I though, that maybe the tap got clogged or something but I investigated all connections. I could not return it because I got it with the house. Please be aware that the tap may cause you irritation and their support will simply ignore you if you do not have proof of purchase.

We are somewhat surprised by your review bearing in mind you are not a customer of ours or have even bought a tap from us! However we will answer your points in your review. We do state in our full description that all pull out taps need a minimum of 2 bar and our classic taps need a minimum of 1.5 bar. This is clearly stated on our website and if someone does not meet these requirments it can affect the flow of the tap. We do not cover this up and this is clearly displayed. I understand we have asked you to check bar of your pressure but you state you are unable to do this. In order to help we would need this done and are not sure why you were unable to do this. We do not ignore any customers and do not have problems with flow issues providing the customers have the correct bar pressure. Most houses will have at least 2 bar pressure so no this is not a problem we come across so we find your comments totally unacceptable, especially when you are not even our customers of ours. We totally understand that you have inherited this tap however of these guidelines would of been explained to the original customer. If you need any further help customer services would be happy to speak to you

Good stylish hot water tap
Really like the style of the tap and it is so well made and sturdy. The heating unit is nicely compact in the kitchen cupboard. However, even after all this time I still find it extremely difficult to change to cartridges each time, even given the online help. Having osteoarthritis in my hands it is difficult to carry out the changing. Also find there are spasms where the tap ‘spits’ when in using for hot water.

Please not that it is not normal for your tap to spit whilst using the hot water function. Can I ask you to contact our customer service team who will be able to sort this problem out for you.
Or alternatively please send us a a 30 second video showing us the tap spitting and we will ask a technician to sort this out to you.
