First time ordering fruit trees online and I put in two orders - one with Stark Bros and one with Raintree for the more specialty varieties.

Raintree not only offered some really cool varieties to choose from (Abbe fetel pear, muir beauty sugar plum, kuban kometa plum, and red clapp's european pear are what I chose!), but they shipped and arrived perfectly on time.

I planted my bareroot trees a little over a week ago, immediately did an aggressive prune for my cordon espalier project, and all of them are already budding up to push out new branches - and existing branches I didn't prune are beginning to leaf out. If you've ever tried espalier you'll know that it's TERRIFYING to prune a young tree down to a 20" stick, but seeing these trees immediately spring into life was such a relief and joyous moment!

In contrast, my Stark Bros order is now delayed for TWO MONTHS and their customer service is slammed by people like me wanting their order cancelled and money back.

I couldn't be happier with my Raintree Nursery experience and I know I'll be back to buy more in the future - totally stress free experience!

The plants are satisfactory but the service sucks! One of my Pawpaw plants arrived damaged. Customer service told me they don’t have anymore. It takes two to produce fruit. They obviously don’t allow for damage during shipping. Now I have to find one somewhere else.No telling where and when that will be or if I’ll get it in time to plant this year.How frustrating!

Although delivery was slow due to COVID-19, plants arrived carefully packaged and very healthy. One month later, every plant I ordered is thriving!
