First time ordering with Urban Farmer and I am very pleased. I made a request to have my order shipped earlier than the growing season for my area since I have a greenhouse. My order of 50 Seascape Strawberry plants were shipped within a week. All 50 Seascape Strawberry plants arrived and were very nice and healthy looking.

I've got everything I ordered and was pretty quick on shipping haven't planted anything yet but the seeds look good 👍

I ordered 20 asparagus roots in the fall of 2025 to be delivered for 2026 spring planting. They showed up at just the the right time to avoid our spring frost. Oh and they sent extra roots.

Totally disappointed in this company and would not recommend buying anything from them. I placed an order on 03/21, was ro ship within 3 business days. It is now 04/03, and I have yet to receive my order. Their is NO customer service with this company.

Amazing customer service. And top quality seeds and plants. I will get everything from these guys. Definitely a company you can trust for good quality and superior service.

I bought a package of heirloom seeds of 'Delicious' RED tomato. The plants germinated very well. Plants growing lush and tall. However, the fruit on the vines is NOT what i ordered. I am getting orange/yellow striped fruit, NOT RED. I will reserve final comments for tasting but I only plant 1 variety of tomato, 'Delicious', and the wrong seeds are in this packet. Completely disappointed. I even asked them about their quality control and they assured me. they won't answer their phone. Won't reply to emails. This review will go to 1 star if they never respond and the tomato taste is not what i expect.

I ordered a few bare root raspberry canes, and the packaging stood out—it was clear more care and attention went into it compared to other places I’ve ordered from. However, one of the canes arrived with severed roots, but when I reached out to customer service, they responded quickly and were incredibly helpful. They replaced the damaged cane right away with a healthy one. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.

Fast shipping and my Rhubarb crowns all came with starts coming out of them, greatly impressed, rate highly recommend this site for ordering starts.

I am very satisfied with my order. I ordered strawberry seeds which I received within a week. I also ordered 20 strawberry roots they sent 26 I planted 24 and 22 of them were growing within 2 days of being planted. I will definitely order from them again. Thank you!!!!

Ordering was so easy and finding what I was looking for was just as easy. As a first time customer I wasn't sure what to expect . Expect great customer service
and exceptional communication . Excited to get my seeds planted and watch my garden come to life .

Fool me twice. "Seed" companies are almost always a scam. I stupidly bought "hybrid" tomato seeds. Duh, they aren't going to come out as the parent plant. I didn't think it through. Still they should not be sold. Nor are they sprouting under ideal conditions (heat mat, dome, etc). when I have dozens of healthy starts, including tomatoes. Waste of time and money.

Replaced my first order, which did not germinate with a new packet!

Placed an order for fordhook bean seeds. 5 lbs. They arrived very quickly and look to be in excellent condition. Great price as well.

Shipping times are terrible and no way to track once shipped. Never again.

I ordered 250 Madagascar Palm seeds despite the negative reviews. Most retailers prices are beyond outrageous for these seeds, so I took a chance. I leaned on the fact that 90% of negative garden supply reviews come from those that don't know how to germinate a seed.

I ordered on Monday. I had my seeds in my mailbox on Friday. Today is Tuesday and half the 60 seeds are already sprouting and I expect even more in the next 48 hours. These particular palm seeds are difficult and I told my wife I'd be satisfied with 25% germination rate. I'm ecstatic!

I'll be purchasing from Urban Farmer again...and again while y'all are still trying to germinate a seed! Lol

To Whom it may concern.
I am appalled. And expecting rectification.
Not only were you not able to fill 2/3rds (two thirds) of my order. You shorted me 20% (twenty percent) of the Sequoia Strawberries ordered you sent me. The plants you sent were pathetic. Five of them were suitable for planting. Much of the rest are so thin it is difficult to see a bulge in the crown. Most of these plants are so thin I can-not call them “pencil thin”. I must call them as thin as the lead in a pencil. Not only that but the bare root plants you sent had already broken dormancy.
I expect you to send me as soon as possible the four (4) dormant Sequoia strawberry plants you shorted me._____________________________________________
June 23 2024 When I did finally get the strawberries without an apology the 5 spindles that were sent me were the size of a large sewing needle

Second year Flower Farmer. I was worried about ordering seeds from Urban Farmer Seeds because of some of the negative reviews. I ended up placing a small order and was so happy that the seeds germinated in 3 days! Ordered more and same result! Seeds have very fair pricng and I realy appreciate the bulk seed options. Shipping was fast as well. SO glad I took a chance on this company. Sandy

The seeds were good quality and did arrive with a surprisingly high shipping price since it included the roots and plants that were shipped later. But all was properly accounted for.
When the vines and roots were delivered, the strawberry crowns were dried out. I’m guessing the company is suffering from the understaffing problem rampant everywhere today so calling is not available. However, my email was replied to quickly and I was offered a choice of substitutes which arrived shortly after.
The replacement strawberries are in the ground and growing fine now.
