Quoted £49 for a simple procedure but if more involved due my key getting stuck in the lock there would more costs incurred. The locksmith fiddled and said he could not get the broken key out as too far in and I needed a new lock, he first said 5 keys then it was 3 keys, he didn’t give me a straight answer on the cost and said it’s only x for the new lock and then handed me a bill for £463! Scamming people when they are vulnerable and in a difficult stressful situation. Tried calling the company the next morning on a number that comes up as suspected scam to be told to ‘shut up’ and thd phone cut off, tried calling back and the phone isn’t available, I contacted the actual locksmith sent who also cut the call off. Absolutely disgraceful!
I have taken this matter further and it is being investigated by my bank and CA Bureau.

My wife was in a rush and the guy was reassuring and pleasant etc but then charged her £534 including £296 to drill the door. It was only when she got back and processed it all that we realised she had been had. Average prices for replacing a lock are way below this. Avoid.

I would strongly advise avoiding this locksmith.

Before booking, I specifically asked how much it would cost and was told £50. When the locksmith arrived, he immediately said he wanted £190 to drill a hole in my door. When I refused, he suddenly changed his story and said that for £100 he might be able to unlock it without drilling. After I declined that as well, I was then charged £60 just for the call-out.

I understand that a call-out fee can be reasonable, but the pricing felt misleading from the start. If the type of lock affects the cost so much, why not ask for a photo beforehand? That way, the locksmith knows what they’re dealing with, and the customer knows what to expect instead of being hit with unexpected price changes at the door.

To make matters worse, both the person on the phone and the locksmith who attended were extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the whole interaction. I was already in a stressful situation, and instead of helping, it felt like they were trying to take advantage of it and squeeze as much money out of me as possible.

Looking at other reviews afterwards, I’m genuinely relieved I didn’t agree to the work. Based on what I’ve since read, I feel like I could have ended up paying far more.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Beware! I was locked out today and called this company in desperation. They charged me a staggering £650, including £350 for a lock that retails for less than £100. They clearly took advantage of my vulnerable situation. Don't make the same mistake I did, always ask for a quote upfront and shop around, even in an emergency.

I contacted this company but apparently they are not legitimate and they use this name to take payments, the real company is based outside of London. Their advert was under a different name and I needed to repair my door which would not lock properly, I was quoted a call out fee of £49 when I asked for a receipt I was told it would be sent via email when it came they had charged me £180, I phoned them to find out why the amount was different and to give me a break down, he was evasive in his reply and put the phone down, do not use their services,

Very professional, fast but thorough, and reasonable priced. I recommend this company for any locksmith needs. I will definitely use them again.

Bad service too late and charging too much

Be wary of the $29 call out fee it’s a scam! I called these guys during the day on Saturday and they quoted me the call out fee plus any charges incurred to change the locks. He picked the lock to let me into my house which took 5 mins and then tried to charge me $229 on top of the call our fee for ‘Saturday rates’.

The guys was obviously a contractor and super young and very arrogant. I have since called other locksmiths who quoted me around $150 for the same service.

Don’t trust these guys!!

Lost my only key for my car, had new key reprogrammed 24 hours later. Cost less than was expecting. Very happy with service. Thank you

Rude phone operators and totally unhelpful.
Was locked out and called for the emergency service. It took 90minutes for someone to arrive. Upon challenging this over the phone I was told “well we are not an emergency service” despite it being plastered all over the website.
The only solution they gave me was “so shall we cancel your job then”
Do not use them if you’re stuck. Terrible

Terrible after service, sold me an expensive keyfob that keeps getting deprogrammmed and when they took my master key to reprogram the new key fob my original fob got deprogrammed. Then what a hassle to get a hold of them, it dragged and dragged and finally gave me appointments where tecnitians never showed up. Weeks and weeks months and months still no show just promises someone will come and excuses after excuses, or siply they don't call back or not answer their phone

Boast 10-20 min timeframe...took 35....5 min unlock job...bill was 396 dollars...had only 330 and he took it all...should have broken my window and fixed it for that amount. Should of had him throw keys back in and relocked.. do not recommend

Rapid agreed to program 6 keys for $600. They ignored the agreement stating that the locksmith was responsible for not completing the agreement.

I called the Rapid phone number and for 2 weeks of calls they informed me that a supervisor would contact me. I was calling 3 times a day. No one called me.

This is a very shady company with horrible business practices. Avoid this company based in Minnesota like the plague.

You do not want this company or any of it's employees near your vehicles, homes, businesses etcetera.
