My elderly Mum was somehow conned into having a DD set up by these fraudsters. If these scammers are lucky to live into old age I hope they feel the pain of guilt.

My 93-year-old mother received an unsolicited letter that welcomed and congratulated her on signing up for their coverage, which she never did. They proceeded to detail her bank details and a direct debit collection notice. None of which had been agreed to or authorised. After checking her account, I was able to remove the Direct Debit that had been added to her bank account fraudulently. They are nothing but scammers, preying on the elderly. Avoid, and report!

My mom received a letter from this company telling her her appliance insurance had been set up along with a DD, luckily as she didn't remember asking for it she told me, after reading the letter written in poor English it was clearly a scam, checking her banking app a company called Sparta Telecom had somehow set up a DD, this has been cancelled and i will be checking daily for any further mysterious companies setting up unwarranted DD's.

Scam call, phone number 01507499271 - phones to say we would shortly be receiving a letter offering a discount, then fishing for updated name and debit details. My father was previously scammed for Sparta Telecom, among other names.

Scammers who prey on the elderly and vulnerable by taking unauthorised direct debit payments from their bank which shows up as Sparta Telecom when collected. Action Fraud have been notified.

Con artists. They call my mother several times a day with different numbers and different names, threatening to take out money. They need to be shut down!

Sent direct debit advance notice to my elderly flatmate. He has not aggreed to repairs from this company. Already has insuarance cover from another company! They have contacted him by phone and he told them 'no'.
As others have said. Scaming elderly and vunerable.

Total SCAM of a company!! Direct debit cancelled and they then instructed Sparta Telecom to set up a new direct debit with absolutely NO authority from my Grandmother! Completely taken advantage of an elderly lady! FRAUD reported to the bank!

The same as the other reviews. This company is calling my mother several times a day and have twice managed to set up a DD from her account, which fortunately, I have cancelled. I have reported to Trading Standards. Has anybody had any response from Action Fraud?

This despicable company have harassed my elderly, vulnerable Aunt with cold calls and managed to get her bank details. She told them she didn't want their services so the cold caller told her she had to pay a cancelation fee of £50 ( £50 TO CANCEL A SERVICE SHE HADN'T EVEN AGREED TO ! ) By this time my Aunt was so confused and worried she agreed to pay the fee. Luckily she then told me what had been happening. I phoned her bank and told them that the payment would go out as Sparta telecoms and the bank said they had already taken £170 and were due to take another payment of £50. Another DD had also been set up under the name Kraft Telecoms to drain even more money out of her account. The bank canceled the direct debits. The bank are also recalling the one that was paid ( so if anyone reading this has been scammed ask the bank to recall the DD )
I went through the call history on my Aunts phone and these scumbags have been phoning her her multiple times a day. They have left an 85 year old upset, confused and panicking every time the phone rings. These thieving, lying scumbags should be shut down. Please report them to Trading Standards and Action Fraud if you or your family have been a victim of their scam.
They are also subject to an insolvency hearing actioned by HMRC.

great experince with Relaible Appliance Repairs they have spend more than £500 for me as per their agreement to repair my Television. they have paid engineer cost as well new tv screen replacement cost too. its really unexpected and amaging work done i can trust them for all the time in my life.

I spoke to Peter earlier regarding my insurance details, He was very polite and knowledgeable in explaining my rights.

Scammers! received a direct debit advance notice with fraudulent information. emailed them to inform them, both email addresses were bad addresses despite coming from their website.

Just the same as many others report this company preys upon vulnerable elderly people persuading them to give them their bank details and then setting up a direct debit for insurance on appliances they do not need or even possess. They played the same trick on my mother in law this week. Fortunately I think Ive managed to stop the money going out via a direct debit as we checked her bank account online and found the direct debit all set up to go in a few days time so hopefully £170 will not be going out her account. The incident has nonetheless caused her some distress and confusion. She is 91 and has dementia. Very fortunately the carers picked up on what has happened and let us know quickly enough for us to intervene but looking at trust pilot its a very common occurence with this company. It seems to be they should be shut down

Cold call company praying on the elderly, they have tried twice to take £170 for appliance cover. Once in 2023 and again May 2024. I have reported them for fraud again...

I came to my dad's home today after he was left worried to answer his phone after harassing phonecalls asking for his bank details. Whilst I was sat with my dad who was left shaken and tearful, the phone rung again and I answered it. A man asked to speak with my dad & when I asked who was calling, he hung up without saying a word. I did 1471 and was given this number. I rung the number from my phone (using 141) and heard the greeting 'Reliable Repairs is one of the leading service providers'. This company conned my father out of £170 in December when they convinced him he had an account with them and the charge was to cancel it. These are disgusting scammers and should be locked up. Do not answer or put the phone down immediately if they call.

Please report this company if they scam you. They prey on elderly people by taking there money. They seem to run a business but at the same time scamming vulnerable people. £170 was taken from my elderly mums bank account and a direct debit set up with out her knowledge. Please speak to your bank and report it if this happens to you. Its associated with the company sparta telecom some how, as this is what shows up on the bank statements

Scammers preying on the elderly. Cold-called my elderly mother and convinced her she had already entered a 3 year deal with them. When she said she didn’t want to renew they charged a cancellation fee via a Direct Debit letter for £120. Bank informed and advised calling them to ensure DD agreement cancelled as well as payment. Their staff continued to be bolshy until I suggested I’d get the banks fraud department onto them at which point they hung up.
