My father’s experience with this firm was extremely disappointing. Peter Jewel was sent to represent him in court appeared completely uninterested — he stood up, said a few words, then sat down as if he couldn’t be bothered, even though my father’s entire livelihood was at stake. He later chatted casually with the opposing side, giving the impression that he didn’t care about the outcome at all.

The firm showed little compassion or understanding of how serious the situation was. My father, an immigrant who worked hard to build an honest living, ended up losing his income and being fined £1,000 — a devastating blow for someone who did nothing unlawful. The attitude from the solicitors throughout was dismissive and unprofessional, and any concerns we raised were brushed off. They did not respond for weeks on end and us being worried we would contact them and did not hear anything.

To make things worse, the case was postponed twice and we were still charged extra fees, even though none of the delays were our fault. When we questioned their conduct, we were met with excuses instead of accountability.

If you are looking for genuine advocacy and respect for your circumstances, I would strongly recommend choosing another law firm. This firm did not show care, effort, or professionalism when my father needed it most.
