Warning: Allergy nightmare

The products dispensed in your machines are so heavily scented pungent, it's borderline nauseating, and is making my skin burn. I have had to air my laundry outside and/or re-wash them to get rid of the extremely concentrated, unplesant fragrance. There is NO possible way these are 'eco-friendly' or hypoallergenic. They are a nightmare for anyone with allergies, respiratory issues, skin sensitivies, etc., not to mention that fragrance is a known endocrine (hormone) disruptor. Clothes should be clean when they come out of a machine, not saturated with toxic, allergy-inducing chemicals! If you have asthma, allergies, eczema, or children in the home, stay far away from these facilities as they may be endangering your health.

Regarding the reply from customer service below:
1. EcoLabel is NOT the same as hypoallergenic, so the claim still does not stand.
2. I have already written to your customer service department on WhatsApp, and after 6 days, still no reply. I find it interesting that a public review will gain the company's attention, yet dedicated customer service channels seem to be ignored? Please review your WhatsApp messages and you will be sure to find my contact information including the location.

I am truly sorry to hear about the skin irritation and respiratory discomfort you experienced after using our facility. We take feedback on health and safety very seriously, and I would like to provide some clarity about the products dispensed from our machines.

Our Wash-ME (formerly Revolution Laundry) machines use Eco Wash detergent and GREEN'R Ultra Soft fabric softener, both with the EU Ecolabel (ES-CAT/039/002 and BE/039/001, respectively).

The EU Ecolabel is a high-level environmental certification that guarantees the products meet rigorous standards for both performance and reduced environmental impact. Furthermore, they comply with EU REACH regulations and contain no "substances of very high concern".

While these products are designed to be environmentally friendly, they are not completely fragrance-free. The detergent contains <5% perfumes, and the softener is a perfumed formula designed to leave a fresh scent.

Our machines use automatic dosing systems calibrated by technical services to ensure the correct amount of product is used based on water hardness. This is intended to minimise water pollution and prevent over-saturation. But we understand that even low levels of fragrance can be problematic for some individuals with severe allergies or chemical sensitivities.

Not worth the hassle.

Went to use washing machines and dryer last week. Had washes in both the small and large machine which worked fine. Too the washing out to put in the dryer. Paid the 10.50€ , dryer went through the motions and didn't even heat up, clothes wet and cold when cycle finished, wasted 45 minutes sitting there, send an email to customer service straight away and another a few days later and still no reply from customer service. Won't be using them again, I'll stay with speedqueen from now on.

Wash.me betaalt geen refund en is onbereikbaar

Na betaling werd de was niet gestart. Op hun site staat dat ze 24/7 bereikbaar zijn, maar in de praktijk is hun nummer zelden bereikbaar. Ik heb meteen een refund ingevuld via een google form. Daar krijg je geen mail van. Na invullen staat er dat ze binnen twee weken terugbetalen (mits approved, dat voelde al gek). Maar goed, je kan naar je geld fluiten en bereikbaar zijn ze niet. Ze hebben geen emailadres (op hun site) en hun chatbot zegt je door te verbinden naar een mederwerk die niet komt en sluit daarna al snel de chat af. Waanzinnig slechte service. Was niet bij de wash.me. Vaak storing en terugbetalen, ho maar.

Trash machines dont work half the time I go there, owed about five refunds that they refuse to process, customer service is worthless just look at the reviews tells you everything you need to know.

Tried to dry a mountain of wet clothes…

Tried to dry a mountain of wet clothes and got a “load needs to be redistributed” error message ( the load was nowhere near too heavy ). I stopped the dryer and redistributed the load to no avail. As I still had a mountain of wet clothes I paid for another cycle and got the same error message. I then took the load to a service that actually works. I phoned the “helpline” and was sent a text linking me to the company for a refund. I filled in the details and was told I would be refunded within 5 days. This has long passed and NO REFUND. I don’t think this company is a scam; they are just hopelessly incompetent at resolving issues. These machines fail and the company needs to find a way of effectively dealing with that. I threw away £14.00 on this company and they are failing to refund me. Please bear this in mind before using their machines!…Have received a reply from the company telling me that my complaint has reached their Irish branch and that they can’t help me if my complaint is based in the U.K. This is more blatant incompetence from this company. I give a Trustpilot review and the company’s response is ‘we’re the Ireland branch so we can’t help you, you have to contact our U.K. branch’. This is why this company’s Trustpilot score is so abysmal. They refuse to reform their own failings and blame it on the customer. 1 star is too high a score.

Doe het niet

Na het wassen ging de deur niet open en heb ik twee dagen moeten wachten. Via het alarm nummer kon niemand helpen en bij het tankstation ook niet. Heel vervelend. Ik heb uiteindelijk online (via washme) contact gehad. Toen ik langs reed om te checken was opeens de deur open. Heel raar dit, slechte service en mijn was was niet schoon… dus denk goed na of je hier je was wilt doen

Our professional washers are designed to allow you to start a cycle, check the timer on the display, and make the most of your time while the wash runs, whether that's grabbing a coffee or topping up the tank. The washers remain locked until the cycle is over. That's why they don't currently include additional facilities.

Our IT team is developing a new system to enhance customer notifications, including alerts when a cycle is nearing completion. It will also help reduce situations where laundry is left unattended. We completely understand how frustrating that can be, and we're always looking for ways to make the Wash.ME experience smoother and more convenient.

Disastrous experience

I stood for 30 minutes in the rain trying everything to get the dryer to work. A very small child and a baby in the rain with me. I called the number multiple times and never connected. Sent multiple texts to WhatsApp help. No reply. It had no problem taking my money twice though! Such a stressful and disappointing experience. It truly ruined my day.

Never again. Items not clean

My machine broke-down so I needed to use this facility to wash the wet towels from the floor and some lightly soiled garments. Very unhappy with the results. Nothing seems to be washed clean. I regret not reading the reviews first! Never again

If there was a no star I would click on…

If there was a no star I would click on that.... This was simply a horrible experience I paid 12E for two large towels... It never moved yo spin... No-one answered the call centre.. I had to haul two saturated towels out of the machine and drag back to my car. I selected 18kg wash and found it very expensive... This was the laundry on the Ennis Road in Limerick... My advice go to the Tesco laundry Matt on the Coonagh roundabout... Lots of machines and cheaper.. 10E for 18kg wash... So so disappointed...

Nul sterren

Nul sterren! Je was komt kleddernat uit de wasmachines. Inmiddels doen ook de displays het niet meer. Helpdesk zegt “er komt een monteur” en sluit vervolgens de chat. (This was in Putten, The Netherlands)

Good experiences so far

I am utterly surprised with the reviews here.

I started using this service since last October and have not looked back, even though it is not perfect. I will start with the CONS then PROS.

CONS:
1. You will never know if the machine is broken until you get there.
2. People leaving their laundry in overtime and there is no regulation or monitoring.
3. Some locations are impossible to find parking.
4. The app doesn't show all the locations sometimes.

PROS:
1. Powerful machines, 40C dried 20KG in 20mins
2. Washing is always clean
3. If one machine doesn't work, the other one is only 15 mins drive away (Southend)
4. I can do laundry anytime of the day or night
5. No need to worry about looking for coins
6. If the machines is broken, just call in and it is normal fixed the next day.

It is slightly expensive than a coin operated launderette, but the machines are guaranteed powerful especially the tumbler, whereas I had many experiences that I would spend for that £5 for a 20KG load at coin launderettes and still not dried.

It will be perfect if the app is interactive, such as showing LIVE status of which machines at working/broken/occupied with time left, etc. The map to be more accurate with locations.

If I could give less than one star, I would.

The "washing machine" doesn't actually wash. It instead gives it a "dry wash."

I say this because after getting two of their machines to wash two batches of my laundry (so one per machine), I was appalled by the wash. It's as if it washes the clothes without any water, as they came out only slightly damp and with the stains intact. Furthermore, the clothes still smelled of sweat and other odours.

It is evident that these machines are not fit for purpose, and they're not useful to anyone, given how badly they 'wash' clothes. In my opinion, this service shouldn't even exist if it cannot fulfil its purpose. I also saw the machine while it was rotating and I saw the maximum water line... The water couldn't even reach over the bottom of the washing machine hatch, so you wouldn't even be able to see the water. This leads the impression that you pay money for a placebo.

This is unacceptable and I would like a refund as the service doesn't fulfil what is advertised.

Truly terrible

Truly terrible! Ridiculously expensive and doesn't wash the clothes properly. Unless your clothes only need a tiny rinse these are useless
