On Tuesday 25 November, we noticed that our heating was not working so we rang Domestic and General to ask for visit by a technician. We explained that the household comprised my wife (81 years old) and myself (83). I also mentioned that my wife has a heart condition.
They booked what they said was the earliest available appointment, on Friday 28 November. We then spent a very cold, uncomfortable night.
On Wednesday 26 November, I became extremely concerned about my wife's health, in particular the danger of hypothermia.
I phoned Domestic and General again, explained my problem, particularly in regard to hypothermia, and asked if they could advance our Friday appointment.
They couldn't but they gave me Rightgas's number and told me to phone them. I did so at what was now 16.30hrs.
I explained my problem to a very pleasant call handler who's first words were to apologise that he could not get anyone to me the same day! I did not expect a same day callout.
However, they found me a slot for today, between 08.00hrs and 13.00hrs. I received a call from Rightgas at 09.30 this morning to say that their technician would be with us within 45 minutes. He was.
He worked on the boiler then examined every radiator that we have to ensure that they were all functioning properly.
Finally, when he was happy that all was well, he left us with a fully functioning heating system and very happy.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude in relation to Bart at Rightgas. He has been the representative through Domestic & General for the past few years and always goes above and beyond. He fixed my boiler this week and has been amazing

Everything went smoothly, all equipment was ordered by office bought on the day by Chris
Chris worked very hard , there was small leak outside which was also dealt with promptly.

Right Gas sent a technician to check on my boiler the very next day after contacting them. They tried and managed to accommodate my request for a morning slot.
I was also constantly updated on the progress which I found very helpful.

Excellent communications. Friendly people and works completed to the highest standard.

Chris Engineer and Charlie Apprentice I cannot commend highly enough, they were extremely thorough tidy and very courteous, they answered every question I posed.
Unbelievably during the end of new boiler install my external water pressure to my house was lowered and it seemed there maybe an issue with my system affecting the new boiler, Chris and Charlie checked boiler over and over again trying to diagnose why boiler wasn’t behaving in the manner that should, and spent many more hours than usually would be required due to the system showing low pressure, I found out late that night the external water pressure had been lowered and that was the reason for the problem not the new boiler, Chris had been with me since 9am and didn’t leave till 7pm an extremely long day, Chris and Charlie’s patience needs commending, I don’t write many reviews but in this case felt I should due to how extremely good they were, I highly recommend RightGas services especially Chris and Charlie … OUTSTANDING 5*

I had a visit yesterday from Stuart. He completed a thorough service of my boiler in a polite and efficient manner. I would highly recommend this service engineer.

Very efficient service. All work completed in a tight time frame. Friendly engineer(Neil) who explained thoroughly what was needed and why.

My boiler is located in a tiny cupboard on the third floor and needed replacing quickly, as we have a newborn baby and the weather was turning. I had the absolute fear of whinging plumbers and roofers and massive costs. How wrong was I? From Emma answering a question on WhatsApp within 30seconds to Chris and his team coming and getting it sorted in 5 hours. The whole experience was a pleasure. Other quotes were more complex and required more effort and grimacing. So I cannot recommend these guys enough. I'm a real person and feel free to drop me a line if you think I'm a bot.

The service overall was excellent. From taking us through options, booking the install, and the process of the installation. We are very happy!

I’ve recently had a boiler installed by Rightgas, the whole experience has been marvellous. Emma in the office and Chris the fitter did a great job in guiding me through the whole procedure. They were terrific and made the whole operation stress free.

The engineer was very thorough and completed the job in no time at all, he was very friendly and worked extremely hard. Brilliant service. We're very happy.

I had my boiler replaced by Chris from Rightgas. He was punctual, hard working, considerate and a genuinely pleasant person to have in my home. He left everything clean and tidy when he finished the installation, and explained how to use the new boiler and controls thoroughly.

Bart serviced my boiler last year and again he was very helpful, thorough and efficient. An extremely good engineer to have on your team.

Chris, the installer, was very pleasant and worked very hard whilst doing the installation. He is a neat and tidy worker. He is a good communicator and explained the functions of the new boiler well.
The office staff at RightGas were all very helpful in organising the installation of the new boiler.

Rightgas have servicing/repairing our boiler via our domestic and general policy for a few years now. Unfortunately when the 18 year old boiler stopped working recently the rightgas engineer could not repair it as it needed parts that were no longer available. Rightgas provided a competitive quote for a replacement in good time. We decided to use Rightgas for the replacement because of this and once accepting the quote a date was given for the install for the a few days later.
When Chris the fitter arrived after a long journey for him and he had been shown where everything was he quickly and efficiently started all the work. Any questions were answered and he gave options for some of the work that needed to be carried out.
Job was completed within 6 hours and heating system and new boiler are all working exactly as they should be. All in all a good experience and thanks to Chris for the good work 👏

We had Chris from Rightgas attend to our central heating system, and the whole experience was brilliant.
Very knowledgeable and got the job done and dusted!

Will definitely use Rightgas again.

Kris came out first round and identified and an issue with the boiler and changed a part.

However for some reason it still leaked and he identified it was the heat exchanger.

He came back out and put in a new heat exchanger which look a lot of effort.

In result the issue was resolved.

The guy is a genius!

My two main contacts with Rightgas were Emma Hale, who made all the arrangements for my Combi-Boiler Replacement, and Chris Goddard, who came today and fitted my new boiler.
