found a more affordabe option
I was able to find a more affordable insurance for our rented flat than with other companies. I don't like that the annual premium is presented without the tax, and then when you decide to go with it, that is when it gets added in and shown as a final sum. However, I believe all insurance brokers practice that method or presentation. So nothing specific to RightSure. I did have to contact their customer service with some clarifications, and Matthew Hill was very prompt and thorough with his answers to my queries. Overall a very good experience.

However, as an FCA regulated company, we’re required to show a clear breakdown of the premium and the applicable Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) separately before confirming the total cost. This ensures transparency and allows customers to see exactly how their payment is structured.

Having reviewed your cancellation email, I can see that your policy was cancelled because you already had an existing policy in place. The cancellation was processed in line with our Terms and Conditions, which were agreed to at the time of purchase.

I've used Rightsure (and their predecessor businesses) for years and always found the service to be excellent and their policy prices generally better than anything else on the market.
