I'm not short of money and just wanted an easy exchange so I swapped my Roland lx708 for a Yamaha p525 with pedals and stand. They organised the removal and delivery from a 1st floor, but charged me £900 and sold the Roland for £1800. I think they are a very mean company.

I visited Rimmers Music in Preston to collect a piano I'd already ordered online, but after spending some time with Graham, I ended up upgrading to a better model.

As a complete novice, I really appreciated the time he took to explain the differences in piano actions, features and specifications. He wasn't pushy at all. He just helped me understand what I was buying and why the upgraded piano would suit me better in the long run.

To be honest, I got upsold. The annoying thing is that Graham was absolutely right. Having lived with it for a while now, I can say it was 100% the right decision and I'm delighted with the piano.

I remember telling Graham that we were moving house and I probably shouldn't be spending the extra money. Fast forward to today, the house move never happened, I'm skint, divorced and still in the same house, but at least it's filled with the sound of this beautiful piano being played very badly.

I'm kidding, of course. That's a joke. I'm still happily married, but I do play the piano badly!

I ordered a DGX670 from Rimmers after watching how they presented and demonstrated keyboards and acoustic pianos on YouTube and this helped me make up my mind on what purchase I'd finally make, I ordered the Yamaha DGX670 and it arrived on time, well packaged,I was so impressed with it I ordered the purpose made stand and triple pedal unit.

A really positive experience and no pressure to buy anything. I knew what I wanted to buy and they were very accommodating. Because I wanted a digital piano that had to be shipped to the UK, I had to wait for the delivery. I was offered a similar Clavinova until the new one arrived but I declined. Waiting was a pain but had nothing to do with Rimmers, because it wasn't a Clavinova that is kept in stock. It arrived a few days ago and along with the piano, I got free headphones and a free double piano stool that match perfectly with the Clavinova.
I would highly recommend Rimmers for their help and their professionalism and I will probably use them again in the future. I bought it on their website and had great, funny and silly banter with them... I was almost sad when it arrived (!).
