RNG Classics - Self drive classic cars  Opiniones

I hired the BMW M3 E46 Convertible from RNG Classics and genuinely had one of the best days I’ve had in ages. I took it out to a car event and the drive alone was worth it! Everything you’d expect from the car.

From start to finish, the service at RNG Classics was perfect. Booking was easy, communication was clear, and the whole process felt effortless. You can tell they really care about their cars and their customers.

If you’re thinking about hiring something special, I can’t recommend RNG Classics enough. The M3 E46 Convertible was a dream, and the team made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back!

We had an incredible experience with RNG Classic Cars! We drove the DB9 Aston Martin, and it was absolutely unforgettable—smooth, powerful, and everything we hoped for. Robbie provided first-class customer service from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole process feel effortless. You can really tell he’s passionate about what he does.
If you’re looking for a top-tier driving experience with outstanding customer care, RNG Classic Cars is the place to go. Highly recommended

I cannot thank RNG Classics and Robbie enough for helping me plan the most incredible surprise for my fiancé during our wedding weekend to drive his absolute dream car - an Aston Martin. From start to finish, Robbie went above and beyond to make the experience seamless and truly special.

The car was immaculate and in perfect condition, and Robbie’s professionalism, communication, and attention to detail were outstanding. He handled every aspect with such care, from the delivery to timing coordination, making the whole experience stress-free and elegant.

If you’re looking for a luxury car rental that delivers both impeccable service and unforgettable moments, look no further. RNG Classics turned a dream into reality and added the most exciting, personal touch to our wedding weekend!

I hired a 1987 MKII Golf Gti convertible from RNG for my Dad’s 70th as an alternative to something more modern and the experience didn’t disappoint.

Great comms throughout, helped me figure out a few logistical issues as drove the car from Surrey to Scottish Borders then did a 2 day tour of Scotland including Loch Lomond, Glencoe and the Cairngorms then drove it back to Surrey on an 11.5hr driving day and the car didn’t miss a beat.

Unreal experience and one, me and my Dad will never forget - thank you Robbie and will be in touch soon about the M3!!

Booked the Triumph Spitfire for my wedding. Brilliant correspondence and super easy to pick up and drop off. Car ran like clockwork and overall very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommended.

I'm a wedding planner and booked Robbie's blue Rolls Royce Silver Shadow S2 along with a driver, Nev, for a wedding a Kew.

Extremely happy with the service from start to finish - clear, quick communication including a group call before the wedding to ensure we were all clear on timings and locations, and a whatsapp group on the day of the wedding in case needed, too.

Nev was a dream for the couple - true gentleman, perfectly on time, helped resolve some issues at the hotel, too.

Would not hesitate to recommend!

Robbie was a total star from start to finish.

With an extremely last minute request, with only 2 hours to arrange a vintage car to be delivered to Brighton private airport, everything was seamless.

My VIP Client was thrilled, and the communication throughout the service was superb.

Couldn't recommend RNG Classics more highly.

Robbie with RNG was fantastic to work with. We rented the 68' beetle while vacationing the UK from the states for a week. The car was a ton of fun and very reliable. Robbie's quick to respond and made the experience enjoyable. I recommend RNG to anyone looking to rent something cool!

Exceptional experience working with RNG to hire an awesome vintage car for our wedding. The whole process from choosing the right car through to organising the drop off and collection was so smooth. Superb selection of vehicles too and very knowledgable.

Overall really good experience with RNG, Robbie was helpful and communicated well. The car was great and mechanically performed well, though water was leaking in through the soft top in heavy rain but that’s more the nature of an old sports car than anything else. Would recommend Robbie to friends and would use again.

Fantastic firm, particularly pleased with the communication. When you’re paying for a luxury experience, you want the whole thing to run smoothly from the first contact to the last. Robbie has been in communication throughout, even weekends and evenings to sort out the hire and any questions.
Would recommend and use again.

I’ve never done a car rental of this type before (i.e. a special car for a special occasion) so was naturally nervous but honestly, Robbie and RNG have been brilliant from the first email all way through to the end.

The DB9 was in great condition and we had an amazing weekend in it.

Honestly, I wouldn’t go anywhere else now for exotic car rental in the south of England.

Thank you!

Very happy to recommend RNG. Great communication, the vehicle (Lotus Esprit Turbo) arrived on time, in fantastic condition and performed faultlessly throughout the hire. Thank you!

We hired from RNG classics for our Wedding Day & they were superb for the entire process.

Communication was fantastic and the drop off and collection process was super easy and allowed us to not have to stress on our big day.

I will certainly be using them again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for anyone looking to hire a top quality beautiful vehicle.

A truly great experience! I originally contacted RNG to rent a classic Rolls Royce for a weekend and this was arranged easily and with no hassles. A day before I was to collect the car, RNG contacted me to inform me of a problem with the car. Initially fearing the worst, RNG though offered me one of their sports cars instead at the same price. I would recommend them any day. Service was friendly and efficient and they respond quickly to queries.

I recently hired a Ferrari for the day and the experience was incredible. We drove down to the coast, and it couldn’t have gone smoother. Robbie was super helpful and made the experience even better.

Would definitely recommend!

Porsche 356 Speedster hire.
RNG were the perfect choice for our wedding day. We wanted to combine a timeless day with what we loved the most, and as an avid Porsche enthusiast, being able to have a classic Speedster to drive, to enjoy and to feature in our wedding day was fantastic. From booking to delivery, the process with RNG and Robbie was brilliant. Nev, who delivered the car was also brilliant and gave me some great tips on the car as I drove him to the local station whilst we chatted and shared our passion for cars. There isn’t many places who have such an array of classic cars available to hire, and self drive, and RNG were genuinely brilliant from start to finish.

Really friendly and quick response to enquiries. Arrangements were easily made with flexibility offered for an additional pick up we asked for.
Whilst the initial car we had booked became unavailable due to a technical issue, we were quickly offered an amazing alternative.
Robbie and the car arrived promptly and was happy to tell us about the car’s history - we had the beautiful Rolls Royce Silver Shadow which was stunning!
Great service, would highly recommend.

We hired the ford mustang and it was great, Robbie was flexible and made the timings work for us on the day. My partner drove the car and now won’t stop talking about getting our own..!

AVOID! TOOK OUR MONEY!

Perhaps I should have checked other reviews here first before booking. It seems like many other customers have found the same that while all is good no problem but the moment something happens, the owner creates new rules as he goes along and they are awful to deal with.

I strongly advise against using RNG Classics for your wedding or any important event. We booked their 1969 Jaguar Series 2 E-Type specifically for our wedding day, paying a hefty £1,400 well in advance.

Less than 24 hours before the event, they canceled due to “damage” to the car — offering unsuitable alternatives that completely missed the mark. When we requested a refund since the alternatives were useless after our wedding day had passed, they flat-out refused, only offering vouchers or rebooking options.

Their last-minute failure left us without the wedding car we carefully chose, ruining a crucial part of our day and our photos. This company clearly does not value its clients, their commitments, or the importance of your special day.

Unprofessional, unreliable, and dismissive of customer needs — we won’t recommend RNG Classics to anyone and hope this review saves others the disappointment and stress we faced.
