New Update (2023) - not ideal.

Used to be a decent email service but they just updated the drag and drop editing and while you can now put embedded videos, the entire editor is more difficult and much more limiting. The mobile view is all off center and there’s no way to edit in mobile view to fix. When I reached out to the chat they told me that I just had to just “play around with it” to get it to look normal. The editor also glitches and you have to refresh the page almost every time.

Hey Emily, thanks for your feedback in regards to our new editor. In fact, our new editor is more mobile responsive but the issue is that not all devices/applications render emails the same way. Even the same application on various devices can render emails differently because of things like screen size. For this reason, (particularly when mobile emails are not centered because of things like pictures being different sizes on different screens) you may not have the same results across different devices/platforms being used to view the email.

Our editor is 100% web based, so if you have an inconsistent internet connection while connected to our Campaign Editor, this can cause issues such as needing to refresh your page or certain changes not reflecting within the editor. Certain programs such as IP masking tools or VPNs can also cause an unstable connection to our website.

They cancelled service but kept billing

I used their review widget service and last week they emailed saying they were discontinuing that service starting July 31st. Then they billed me for August saying I didn't request a cancellation of billing in time! They discontinued service and want to keep billing for a service they no longer provide. They need to work on customer service.

Robly increases open rate

About 1/3 of opens for my customers and me are due to Robly re-sending emails using a different subject line to those who didn't happen to open an email the first time. I feel so good knowing that our audiences don't miss out on important information thanks to the OpenGen feature!

I love Robly

I love Robly. The platform is intuitive and has all of the features that we need. The reporting features make it easy to see what messages are engaging our people. On the rare occasion when we've had a problem, the support folks have been really helpful and, well, supportive! Highly recommend.

Things started off really well

Things started off really well. Sending speed was fast, delivery was great and it showed through open rates, and customer service was excellent. And then as I continued to increase volume, all the sudden my open rates went from 30% to less than 1%, it takes about 6 hours to send 100k emails, and every time I asked customer service if they could look into it and tell me what happened, all I keep getting told is that "our engineers are looking into it". That's literally all I've been hearing, and then when I started to get frustrated, the customer service rep decided to get snippy with me. I thought my money was as green as everyone else. I'm a paying customer as well, and don't know what happened, but unfortunately it is causing me to start looking for other options.

Their customer service was horrible. The Company is Awful! Stay Away!

Their customer service was horrible. Chat support was almost never available. They missed calls. Their customer service manager was rude, curt and like a robot. I was referred to the service by the owners and had my account terminated after only 10 days. They knew the industry I was in and partly cited that as a reason to terminate me. It was hard to setup and when I finally had everything ready they kicked me off. They don't communicate well with each other. My rep knew I needed to sort out my list and they said there were too many bounces. They didn't even give me any notice. Horrible, horrible people to deal with. Stay away!

More Bang, Less Buck

Got recommended to me from a fellow business partner and switched from Constant Contact to Robly. Its easier to use and more cost effective.

Miles Ahead of Constant Contact

We switched to Robly from Constant Contact about a year ago and we have not looked back since. The user interface is so much more intuitive. The reporting is more robust. Managing the our company's numerous email accounts is a breeze with Robly. The OpenGen feature has helped our sales staff book more ad revenue from existing clients and attract new business. We are happy we made the switch.

Easy to use with handy features

Robly has all its tools laid out in a way that makes them easy to use. Building emails is very smooth and goes much faster than Constant Contact. The metrics are also easy to read. There are a few little features I wish they could add, but overall we have been very happy using Robly and it's made our emails look better than ever.

Great interface, easy to use

I switched to Robly from Constant Contact, and haven't regretted it once. The interface is much more intuitive and easy to use, all the templates are good on mobile devices, and at least when I switched, they created a custom template for my company. Be aware that the price does increase with more contacts, but I think that's true anywhere.

Great service. Great price. Excellent results.

Robly is a great service for the price. It is definitely worth the investment for your marketing needs. I use the service to send newsletters to my client database. My newsletter is customized thanks to Robly and very easy to change every two weeks. Robly has saved me tons of money, by not having to pay a graphic designer to give me the look and feel I need to properly market my company. I would recommend this service to all business owners.

Great Basics. Needs to expand the offerings.

This is the perfect way to build beautiful communications for your business. We took advantage of the free design assistance where they took our existing logo and made a nice template from that. The only problem is that when you go in to work with the template it's difficult to keep some of the font colors from your template when you go to add your own work. Then trying to match the color is almost impossible. It would be nice if there was a "favorite colors" section to keep all your template colors in order. Also, there are only 10-15 fonts you can use and it can get very stagnant. I wish we had more fonts to choose from. Overall I enjoyed this better than constant contact purely from the design elements they added to our template, making it more professional and beautiful.

An easy-to-use, affordable e-mail marketing service

After using Constant Contact for years, I became frustrated with the lack of functionality and the rising prices. So, I searched for a better option, and I couldn't be happier with the decision to go with Robly. Their staff was very helpful during the transition, and they continue to have a very user-friendly interface. I would highly recommend Robly to any small business.
