When you buy a product like Rust-Oleum it’s because of quality. As a DIYer I prefer first pass quality and have used Rust-Oleum coatings over the years. My latest use involves a failure to launch... Ver más
False advertising - I ordered and paid for paint with free 24 hour delivery. I paid higher price for paint as I wanted it fast. I got email from fedex saying it would be delivered by 6 pm next day if... Ver más
I ordered dusky pink bathroom paint because it looked gorgeous on the pics. However it was more like hot pink. Silly me carried on and painted the whole room hoping it might lighten as it dries. Nope... Ver más

Failed Brand
After using Rustoleum paints for 35 years, the last 3 containers (flat black brush-on and two different flat black aerosol sprays) were defective. Had to re-sand, and re-prep on both aerosols. I consider this a failed product.
Rust-Oleum Chalky White - Waste of aluminium.
Rust-Oleum Chalky White. Applied to wood. The colour separates when drying to form crazy paving. Rust-Oleum Chalky White not only cannot adhere to wood and primer, it can't event adhere to itself!
Such a disappointment!
Bought satin finish for some kitchen cupboards on the recommendation of a friend, in Shortbread colour. She said the chalk finish scratched too easily. It was pretty obvious from painting a couple that it wasn’t going to cover in two let alone one coat as stated on the tin. Consequently I had to put on two coats of primer before putting on a top coat of Shortbread satin paint. Even being careful and using a short mohair roller, again as recommended, hasn’t given the finish I would have expected, so really disappointed with this product. I wrote and told them about this, but they have chosen to ignore my feedback. Will definitely look for an alternative product if I was to do something similar in the future.
Kitchen cupboard paint is amazing…
Kitchen cupboard paint is amazing prepare surface as directions and you will be delighted. Was going to buy new doors to update kitchen but this paint has saved me hundreds 👍
This could arguably be the worst ever…
This could arguably be the worst ever paint of any kind to be made. You may see high ratings in some sites but either these are fake or the people using them have very little to no standards. Don’t waste your time or money!
Absolutely the worst paint I have ever…
Absolutely the worst paint I have ever used the lid said that this paint does not represent the colour you can achieve your not kidding it was dull and no were near the lid colour metallic brilliant finish never ever buy this total garbage
Bought the glitter spray
Bought the glitter spray, & cant believe that I was charged £10 for such rubbish. It gave poor coverage, and I could barely see the silver glitter effect. Absolute waste of money.
Chalky finish furniture paint is poor and a total waste of money.
Chalky finish paint is absolute rubbish and a waste of money. It comes out as a thick sludge, dries immediately and leaves unsightly brush strokes. Followed all instructions and was left with a ruined chest of drawers and bathroom cabinet. This paint should be withdrawn from the market. Will never use again!
Rustoleum, why bother
Rustoleum. I can only make a single comment. DON'T USE IT. It's the worst paint I've ever used. Even the slightest overpaint, within seconds, leaves marks. You've been warned ⚠️
Very disappointed
Used Rustoleum twice now and disappointed both times, very thin paint, poor adhesion to wood and ceramics in my experience. 2nd tin I used the paint was pouring out rather than spraying out. I would NOT recommend this product.
Worst paint I have ever used !!
Worst paint I have ever used !!
Having recycled furniture over the years ,always using normal wood paint , followed by wax or lacquer l thought I would try this brand . Having followed all the instructions ,4 coats later !! The finish looks awful plus some areas the paint has peeled. A waste of £16 lesson learnt. Stick to normal paint
I have about 900 feet of travertine…
I have about 900 feet of travertine around my house, the company i brought the material recommended the miracle enhance and seal product and i did and very expensive by the way, it hasn't been a year and it was different shades and dull. Just to make the long story short i call the company send pictures all they did was to find a bunch of different excuses to blame me of doing the wrong thing.Just wasted about two or three hours of my time to have a negative outcome.
Thank you Rust-Oleum

I painted an extremely well cared for…
I painted an extremely well cared for and expensive 1970s white bedroom suite with this paint. IIt was well prepared. In fact it looked so good after cleaning I nearly didn't bother to paint it. If you'e got anything you want to restore don't use this ghastly stuff. It clumps, drags shows marks on a wood that was smooth before. I wish I'd used Shades Shed Paint which lasts through the years outside.
Do not buy Painter's Touch spray paint…
Bought Painter's Touch spray paint yesterday for my metal garden furniture. Followed instructions. Instead of spraying out, the paint dropped out in dozens of blobs, ruining my table and my shoes, and went all over the pebbles in my garden. Can't get it off hands either. Complete waste of money and now I have a ruined table also.
Do not use this paint it’s terrible
Do not use this paint it’s terrible, first coat goes on ok but when you try to second coat this stuff it’s like trying to paint tar, made a desk unit from mdf, was primed and sanded but used this crap and now looks awful, total sand back to bare, avoid at all costs !!!!!!!!!
Mechanical Issue
I like the flat black spray but about every 3rd can, the inside tube comes loose. The only way I can finish the can is spraying it upside down.
Rust oleum furniture chalk paint
Awful paint. As you paint it creates 'bobbles' of paint and it's very streaky. You paint it on and it bobbles off, if you go over the bit you painted seconds ago. Waste of time and money, now have awful looking tables and chairs, that I've got to repaint with something else! 🤬 Also the colour Antique white ( which looks a cream/beige colour) is brilliant white! Nothing like the colour on the tin. 🤬UPDATE: We added an amount of water to thin the paint and this works slightly better. Would never buy this paint again.
I bought the chrome paint
I bought the chrome paint, super easy to run! Finally got it to look halfway decent, sprayed Rust Oleum clear to seal it. Turned the chrome to aluminum! I’m done buying Rust Oleum paint! Nothing but trouble!
Bought three cans cuz I know they…
Bought three cans cuz I know they always malfunction every one of them leaked and one of them defected on me before I could do the job. Y'all really need to work on quality control
Do not buy
Do not buy. Bought aerosols of gold paint with new design of spray trigger to spray some furniture. Trigger is really heavy to press , paint is really thin, splurts out, drips and does not cover well. Heres the rub. £17 per can.
