Superlatives are inadequate to describe my recent trip to Tanzania and Kenya so carefully planned out by Safari Consultants. It truly was the trip of a lifetime. From the voluminous and extremely useful information provided beforehand to the carefully thought out itinerary including flights, guides and vehicles, and accommodations, our trip went seamlessly. Not a single disappointment or bad experience to report. Quite the contrary. I can truly recommend Safari Consultants without reservation.

We have used Safari Consultants on five different occasions since 2008, and they have never failed to impress us. Their depth of knowledge on all the different destinations in Africa, and attention to detail when it comes to creating a bespoke itinerary is second to none. It is always a pleasure to speak to any of the staff as their enthusiasm for ensuring that you make the right choice, and have a great experience, shines through.

Great experience with Safari Consultants planning our South Africa trip. We gave dates/budget, rough idea of what we wanted to do and a thorough itinerary was shared with everything from pick up times for transfers, internal flights, choice of hotels, as well as any day trips. SC were super helpful answering any questions and very knowledgeable about South Africa. They provided helpful information including restaurant recommendations, things to do, safety, medical info such as vaccinations/meds and were very easy to contact/quick to respond. Would highly recommend to anyone, it took all the stress of holiday planning away from us and we had an amazing trip!

Every part of the trip that Safari Consultants could control went perfectly. In addition we had no problems what so ever. We had 34 to 40 degrees every day.
I can not remember if bringing "hydration" powder, but it could be added to your list. NB: Two camps had third had not. Animals were plentyfold and all our guides were good.
We met an English in Busanga Bush doing the same trip in reverse, and they were Safari Consultants customers.

Mary was excellent. She was very helpful and understanding to make sure we received the type of holiday we wanted. I would thoroughly recommend Safari consultants.

Safari Consultants were brilliant right from the start, they took the time to understand what we were looking for and tailored everything to our budget and ensured we got the best value for money. Their recommendations for lodges, locations and activities were exactly what we wanted. The information they gave to help us prepare for our trip was excellent. Their organisation of the travel arrangements and itinerary during our holiday was perfect, ensuring that as soon as we got off the plane to the time we got on a plane to come home, there was always someone to look after us, guide us and ensure our security and most importantly our enjoyment. Their knowledge, experience and professionalism is outstanding. We had absolutely amazing adventures and experiences in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana thanks to Kelly, and the team. We would definitely recommend Safari Consultants and hope to be able to book another adventure with them again some time in the future.

We've just returned from a fabulous trip to Namibia organised by Kelly Mattin from Safari Consultants. Kelly was really helpful throughout - making sure she fully understood our requirements, coming up with great recommendations on which places to stay, pulling everything together brilliantly, and answering all of our questions in the lead-up to the trip.
Everything on the trip was so well organised - the internal flights were all smooth and to schedule, the transfers between each lodge went like clockwork and we were incredibly well looked after throughout the whole trip. We stayed in 4 very different areas (Sossusvlei, Skeleton Coast, mountainous Damaraland and Etosha National Park), we really enjoyed all of the different activities we were able to experience and loved the luxury accommodation that Kelly arranged for us.
Namibia is a stunning country and we're so happy that we were able to visit and explore the different aspects.
We will definitely use Kelly and Safari Consultants for our future trips to Africa.

Just got back from Kenya and everything ran smoothly with great attention to detail. A wonderful team is in place to assist and help with every aspect of the holiday from documentation to the whole travel/holiday experience. Assistance is given from the start and a friendly face at an unknown airport and guidance through passport control and baggage collection was very welcome. Accomodation was chosen with great care and was of a very high standard and all internal flight arrangements ran very smoothly. We are already considering our next holiday with Safari Consultants.

We had a great experience using the Safari Consultants for our honeymoon safari and beach trip. We compared a few travel agents but chose the safari consultants because Kelly was very knowledgeable and was able to give us multiple options and pricings and then advise us on the best options, rather than just presenting us with one itinerary. The lodges we stayed in were all excellent. We would highly recommend booking through the safari consultants

Mpala Jena, Zimbabwe, situated in the Zambezi National Park on the banks of the magnificent Zambezi river, was perfect in every way. Superb accommodation in lovely setting with excellent and very helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our trips on the river and drives in the game reserve viewing the wonderful animals and scenery. Well organised by Safari Consultants and highly recommendable.

Excellent guides, great setup, loved the guests all sitting down to dinner with the staff, staff interactions with guests where friendly and informative.

The places we stayed at were exceptional and it all worked like clockwork, very well arranged by Safari Consultants. I would highly recommend all the places and would like to make a special mention to the Mpala Jena Camp on the banks of the Zambezi river Zimbabwe side.

They were friendly, helpful, took time to figure out what would suit us. I didn't really have a plan or definitive ideas.
The companies they used were absolutely outstanding. It was a trip of a lifetime. Every transition was seamless. This was very helpful when time is a factor.

Rob, kelly and the team really listen to your own individual brief and come up with great well considered proposals. They really care and are also keen to get your feedback at the end .

The staff may have changed but the service remains the same - top class with informed advice and personalised bespoke service to suit your needs. Just returned from a return visit to Kenya with our children, 18 years after a magical stop in our honeymoon. Thanks to Frances the magic was recreated. A fantastic bespoke safari trip arranged for us by Safari Consultants. Frances was very informative and really listened to what we hoped to experience from the trip and delivered it for us. The logistics were stress free for us and everything went smoothly throughout. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife, way beyond our expectations, stayed in three beautiful camps, where the guides all had incredible knowledge of the flora and fauna that we encountered. A great experience. I'd highly recommend Safari Consultants.

Great advice from the beginning. All pickups and transfers worked perfectly and all lodges we as described with excellent food, fantastic staff and great locations. This is the second holiday we have done with Safari Consultants and everything 100% including viewing several wildebeast crossings of the Mara river.

We have recently returned from a safari holiday in Kenya organised by Safari Consultants.
The team at Safari Consultants were very knowledgeable and helpful, we had no real idea where to start and no particular preference for a destination. The consultant seemed to have an immediate feel for what we were after but was honest in saying that our options were more limited as we had left it relatively late to book (we started planning mid May for an August holiday). It was also pointed out that we would have to pay premium price for the flights because of limited availability. None of this compromised where we ended up. Our camp in the Northern Conservancy in Kenya was amazing.
Safari Consultants arranged the whole package, flights, airport meet and greets, transfers and the camp and hotels.
A comprehensive itinerary was sent through after our booking was confirmed detailing our full two week stay. Further information was sent regarding the visa application process for the countries we were visiting together with advice regarding vaccinations.
Safari Consultants use a very handy app called Vamoos which can be used to access flight tickets, vouchers, itinerary and country information.
We couldn't fault our experience with Safari Consultants, the whole process was highly efficient and well organised and we would highly recommend them.

Their attention to detail is first-rate - all holiday arrangements worked like clockwork. They listened carefully to what kind of holiday we wanted, gave advice and came up with the perfect itinerary for us. They take into account what I liked on previous trips - it feels very personal. They answered all my questions (quite a few!) very promptly and I felt they genuinely care.
I've used Safari Consultants many times and each experience with them has been great.
