It was very easy to get exactly what we wanted very quickly and efficiently. The staff was very courteous and helpful and the pricing was very reasonable. We have been looking for a vendor to provide this service for us and we are thrilled that we found Salesgenie.

Good but not great.

Product team is great…very responsive and helpful. Genie software is decent…it’s a mini CRM and works on “credits” to download prospect information when available (i.e. emails and addresses). Data is not great…mobile phone numbers are available on less than 10% of records and “not in service” results for the non-mobile phone numbers listed is greater than 40%. Data Axle does have a free “reference” version of their database that you can access through your local library instead of the $200+ per month for the Sales Genie subscription.

Accurate lists and good customer service

The list quality was poor

The list quality was poor. No phone numbers provided and many of the email addresses were not valid or would have bounced. I asked for a refund and received it.

Map interface has very limited functionality

The data I get is accurate and I've had good results with it, so I've used this service more than once. For me, the problem is the map interface has very limited functionality. I presume most people are only looking for broad areas (i.e. entire zip codes). My needs are for very specific areas (example within a 0.5 mile of a bus route) that have an intricate shape. I can't upload a .shp, .kmz, or .kml of a polygon to define my target area. If I go in and manually draw a complex shape, I can't seem to save it to use it again. I bought both consumer and business data sets but had to draw my shape twice. This redundant task can be time consuming causing extra cost for my client.

Got me the results I wanted

Not what I thought I was getting

The request was to provide real estate (which included title companies as well), legal and healthcare in a 75 mile radius of Lynchburg Va. Out of the 1038 companies that were provided, 238 had email addresses. Out of those 238, 38 were no longer in use as well as the list not identifying at least all of the real estate and/or title agencies in Lynchburg. There were a few PO Boxes as well, which I assumed there would not be as many. I feel that I did not received what I thought I was getting, very disappointing.

Frustrating software but good customer service

The software is frustrating but it is nice that Salegenie has a responsive and helpful team on your side. While a lot of companies have an AI bot you are forced to talk to you are assigned an agent here which is nice when you are having an issue that can cost your company money.

Incorrect Data and misleading information in my Initial meeting

The amount of callable leads is extremely low once filtered for DNCs. On top of that about half of the numbers I call are incorrect. I'll try to call a lead and it's his sons number instead of the leads. Or it's an old home phone number that is no longer in service.

I am trying to call turning 65 leads for medicare and after my initial call and asking questions I was under the assumption that I would be able to see the prospects date of birth (this is important for timeslines with medicare), and instead I see an age range which doesnt give me insight on who im calling in to try and set a meeting with. An example of this is is if there are multiple people in a household it'll say a few of them are in the age range of 60-64. That doesn't help me at all and wasn't how it was described to me in my initial sign up meeting.

On top of this all I'm running into multiple households with 5+ where the numbers are all mixed up or they're all listed under one person, so I'm playing the lottery on who I'm calling.
