After a long search for speech and language therapy options to support my child’s communication needs, I discovered Saltroad. I was matched with an experienced, UK-registered Speech and Language Therapist who aligned perfectly with our child’s needs, our budget, and our schedule.

We’ve been working with Anastasia for a few months now, and the experience has been wonderful. She is friendly, professional, and connects well with my child. Most importantly, she tailors her approach to meet my child’s specific needs, which has made a noticeable difference.

My daughter has had a lisp for years now and I have often thought of getting her speech therapy, but didn’t know where to start so I postponed looking.

I was so impressed with Alia’s consultation and her kind, knowledgeable and professional manner that I arranged for her to have a session with my daughter.
My daughter was immediately relaxed with Alia. She responded well to all the work set and engaged well with the practise sheets.
I had been concerned that my daughter would feel embarrassed about having speech therapy, but Alia made it fun and exciting.

Alia was very flexible with her times and always gave thorough and instructive feedback with interesting practice work.
We have now stopped the sessions because her lisp has improved so much, but Alia has offered help or a top up session should we need it in the future.
When we came to the end of the sessions my daughter said she was sad as she enjoyed them so much!

Saltroad placed us with a speech therapist really quickly and found a great fit, my son has ASD and is very speech delayed. His therapist picked up quickly areas he needed to work on and incorporated these as well as assisted me in knowing how to continue working with him in between sessions, he has only had 4 sessions and his and improvement in speech has already been noted by others. Great service and I am confident he is on a good path to progress! Thank you.

My experience has been great so far! We’ve had one session with Alia which my daughter loved and looks forward to every Friday for her speech session. I’ve got all the confidence that my daughter will make big changes

Alia was very helpful coordinating options for our son, implementing a plan of action, from tiring him out, to repeating early babblings, to altering milk schedules, skipping naps, to converying her personal suggestions from being a Mom to three were quite welcomed by us. Everything helps us calm us down. We are happy she is coordinating a S&L therapist to get our son on board to speaking soon.

We had speech therapy for our son who is 5, Isabel Dixon was absolutely fantastic, she made the session’s fun by breaking the time up with learning and okay. Leyton loved the games at the end and didn’t even realise he was still learning/practicing his sounds.

Debi was very professional. She listened to us and we felt she understood the issues and offered the right help. We went videos of our child speaking and communicating and this was a very good approach as it addresses some of the issues that come with online sessions. We could capture good number of samples for the reference of speech therapist. I would recommend this service for sure.

It has been wonderful experience working with Debi. She works so hard to make every session personalised and also gives homework to do during the week. Her kind and innovative approach drew my daughter to her instantly.

As new parents of a bilingual child, we were worried about her speech development. Thanks to Debi's great practical advice we started to work on how we communicate and interact with her more efficiently. She made us aware of many common mistakes parents in our situation make, and thanks to this we were able to consciously avoid them. Our daughter is now fluent and confident (in both languages), happy to express her opinions on every occasion!

Our SALT Debi was so patient and knowledgable on ways to support our Son. She provided a lot of useful insight on ways to improve his speech and they certainly worked as long as you keep practicing the techniques discussed.

I contacted SmartSpeech back in February as our nearly 3 year old is still not talking. We were facing long waits with NHS SALT and we were concerned with our sons speech and also frustrating behavior due to not being able to communicate. Since having weekly programmes with Lowri we have found a massive improvement with our little ones behavior more than speech but as Lowri advised, the foundations of communicating need to be in place before the actual communication. Now we are able to understand his needs and wants and whilst his speech isn't 100% there the behaviors and motions are in place and we're confident that the speech will be here in no time. Our little one has improved significantly and I don't believe this would've happened without the help of Lowri at SmartSpeech so thank you so much!
