Heaven on earth

Very satisfied, would surely come back.

very underrated and out of box hotel from the very checkin the experience was beyond expectation

We had the most beautiful, peaceful and zen weekend. It was time so well spent cooking in the cabin, reading from the bed listening and watching the rain from the big windows beside the bed and most importantly time off our phones!
The grounds are beautiful and the outdoor seaweed bath was just amazing. I can’t wait to go back and I would highly recommend Samsú

This is an absolute must for anyone who wants to unwind and get back to nature.
We stayed at Samsú, Co Meath just a few days ago and were blessed with perfect sunny weather.
We walked the extensive wooded area, going off the beaten track.
We used the outdoor bath and cooked on the outdoor firepit, slept with the blinds up and woke to the beautiful sound of birdsong and the sound of the cuckoo through the open windows.
The cabin had everything we needed. We look forward to going back again.

Just lean in to the experience! I happened to miss all of the arrival instructions and somehow that made it better…is this where we park? Yes, there’s a sign, “continue on foot, your analogue journey awaits.” An on brand wagon awaits to aid you in finding the cabin, complete with boots, a torch and a wet bag. It felt like a treasure hunt from the very start. The cabin is so carefully curated, everything is mismatched so perfectly, evoking feelings of childhood (I’m sure I had that exact tartan throw?!) and helping to create that homely, Hygge feel. Spent 3 nights and it still wasn’t enough, I could easily spend a couple of weeks there, just listening to your body, eating when you want, sleeping when you want, resting when feels good and exercising when you’re ready. Make the most of the experience by locking your phone away and not looking at the time for days. Marvel over hand ground coffee and listening to all the sounds of birds and cows and donkeys. This is my first off grid cabin experience and any others will have big boots to fill!

We had the most amazing time of our lives in Samsu this weekend. The cabin is so special and it’s such a beautiful concept. I felt refreshed and totally equipped to enter the real world again after 48hrs off grid and going analog. Rosanna has thought of absolutely everything and each little touch adds to the experience.

We had a lovely time at Samsu. It was so wholesome and chilled, an amazing contrast to the busy city life. Waking up surrounded by nature and not being immediately overwhelmed by phone notifications was incredible. The Samsu team have thought of everything. We will be back!!

We had a wonderful experience at Samsu just last weekend. Booking was very easy. The location was magnificent and we were surprised by how well the cabin was fitted out. We enjoyed meals by the firepit, great walks in the forest, starry skies at night, and great sleep in this analogue environment. I would highly recommend booking with Samsu.

The most beautifully curated place. You can tell that so much care and thought went into every detail in the cabin. I love how it champions Irish products and the analogue guide is so well written and designed. Going analogue was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a while. I will definitely be returning to what is a little hidden gem.

I stayed by myself, wanting to disconnect from screen time and reconnect to nature. The cabin is perfectly thought out, there is everything you would need for a short getaway. I loved the cassette player! The bed was very comfortable, so much so that I stayed in bed to read for hours. The outdoor bath is an absolute must, you are truly surrounded by nature and completely disconnected from the world (in the best way possible!). I would definitely recommend making use of the lock box and putting your phone away for your stay to get the most out of it. I came away rested and recharged and I can't wait to return again soon!

We stayed at Samsú for two nights and could have stayed for much longer. The location is gorgeous with so much to explore, the cabin itself is beautiful and really well thought out. We loved opening all the windows and listening to bird song in bed each morning (the bed is so comfy!) We locked our phones away and surprisingly never even thought about them. We made pancakes, played board games, listened to all the tapes and took leisurely strolls. Our dog absolutely loved the peace and quiet too and had a ball strolling round the meadow. The outdoor bath was a real highlight. Will definitely be back!

Had the best weekend stay at Samsú. The grounds and location are just breathtaking with great facilities on site for relaxing. The bed is ridiculously comfy (you’ll not want to get out). The level of detail including books, cassette player, picnic basket and flask are all so carefully thought out. Our black lab dog also throughly enjoyed his stay wandering through the meadow. The only criticism I have is a small pan would have been useful to cook a boiled egg in but I can’t even critique that!! 10/10 stay and can’t wait to return.

The perfect getaway, cant fault our stay and could of stayed for a week. We loved the bath in the forest and the little things Rosanna has done to make it special. We'll be back!

The best romantic getaway ever! Stayed in Samsu's cabin for 2 nights with my partner and we absolutely loved it. The pizza kit was so much fun, and THE OUTDOOR BATH!! Wow... We didn't use our phones and came back feeling so much less stressed from the daily grind of life! Will definitely be back for another retreat.

We had a lovely two night stay at Saoirse cabin. It was so cozy to bundle up with the windows open listening to the rain. Keep your eyes peeled for the abundance of wildlife that surrounds the grounds. The cabin was well equipped (including fully functioning kitchen, hot water and fluffy bedding) which made our stay so comfy. What a way to reconnect with nature and switch off. The pizza kit was a fantastic add on - would highly recommend! Looking forward to our next stay 🧡
