I don't want give even a single star to this SBICARD. It's a worst experience ever. No offer, no discount rather they would charge you so many type of charges and every time the charges name are different. Their staff themselves don't know what charges are being charge on what rate and on which pending amount. Really bad service, DON'T EVER TAKE SBI CREDIT CARD. And if you missed to pay the bill pn due date they will call 100 times in a day. They don't have manners to talk to a customer. Very low grade service.

I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with the SBI Credit Card, primarily due to misleading information and lack of transparency from the agent who sold me the card.
At the time of onboarding, the agent only highlighted the benefits and handed over a booklet, but failed to clearly explain the deductions, finance charges, interest rates, and monthly penalties that apply if the outstanding amount is not paid in full. These critical details were never verbally explained, which is unacceptable for a financial product.
When I later escalated this issue to higher management, I was informed that multiple charges are deducted on a monthly basis, including very high finance charges, which significantly increase the payable amount. I have also noticed unnecessary deductions made without proper prior notice, leaving customers to discover them only after the amount is debited.
Despite using the card minimally, I am now paying far more every month than my actual usage, making this card extremely costly and stressful. This feels like a clear case of poor disclosure and customer misguidance.
I strongly believe customers deserve full, transparent explanations upfront, not hidden charges revealed later. Based on my experience, I would never recommend SBI Credit Cards to anyone, and I sincerely hope the bank takes responsibility to ensure their agents stop misleading customers.
Please be extremely cautious before opting for this credit card.

Catastrophic Incompetence
Over many years, this so-called bank repeatedly sent me confidential documents belonging to other customers. Why? Because those customers mistakenly registered their accounts using my email address, and State Bank of India did nothing to verify it.
Let that sink in: no basic email or phone verification. No safeguards. No accountability. Just a blatant disregard for customer data and privacy. It's a minimum requirement for any serious business, yet SBI couldn't manage that.
I alerted them and asked to have my email blacklisted. Nothing happened. Silence. Asking an Indian institution like this to fix a security flaw is like banging your head against a wall - pointless and painful.
This isn't just negligence. It's dangerous. Every person whose data I received has been betrayed by the bank. If you value your privacy, your security, or even the basic competence of your bank - stay far away from State Bank of India.

I wish I had an option to give negative star. Don't take the SBI credit card. Never.
Their customer care is a disaster. Anything goes wrong and it will take you forever to sort it out.
I had stopped my card and closed the account out of frustration and in the end I was supposed to get around 3000 rupees back from them. Never saw that money again. Kept sending emails to customer care and they kept giving me same bulls**t, "we are looking into it". I also tried to escalate the case with Nodal officer but the request never went through and it kept showing that the request can not go through because of a technical issue.

SBI Credit Card doesn’t even deserve 1 star — it should get negative ratings. The customer service is extremely poor: they neither listen nor solve the issue. I paid the due amount well before the due date, but four days later I received an SMS saying that due to a “failure,” the amount had been reversed. Despite following up for many days, the amount still hasn’t been credited to my account. The truth is, SBI is eating the public’s money instead of resolving customer issues. My suggestion: do NOT use an SBI Credit Card. It’s the worst — even worse than “worst” can describe.

Using the SBI Card has been extremely frustrating. Reward points and surcharge waivers are not credited properly, and even after multiple attempts to resolve the issue through customer care, nothing changes.
I’ve been following up on a specific problem for over a month now, and the response from their support team has been completely unhelpful. They either ignore the issue or just keep repeating scripted responses without offering any real solution.
Overall, the service quality is very poor, and customer care doesn’t seem interested in resolving genuine concerns. Not worth the hassle.

It's impossible to request a credit line increase, and disputed charges don't get proper attention either. They ask for paperwork, which when submitted is ignored, and they ask for it once again. These issues have been going on for the last several weeks.
Better Avoid SBI Cards
The SBI Prime card offers Priority Pass benefits. However, it is valid only for the first two years. If you want to continue the benefits of the Priority Pass, you have to pay. Club Vistara's privilege is also uncertain now. Considering the other benefits and the annual fee, it is better to look for some other brands.
